I am very happy with the work from Josh & team at Denver Tree and Landscape. Josh had great suggestions on how to freshen up our outdoor space to both look good and be budget-conscious since we're planning to sell. He was also very communicative about getting our project scheduled (BONUS: he was able to get us started sooner than originally planned). His crew is some of the nicest people too. My son was running a fever for the few days they were working on our yard and they asked about how he was doing each day (one gentleman even asked if he could pray over him which was so unexpected and nice). They are considerate of your space. At the end of each work day, they sweep up and consolidate their tools to one area so it doesn't feel like you're in a construction zone. The finished product is very polished and well done. When there were things I wanted adjusted or trimmed a little bit more, Josh was very agreeable and happy to oblige. And yes, I was that high maintenance client who had a request to add more flagstone AFTER they were done and they were so great to get a team out the next day to make that little addition. And how often does a project come in under budget?? Was nice to see that they are very precise in what they do. After the project is done, Josh takes measurements of the actual work and adjusts to actuals which made our project come in a little under budget (yay!). We searched for a landscaping company with good ratings and reviews. We chose Denver Tree and Landscape. Josh was polite, prompt, very knowledgeable. HIs team of landscapers were early, worked hard during sun and rain, and they took time to clean the sidewalks and streets every night before leaving. The estimate was well written and Joshua kept us up-to-date every day on the progress. We had old grass removed, and old cottonwood tree and roots removed, rocks cleaned and weed barrier replaced, bushes replaced, sprinklers replaced and metal edging added. The final product was better then we could have imagined. Denver Tree and Landscape is an outstanding business because of Joshua and his great team of employees. We are excited for him to work on the back yard projects soon. Thank you for what you did for our front yard!!! read more

Where do I begin? My husband is a tradesman, and he's taught me how to spot a solid worker from a mile away. So, when we needed to find a landscape team to finish up a long project on our backyard, I put out feelers here on Yelp to find someone for the job. The quotes I got were all over the place, and the treatment I received was equally all over the place. The one person who was both friendly, professional, and willing to meet me where my budget was, was Josh at Denver Tree and Landscape. Josh talked me through my concerns about quotes I got from other landscapers and explained the rationale behind his budget and why he was opting for certain materials for my job. I was shocked, nay, blown away at how detailed and thorough and readily available he was to explain the whole process to me. He didn't just had me a number, he told me *why* that number was the way it was. And in my experience, that *never* happens. Josh and his father removed a tree (that I didn't know was dead but Josh's dad identified it as super dead), grinded stumps, dug up plenty of backyard mess, cleaned up, put down rock, and more to deliver on their promise of a beautiful backyard at last. Josh was communicative, because it was winter and the weather/freeze was unpredictable, and always showed up when he said he would. And, even though the backyard is basically done, there are a few sections that he wasn't completely happy with how they turned out because of the frozen ground, so he's coming back in the spring to finish up! Seriously, between Denver Tree and Landscape and the other guys, this was by far the best option, and I'm glad I went with my gut on Josh. The level of professionalism is something that my husband says doesn't exist in the world of contractors/tradesmen/landscapers, so my hat's off to Josh, his dad, and the entire Denver Tree and Landscape crew. read more

Joshua was incredibly responsive and timely from the start. Our initial estimate was based on something we wanted but he was able to really walk us through all of our options and we ended up with something much better that really complimented our yard. I would give 10 stars if I could!! I have never been more impressed with a landscape crew. Wow! We had a difficult low spot in our yard due to grading and a tree, as well as an issue with a drain that another landscaper had installed that kept freezing up. Start to finish, everyone was so professional and Josh was so involved every step of the way to ensure that things were done to our complete satisfaction. They were very knowledgeable about what could and couldn't be done based on our particular situation, and worked around the tree as best they could. They successfully got the low area sloped away from our house, contoured around our patio with rocks, installed new sod, fixed our drain issue and installed another drain which I'm happy to report is functioning properly, relocated sprinkler heads, and did an amazing cleanup. They also returned the next day to shorten our gate to alleviate a new ground leveling concern that I hadn't wanted to address. Josh did a walk through and helped me understand why we needed to have the gate shortened to raise the ground in that spot. Every concern we had was promptly addressed and they patiently answered my endless questions. Looks very professional, our yard is so pretty to look at, and no more worries with the low spot when it rains. We do have one issue with the repaired drain (fault of our concrete company) and they are trying very hard to schedule us back in to get that fixed even though they are booked through the end of the season - I haven't had to worry about follow-up as Josh has been great about keeping us informed and setting expectations. He also gave us great advice about lawn upkeep and potential future projects. I will never have to search for a landscape company again....we are very satisified customers. I had the opportunity to use Joshua's team at Denver Tree & Landscape to significantly remake a portion of my backyard. The project involved removing trees, re-grading and conditioning soil, adding landscaping boulders and rock, re-configuring sprinkler system, and adding new trees. Through the whole process Joshua was very informative and flexible, pointing out areas where cost savings could be achieved, including the tasks that could be accomplished by myself. This allowed me to maximize the project budget and leverage the effectiveness and efficiency of his team for the things best left to the pros. With their help I was able to completely remake a significant portion of my yard and stay within a very reasonable budget. It was clear that Joshua was dedicated to finding the best solutions for me and his team was on time (early start to the day!) and very conscientious in their work.
