I stopped in here because as I was driving by, there were a ton of cars in the lot, and a variety of customers walking in and out. I'm glad I came. This is a seat yourself type of place. The service is friendly and quick. The food was hot and a bit spicier than I expected. I recommend this to anyone in the area.

Obviously a local hang out - 6 officers came and ate while I was there! Breakfast burrito was good! Great coffee, too! Nice waitresses and cozy setting.

Best food we've had in forever. Breakfast and lunch/dinner served all day. Street tacos were ridiculously good.

Thank God for Yelp. How else would I find a good breakfast spot in Bogalusa? It's very cheap and seems to be a local hang out.

Yo-Yo's Bar & Grill on Bogalusa's "restaurant row" has become my favorite of their two locations…read more This spot has a great vibe -- fun, welcoming, and full of friendly faces. It really feels like the kind of place where people remember you, and sure enough, as soon as we sat down they offered drinks right away and even remembered our names from past visits. Heather was our waitress, and she was kind, upbeat, and super helpful with recommendations. She also served up some really good local margaritas that didn't disappoint. The food came out seasoned well, tasted great, and felt like a solid value for the price. The only small hiccup was that it took a bit of effort to get someone's attention when we needed refills, but aside from that, the overall experience was really good. Yo-Yo's continues to be a go-to spot in Bogalusa, and this location in particular never fails to make the visit enjoyable.

Got Fajitas?…read more Tried this local joint for some fajitas. Really good slight char/crunch on the meat. Veggies were cooked to tender perfection. I always choose to not get rice, beans and tortillas so I can not speak to that. They did accommodate my request for subbing all of that for all of the toppings. You only get a choice of 2 and those are guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, cheese and pico. Super happy they swapped me out. Now the chips and salsa... that could use some work. Was not bad by any means but would maybe not get them again. The salsa was more of a "bought" flavor that they may have added some chopped onion in to to fancy it up. Again, not bad but nothing special. All in all, good food and decor is your typical Mexican restaurant. Would eat again when I'm in Bogalusa for lunch for sure.

Homemade corn tortillas, fresh and crunchy tortilla chips, salsa, and beans. I had the carne asada and it came fully loaded with sizzling skillet of onions, guacamoles sour cream, pico, and cactus. Their top shelf margarita really packed a punch. With all the seafood choices I am still concerned about the oil spills in the gulf, I am still reluctant to eat any of it. So glad I picked this place. Top notch food.

New Location: Gorgeous. Large. Clean from what i can tell. I…read morego every other week. But - staff badly needs service industry training including manager/owner. They are nice, but clueless. Inattentive. Food is very decent. Good complimentary salsa & charbroiled beans with chips. Sometimes chips taste burnt oil. Go for taco Tuesday a lot. Have bands & $1.50 street tacos if order minimum 4. They're good. Only Taco Tuesday deal on tacos in Slidell I've found besides Tacos & Beer (ew) $1 tacos. Drinks are overpriced. Cocktail/beer menu not detailed enough with prices or ingredient description. Margaritas 2 for 1 sometimes and on taco Tuesday BUT they are cheap syrup instead of lime juice. Then barely shaken or cold. I disliked frozen and regular. Servers aren't trained well or familiar with menu or prices so you're on your own as far as familiarizing yourself with any specials and advocating for drinks refills or literally anything else you need. Double check your bill before you pay ive been given wrong ticket for another table multiple times. They also have issues honoring Toast loyalty program with points you build up. If server cant figure it out, ask for manager... who is capable of figuring it out but doesnt want to comp you coupons if the machine doesnt do it automatically. If anyone wants vegetarian options aka grilled veggoes or something be prepared for them to completely upcharge that more than the price of meat for a few skimpy onions... no sizzling fajita veggie selection like other places. Also, always out of the tajín and candy for micheladas. Always forget the pineapples that are supposed to come on al pastor tacos. Just ask for it. PS also good $ deal on the street tacos on uber eats & door dash compared to other places. Birthdays get complimentary scoop of ice cream and singing with decorative accessories worn by servers and sombrero for you. Old Location: New Place. First time there. Staff friendly & quick even though only 2 people were front of house. About 8 tables full at a time on Wednesday night.. Ambience cute for small space, nicely decorated inside & out. Food, horchata & michelada really good ! Food plated nicely. Birria plate on big cutting board with sauces. Churro share portion set up on cute cart. All good! Just recommend getting bottled beverage or horchata b/c tap water & fountain drinks tasted weird water.
