What a facial! Ok HYDRAFACIALS are all the rage and now I get why! Amy did my hydra facial and it felt sooo good, revitalizing, refreshing and wonderful! I have never had a facial in my life let alone a hydra facial and this really got me excited to do it again in the future! This place is adorable. Clean, cozy, very cute with all of the paintings on the walls. Sand hill crane paintings while you get a facial and / or multiple treatments on the worlds most comfy bed. I loved this experience. It felt luxurious, relaxing and much needed! They have a Groupon right now for the hydra facial and I am so glad I found it! I wasn't going to post but since the owner Chris COMPROMISED my personal information to text me about a bad review that wasn't even mine (bullying behavior), I'll share my experience after all: Nadine at the front was confrontational and rude from the start, refused to let me decline the arbitration waiver (RED FLAG). I explained I've never had to accept it at ANY doctors or med spa or IV clinic and I go monthly. She rolled her eyes and said "well for us it's a requirement". I again said I was pretty sure legally I didn't have to. She then told me I could just leave. Then she said "It's not like we're FORCING you." Actually.. she was. She then said she wouldn't treat me if I didn't sign. Then the fake doctor on FaceTime (??) rudely mocked me for wearing a Covid mask as soon as the camera went on."Do you feel UNSAFE??" She forced me to take it off. I had to explain I was doing it as a courtesy for THEM. My partner's office had an outbreak. I tested negative but hey.. I'm a decent human. Sorry. The nurse was the ONLY super sweet and kind person there. But she couldn't find my vein and poked and readjusted it 5x INSIDE MY ARM. Mind you I have huge veins you can't miss. I was genuinely concerned for my safety. No wonder they try to force you to sign arbitration. RUN. read more

Dr. Refresh operates in what is known as the "gray market", where the owner asked me to not redeem my Yelp voucher and instead offer a direct rebate, to cut Yelp out of their earnings and save himself some money that otherwise would have gone to this platform. This is, of course, in direct violation of Yelp's terms and conditions. Yelp, if you want my screenshots of the conversation, you're welcome to have them. The service was expensive and, after conceding to the request to not use the Yelp voucher I purchased, he over-charged me $100, repeatedly asked for proof of the Yelp voucher after hours, and then when I sent him the screenshot proof he needed, he told me to, "Calm down", reassuring me that he would not take my money. Overcharging me was only part of my issue with Dr. Refresh; The owner, being a rude dirtbag, undercutting the company that provides him with leads and revenue he wouldn't otherwise have, was what I found most unacceptable. I had a poor & stressful experience getting Clear & Brilliant laser at Dr. Refresh medical spa, which was completely disorganized & unprofessional. No one was even there for my appointment & they had to send somebody to the location to let the nurse & I inside! I arrived early at 2:40pm for my 3pm appointment for Clear & Brilliant today when the door was locked and it appeared no one was there. I figured I was early, they may not have a front desk employee & the nurse must have just been in treatment with another client. After waiting a little while, I decided to call the number on the door when the doctor answered. He didn't know who I was or why I was calling. He said he would check the schedule & call me back, which made me think that they completely forgot about my appointment. The nurse Katerina was very sweet & deserves 5 stars -- it wasn't her fault, I really liked her personally. However, she was frantic as she approached to see me waiting & told me that their office manager was sick & left in the middle of the day and that some other person also left. She was talking to the neighboring business who told her to check with the building or security to let us in, but they didn't have a key to unlock the door for us either. I was told to sit in the next door random physical therapy office while I wait. In the front office of the random physical therapist, I was asked private medical questions pertaining to my health & medication in front of 3-4 front office staff of the PT's office, which isn't super discrete to conduct a good faith exam. During this, she said somebody from the staff was at the airport (around 2:50pm) and it would take about 40 more minutes for somebody to arrive. As I said, I don't blame her, it's the business at fault. I'm usually super understanding and laid back! I know things happen. However, this was my very first impression as a first time patient and should have taken it as a sign to cancel. Luckily, a girl finally arrived & we were let inside. The treatment room was very clean & stylish. It was all black, gold accents & palm tree vibes. The treatment itself was fine. She first numbed my skin. As for the laser portion, she went over my skin with the laser with one pass. It took only a few minutes in total. She did a good job. When I went to check out, she wasn't familiar with the system (from my understanding) and apologized again for the check out. Again, I don't blame her because she is the nurse and the worker that arrived for us wasn't at the front desk. Then, a tip screen appeared asking me to leave a gratuity!!! Hopefully it was just for the esthetician because a nurse should not be receiving a tip on a medical procedure. I wasn't told to bypass it, so who knows. I'm sure if I clicked 20% they'd accept it. Overall, it was a really weird & stressful experience. Getting an elective cosmetic treatment at a medspa should be a fun and relaxing experience, especially when I'm paying hundreds of dollars and I should be able to enjoy the experience. The whole entire time it felt stressful for one reason or another, and having to be given an apology the whole time for literally everything is not the experience I was hoping for today. At the end, nobody from management contacted me to apologize, so it doesn't seem like they care about the experience I had there today. Ironically, I review medical aesthetic treatments around LA and I'm an influencer with over 212,000+ followers across my platforms. With that being said, there's so many great medspas in LA & unfortunately I won't be able to recommend this medspa to my beauty followers. read more

I had an awesome experience here. After a long week this was perfect for relaxing my muscles with an hour cold plunge/sauna session. I got my own PRIVATE room with both a cold plunge and a sauna in it so i could go at my own pace. The sauna was so relaxing and even though I was nervous about the cold plunge I really enjoyed it. The staff are unknowledgeable and pay for their high reviews by offering promos to potential customers if they leave a review, and then if the review isn't 5 stars they either remove it or have Yelp take it down. It's wild to my that Yelp allows this dishonest behavior as it's a clear violation of their terms. The staff here just rude and completely unprofessional. I know they get some of the Barry's crowd, but seriously these people are sketch. Also this business is creating FAKE positive reviews, Yelp seriously needs to look into this.
