Great service, great value, easy to work with. Cleaned up my yard and patio, removed bushes, and aerated lawn. Would hire again.

This job took longer than anticipated due to equipment malfunction but it got done well. They are a group of hard workers at a fair price

Had them aerate my yard this spring. They got me in quickly and are affordable. Would hire again.

JRM Landscaping did great work for our home owners association (HOA), from start to finish. They…read morespent more time with us on site than other bidders, offered creative solutions and asked great questions which helped us better define the scope of work*. The JRM team communicated very well throughout the project and they were responsive and easy to work with. Their pricing was competitive and they delivered everything they had promised, and then some: JRM did QA (quality assurance) on the project after the work was done, proactively made a punch list, and asked for additional feedback from us before calling the job complete. It was a pleasure doing business with them! *This scope of work included removing several evergreen trees and existing stumps, replacing them with new plants, clearing two beds of rocks, mitigating the soil for the new plants, installing/replacing sprinkler lines and heads, creating a dry creek bed rock formation, and trimming other trees.

This summer JRM broke four sprinkler heads and killed three trees. They did fix two of the…read moresprinkler heads. (They do not flag the sprinkler heads before aerating.) The aerator ran over some of the heads. They killed the new little trees by spraying poison around the base so they did not have to edge around them. I did not give them permission to spray poison in my yard. They refused to give me any compensation for the trees. I have used JRM for almost twenty years. It was a good company before John Meinert died.

I found Nick on Yelp and was immediately impressed with him during our initial consultation. We had…read morea substantial backyard overhaul and met with several landscaping companies to get quotes- Nick understood our vision immediately and in a way none of the others did. Admittedly, the only thing that gave me any pause was that he doesn't have many reviews- don't let that deter you!! Nick gave us an incredible design and worked with us to revise and phase it out for budget purposes. We completed phase 1 of the work with him this spring (deck demo and paver patio install) and it was absolutely seamless. From tweaking design to picking materials, Nick was always accessible and a great communicator. His crew worked quickly and efficiently and we are SO thrilled with our new outdoor space. We'll be calling Nick again next year to tackle the rest of our project! Cannot recommend him highly enough.

We hired Nick and Viewpoint Design Group LLC to landscape our backyard in April 2022. Our project…read moreincluded design services, complete removal of existing backyard landscaping and patio, save for one tree, pouring of a new concrete patio and hot tub pad, installation of a gas fire pit and gas line for our grill, new sod, 5 large trees, around 20 plants, and a new irrigation system to include new valves and lines. Many aspects of the project fell short, and if you don't want to read any further, my recommendation is to look elsewhere for your landscaping needs. Pros -Very solid design work, our backyard originally looked great and the design is much more functional and private. Cons -Patio: the subcontractor ran short on concrete and I witnessed them pulling what was left from the pump lines and a catch tray to complete the project. The result is a portion of our patio that has incorrect drainage/pooling, spalling and cracking. -Irrigation: and entirely new system, including valves, was supposed to be installed. None of the valves were replaced and I am now having significant problems that will require a complete replacement of the 20 year old valves. -Plants: Nick assured me that the 7 boxwoods he had planned would hold up to my two male dogs. They were dead within 3 months, replaced under his warranty, and were all dead again the following spring. In researching, it turns out that boxwoods are not tolerant of dog urine whatsoever and something else should have been used. -Fire pit: beautiful centerpiece in our backyard. Unfortunately, it was slammed together at the last minute and the internal structure couldn't support the lava rock. I rebuilt it myself less than 6 months after the project was completed. Lawn: extremely lumpy and uneven, is going to require a bunch of sand and labor to get it where it needs to be. I spoke with Nick many times after our project was completed to address some of these issues (not all were immediately present or known about) and was brushed off and made to feel like I was putting him out...after cutting him a check for $60k. Not only is the value not there, I am now paying a second time for things that weren't done correctly the first time and in some case were borderline fraudulent like the sprinkler valves.

I'm an outdoor living designer that services two locations with in person services but sometimes we…read morework remotely. Often times our remote projects are in the western United States where homeowners already understand the value a designer brings. The biggest downfall of designing remotely is not having a contractor to refer to our remote design clients because as I'm sure you can imagine, things don't usually go to plan and corners get cut. That changes for us when we met Joe. High end custom outdoor living construction is expensive, it takes a while and it's stressful but if the communication between all parties is on point, the project is a breeze. We're happy to have aligned ourselves with Aspenwood. Our other projects in the area have been train wrecks due to contractors promising things they cannot deliver, overbooking themselves and most importantly horrible communication. This company has knocked it out of the park for 3/3 of our area projects and we're looking forward to the next one.

We cancelled the job in the last few days of August 2024 when they still hadn't planned a start date with us. They refused to return our deposit - stating they had already purchased materials, which was strange, considering we hadn't even chosen our materials yet. AVOID. So, literally - we got NOTHING for $2,000.
