Met the owner (Samantha Tham aka Sai Liang Tham aka Shiau Lai Tham) - take note of these names if you need to take legal action as well - while she was setting up shop at a doctors clinic I was at. Was very nice and would have casual conversation while I waited for my appointment. I was one of the first to sign up for her laser hair removal service, she had just bought a machine and offered me a one year deal for $2,000. 6 months into it I had a bad accident that left me in the hospital. Before this had happened we had developed a friendship (I even helped her move into her new office) and she texted me to check on my health and promised to pause my service. Skip to now, I am finally healthy and done with surgeries and can resume the service and tried to contact: - First time attempting she said she had new partners and had to check with them, the office manager called me back and said he would only give me 1 session from the 6 promised/owed - Second time, she said she would speak to him and the partners, the manager calls me back again saying they would only offer 4 sessions as "prices have gone up" - Third time, today, she has been ignoring my texts for the last week so I called a few times and she finally picked up (noting that it was her off hours). Asked me what I needed to continue and I said my 6 months or a prorated refund. This request turned into her shouting at me for "threatening her" and future communication will only be done through the manager, who unfortunately keeps getting mixed information it seems. Whatever "botox" they use is horrible! Didn't last at all and they refuse to show you the botox bottle before drawing it into the needle. They prep the injections in another room and bring them to the injector so you never see what is actually put inside. So sketchy and scary. Literally have no idea what they put in my face but the effects were gone within two weeks. Luckily no damage just a complete waste of money. I prepaid $800 for 100 units and have 44 units left but I won't be returning. So upsetting, this business could be really nice if they just used quality botox. read more

It proves expiry date and genuine product. Allergan Botulinum Toxin. This place oddly refused to do that for inconsequential reasons. She showed me an unopened box of Botox but didn't open it and said she could not in front of me because it wasn't sanitary. ??!!! (Did I miss the Bio medical research lab next to the bathroom back there?) Now I'm wondering what the heck they are putting in us. Do other people's Botox injections work? Muscles relaxed for 4 months? Chinese Botox, or heavily diluted Allergan Botox is weak and does not work well or last. You'd have to come back sooner and more often. Chinese generic Botox costs less then half of FDA approved Botox and is likely against the law for a practitioner in CA to inject into a patient When I politely persisted they do this in front of me, the manager hustled over and abruptly chose to refuse me treatment. That's one way to not inject my facial muscles with unapproved substances. It's also rude, considering the time, long drive and lack of parking in busy Weho. Two stars only because the office is nice and the staff are friendly. Do NOT go here for a laser IPL. I have an office I go to and they have zapped darker sun spots than I currently have in only one session in the past 8 years (I've done it twice with them) I didn't want to spend $$ and go back since I'm on a budget currently, so I got a Groupon after seeing the reviews to go here. Well, as soon as I arrived I was debriefed on how the laser will take several sessions before showing any visible results. When I told them my other medi spa saw my sun spits and said they will zap in one session (as they have before) they said they don't want to burn my skin. I wish I had spent the $400 and gone back to the place I know. Wasted time and wasted money to go here. Over 2.5 weeks and my sun spots haven't gotten darker, haven't flaked off, and haven't gotten lighter ONE bit (which is what a laser IPL should do) Either their laser machine is from the dark ages (I doubt it) or they bank on getting you to return several times. So instead of paying $400/$500 at a place and going once, you will going in 3/4 sessions which comes out to the same price, sans the inconvenience of traveling and dealing with parking etc. Do not recommend. read more

I am used to be skeptical in Botox and filler, and Linh changed my mind. She did my nose and my chin and forehead so well that it looks so natural, my coworker keeps asking me if I lost weight because my face look a lot smaller and more define. It all thanks to Linh. Also she doesn't up sale you. Do expect that she will point out your flaws on your face, but it's all up to you if you want to do it or not. It took me a whole month to do one part by one part because I was afraid if I do it too much and too many areas. I had bad experience and few things concerned me and I got some many red flags, it's a medical spa and I didn't see any license and no doctor on site, and when I got the Botox the nurse Lin's brought a pre made Botox syringes from the back , Lina said said she made this syringes earlier in the morning , I know from previous experience that they supposed to have the product in front of you and show you it's legit and new , the experience I had got me very worried and concerned, I hope I didn't get bad Botox or other kind of filler that are not legal or not legit. I would have feel much more comfortable if I saw that she took a new needle and put in the Botox in front of me . I did expressed my concern with the nurse Line but she didn't took me seriously , and in my way home I got very anxious that maybe I got injected with other filler or used syringe, that area that been injected feel harder than what it was before and it's not supposed to happen with real Botox, hopefully she didn't injected me with filler . some of s are suffering from anxiety and afraid of injections with foreign material going into out body, will be nice if medical professionals will be taking us seriously and be more empathetic, and if we ask to see a new needle and the Botox bottle just to be on the safe side , then they should respect that and take it seriously, because it can causes a great deal of anxiety for long time . for Tmj pain ( jaw pain) , in order to really get the masseter muscle the nurse needed to use a longer needle, but she used pre made injection with small needle the get the Botox superficially in the skin and only get to the small muscles above the masseter. they all look very young nurses and I'm not sure how much experience they have , and I feel I made mistake by going there, I just hope and pray the nurse injected me with real legit new fresh Botox and not something else. All these medical spas in every corner in town is scary , and they have really high competition so they offer deals and low prices often using cheap and diluted stuff that they can charge less . and we don't really know what being injected to our bodies. I did ask to see the Botox and new syringe and got refused and I got refused when I asked to see license, which made me wonder if they are legit medical spa , because everything they do there it's medical , so where's the doctor ? and why I couldn't see the Botox and new syringe when I asked nicely ? how can I know what being injected to me ? she ignored my fear and anxiety and before I knew she already injected m jaw . under the care of a real doctor I would never be treated like this . medical individuals not only care for money and treats humans like numbers , they should be trained how o be empathetic and take extra time to be compassionate when the patient expressed that they feel fear and anxiety and they like to see first what being injected to them. I hope this nightmare experience be behind me soon . after few days the area injected is hard and bumpy , Botox should not do that , I hope it doesn't mean I been injected with other type of filler and not Botox , also 20 units of Botox is 0.5 ml in the syringe , 20 units syringe was supposed to be less than half ,and the syringe that Line injected me with was all the way full , which mean either was another type of filler or overly diluted Botox or not legal filler. I guess I'll never really know the answer , if the nurses and doctors refuses to show you what they inject you with , it's mean they hiding the truth the manager Samantha or whatever her name is ,she's mean person , her English and communication skills are very bad. she ask question like what's the issue or what do you want , and then when you try to answer she's talking over you and hang up the phone , how a manager don't have good communication skills . I did spoke with Lina , what can I say Line the nurse is sweet and she try to keep saying she did everything right and if I have issues I should go to hospital , they wishy washing you. unfortunately you don't get any empathy from these people , they are there to inject you make money and they are not understand your concern, they busy with their Groupon clients that feel up the place with cheap deals , still until now I didn't get answer if there's a real Doctor to over see the clinic , the manager got stressed out and that's why she keep being rude and hang up the phone , I been told go online check the license , but how do I check if you don't give me the license number or the name of the doctor. a classic example of how simple questions become so complicated only because people hiding the truth , they don't have doctor there , and how you open medical spa with NP license? so if you guys ever have any concerns when you go there , don't rely on the manager there do give you any understanding, and good luck with understanding what she says in English read more

Let me tell you, I'm 42 years old, I age pretty well, but after getting Botox, I honestly felt and looked 10 years younger, I was very pleased with the outcome, and I definitely will be maintaining it.
