Great place, I would highly recommend it for toddlers. My 4 year olds lasted just under an hour so I'm not sure if this is a good option for any kids older although at the entry I was Told it was great for kids up to 6-8 Overall no complaints, it was nice - lots of colors and great music

Fun safe place for toddlers to play. Love this place. Facility is clean, staff is great.

My 4 year old has a great time there! We always buy the pass deal because it's so worth it! The workers are always cleaning and I think the equipment is in good shape. Obviously there's wear and tear, there's kids jumping all over stuff like 9 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is a height requirement: under 48 inches unless you're a sibling of a little one. Be aware of that. And to be honest, it should. This equipment is for little kids, 8 and 10 year olds are too big to playing on this kind of stuff with smaller kids. Also, it has a great area for parents to hang out and sit. It has a counter to watch them. I come here often to work while my son plays. Good free wi-fi too! They have a little snack bar that sells snacks and drinks. It does get pretty crowded on weekends and some evenings. It's the perfect size for little kids too. Not too big where you can't see them from the counter. My son always has a great time here so we're regulars! Highly recommend!

Got crazy kids? Take them to Yu Kids Island. It's the perfect place for Kids Gone Wild and allows them to burn off energy. I came here for a birthday party and it was the perfect place for toddlers. Here are some things to note: 1. Admission is $12 a child but parents are free. Discounted rate is available after 4pm. 2. Socks are required since no shoes are allowed. No socks no service. 3. The staff are very kind and helpful. They were constantly monitoring the kids or cleaning the areas to prevent germs. 4. Your kid will fall but there is plenty of padding all around. I didn't see any blood stains anywhere. 5. Watch your kids because fights can occur especially from older kids. 6. Beware of overly aggressive monsters and inattentive parents. 7. Your child will pass out afterwards from exhaustion so have a bottle of wine ready. 8. Adults with no children of their own will restock their birth control after coming to Yu Kids Island.

Great place for toddlers. Most of their equipment is ripped, unfortunately. Good for a couple of hours of play .

Ask the Community - Yu Kids Island

Which side of the mall is this the closest at?

It's by Sears

Can both parents go inside the playground at the same time with the child?

When I took my daughter here, I saw at least two families where both parents were in the play area watching/playing with their kids. I don't know the official rule, but there were definitely both parents in the play area when I was there

Keep in mind that at the most, I think you could still take your 8yo here, but 9 is pushing it for most kiddos. That could change if you bring their younger siblings. With the annual pass, you get to hang out as long as you want. I saw a mom working at the dining area while her kids ran around. Our 5yo is super happy here and she will be for many more years. The food is a little pricey as well, but it's decent quality. We got the daddy basket and it came with our choice of simply lemonade drinks. I'm also surprised that there are affordable souvenirs here with figures as low as $1.99 and mid-sized stuffies for $6.99. It's a safe environment with lots of space so you don't feel crowded. Also, plenty of places to sit and watch you kids as they explore. Bottom Line: Highly recommended for locals, slightly expensive for tourists. Worth it for fans of Peppa Pig.

Great experience here at the Peppa Pig World of Play Chicago…read more When visiting Chicago, we had to make the trek to Woodfield Mall to visit Peppa Pig World of Play for our Peppa-Pig loving 5 year-old. We were able to get tickets via the AAA discounted website for $15 for children and $6 for adults. We arrived at around 10:30am on a Tuesday morning and the place was practically empty. After scanning our tickets and getting our wrist bands, we proceeded to the play area. The play area contains multiple areas themed with different characters such as Rebecca Rabbit's Burrow, Grandpa Pig's Garden, Peppa Pig's House, Madam Gazelle's Bus, Duck Pond, and Dinosaur Dig. The interactive Muddy Puddle jumping screen was pretty cool. There is a small snack shop as well as some tables and seating nearby. The bathroom was clean at the time of our visit. While there were some stained/dirty carpet throughout the space...the rest of the space was in good condition. The staff members we encountered were welcoming and friendly. The store is a bit pricey...but what attraction-based souvenir shop isn't! While we had a great time...I can only imagine how chaotic this space would be during peak weekend times...choose your time accordingly to avoid the crowds if possible.

Because it's so popular, they use timed entries to give more families a chance to enjoy it without crowding. It's located inside the Spring Valley Nature Center, so after playtime, you can wander the trails or explore more of the natural area. A great combo of fun + learning + nature. It's a…read morepark district park, so perhaps they need the money to help maintain the park or to help with crowd control. And I'm sure there are plenty of other parks in the area that do not charge. The place was pretty packed on a Sunday morning at 10:20am, but not in an annoying way. I thought the equipment was uniquely different from your standard playground. Lots of creative equipment for sensory play. I wasn't SUPER thrilled to see the gritty sand and water (am I just super OCD or are there actually parents out there that see that at a playground they drove to that says "oh yay! Water and messy sand!"). Oh and the death trap tight rope was also a "yikes" reaction, but my kids stayed away from it, so no biggie. It was fun. I wasn't bothered by the one hour time limit (although, I don't even know if they actually kick people out because we left a little after 11am and I didn't see them trying to clear the area). But.... It was hot and I was ready to leave the park and do not mind having the backing of being able to tell my kids that the park is closing to help get them to leave.

Our son seemed to like the flying ride, but not enough to go back on a second time. He was disappointed by the other ride on the track (probably due to being a Disney kid and having high expectations). The play area and build a car were "okay" but excitement faded fast for all 5 of the kids. I would only ever take my son back if he becomes super into building Lego cars or if adults are free. Disappointing.

What a waste of time!…read more So we have passes to Legoland in Florida and with our pass one of our benefits is we get to go to all other attractions they own in America so we were like why not come here it's something new! Upon arrival we went to the front desk where their employee started off immediately telling us we can't go in because we don't have a kid which we were unaware of and that didn't really matter to us because we go to parks and attractions all over the world it's part of what we do I said this to her and she instantly started like shaming us for wanting to come here which I don't understand why as yes there are kids attractions but there's also a 4D cinema as well as a dark ride from what I can see online and those alone would be cool to experience because why not. So it does say you have to have a kid on their website where you buy tickets which is something that we didn't check because we already have a pass benefit to come here which when we bought the passes it doesn't say anywhere that you have to have a kid to come here it just has a list of attractions we can get into! That right there needs to be explained better to the point of why are we paying for benefits that we can't use? Like I said we visit and experience attractions for all ages all over the world and it was a bummer not being able to come here just for that reason alone as us seeing what their is to do here isn't hurting anyone it actually would have been in their benefit to let us experience it as we have many friends with kids in the area as well as well as those who travel to attractions all over so now when we get asked how our experience was we will let them know not to go here and by the other Yelpers reviews I can tell that it's only a matter of time until this place closes their doors along with the rest of the business dying in the area. Overall the vibe with their employee was very awkward and this whole experience was a total waste of our time!
