Update: Of course after I posted a truthful honest review, she reaches out to me, just to be awful. See attached photos. Imagine being a terrible business owner who treats clients like this, when they aren't happy with your services? Stay out of the customer service industry. I needed to update this review after my experience last year. She's a nice person, but the gel-x quality was consistently bad. Multiple times. Every appointment. 1-2 days after getting my nails done, after every visit with her, the gel-x nails would crack or break in half. I've been getting apres gel-x for yearsssss (on a monthly basis at multiple salons all over LA and Canada). This has never happened to me before where they would break, only after visiting this salon.... when i reached out to her multiple times to express my disappointment, for $150+ nails, she deflected, blamed... me? for my nails?! This was my last conversation with her. After I confronted her, she unfollowed and blocked me on social media. I just wanted a refund of the $$ I paid for my nails. As a note, when I get gel-x at Ibiza Nails in WeHo, or Nail'd It in Glendale or Pasadena - those aprex gel-x last me 4-6 weeks, even when I was moving and opening boxes. Sadly, due to how I was treated, and the state of my nails, with lumpy thick coats, and the prep/cleaning of the nails, after every appointment, I cannot, in good faith, recommend this salon. read more

I made an appt for a classic mani/pedi combo for a Friday afternoon after an IG recommendation from someone I know. I didn't know what to expect but I was hopeful about the small setting with not a lot of people around. This whole experience was literally what I needed after a long week. Sunshine took care of me! She was on point with the mani and pedi. I got regular polish and it looked like a gel manicure. But honestly that wasn't even the best part. She was super warm, welcoming and just an all around pleasant person to spend a couple hours with. This was a far trek from Long Beach but 100% worth it. Thanks Sunshine! read more

Oh man - I came on here (yelp) and saw nothing but great reviews. But unfortunately I had to give this a three because of presentation and finish. Let me say that first I booked a manicure by accident because I already was stressed out from the week. But the woman said it was okay and proceeded to prep for a pedicure. She was GREAT, good conversationalist, and may I say very NEAT and CLEAN space. But, as you can see from the pictures, there's no shape AND she also she didn't clean up the polish. They have an online appointment system that works well with clear directions of where to park for validated parking (awesome), appointments are done in a cute and clean office one-on-one, COVID precautions were taken (including a physical barrier, gloves, mask, strict hand washing procedure; there was an in-office sink which was convenient). I have something to say - my experience at Beauty Pro LA was absolutely incredible and unmatched. I'm trying to be responsible during this pandemic but also get my beauty treatments - you feel me? I did some research for a place that specialized in dip powder but was also high on sanitization - Beauty Pro LA popped up first thing. I live in Inglewood but happily made the drive on Friday, July 10th. I was greated by Sunshine (the nail tech and co-owner, not to be confused with rays of light - although both spark joy ;) - she brought me back to the private suite (Exclusive!) and I was immediately struck by the cleanliness & minimalist decor. The energy in the suite was so calming and Sunshine's energy - don't even get me started - she's kind, thoughtful, and clearly knows her way around people and nails - her skills are impeccable. I'm a bit of a nail perfectionist and she hooked me up! My nail extensions were perfectly shaped and the color (nude) was gorgeous. I left so happy with my nails but even happier with my experience. I've already booked my next appointment (which is big for me because I have commitment issues lol) and cannot wait to get beatified and support this phenomanal woman-owned business. Careful, thoughtful, precise and pretty! :) I met Sunshine at her last salon before she opened this one with her business partner. I really enjoyed how easy she was to talk to and that she genuinely enjoyed what she was doing. I've never felt uncomfortable asking her to make a change or if I needed to come back for a fix. I have exclusively gotten dip manicures from her but I'd imagine she offers the same expertise with all her services. The salon is brand new and private!
