I went to yucca bowl a few times now and each time I've got these same marks. I was unaware they would take care of the damage because this is the first ball I bought. Until this last time I went bowling with my family and the same thing happened to my dad's ball. He brought us all to the front to show the damage and the manager said that the damage done to my ball wasn't from their bowling ally. A couple of the marks are fresh from that night and the others are consistently the same because of last time bowling here. Manager also made rude comments multiple times saying "you don't take good care of your ball" and "it looks like you threw this ball down the street" very unprofessional and uncalled for. read more

My daughter and I have been visiting Yucca Bowl and have been pleased with the clean and well-maintained atmosphere. The lanes were in great condition, and the overall environment was inviting and family-friendly. It's clear that the management puts effort into keeping the space enjoyable. However, the speed of service was *painfully* slow--like molasses on a cold day. Checking in felt longer than the pastors sermon, it took far longer than it should have. While the staff was friendly. Not sure if the individual operating the check in area is new but I've seen them working that same position for weeks now and still seems to be operating at a reduced speed, which made what should have been a fun, easy outing feel unnecessarily dragged out. The food, for what it's worth, it's *bowling alley food*--hot, but severely lacking in flavor. It does the job if you're starving, but it could definitely use some seasoning and variety to make it more enjoyable. Would I come back? Sure, but I'd plan for a wait and maybe eat beforehand. read more

Excellent service, we came here for some bowling and food. It's only $3 for the early bird bowl. They've really invested in the ambiance, with automatic bumper guards, new balls, clean, and some arcade games too. The chicken fingers were surprisingly good! We required a lot of assistance with kids, etc and they were so kind letting us start over, switch shoes 10 times and change lanes to get bumpers. read more

Been awhile since I bowled here, the current renovations look great. Prices are good and the staff were professional. They should focus on repairing and upgrading the bathrooms next. All the mens urinals were covered and not working. Also one of the faucets sprayed everywhere so it looked like I pissed all over myself. Overall fun time and would go back. read more

Review for the food service inside the bowling alley. The young fair skinned female is very rude and has poor customer service. I needed napkins (breast pumping mama here) and needed something to wipe down my pump parts. She only gave me two napkins and asked if I ordered food from them. I said no and told me to go to dominoes next door. LMAO you can't give me an extra napkin? She ended up looking snarky and gave me one more. So first off they take a shoe when you get your bowling shoes ‍ Maybe people run off with the bowling shoes?? Second, the scoring was off. Resetting all the pins before a second turn etc... they finally reset it and seemed to work after that. Third, they don't have bumpers for kids. You either have them up for everyone or down for everyone. All other bowling alleys I've been to they set them per person and go up and down as needed. Fourth, I went to vending machine to get water, it's out of order so I buy one at snack bar and ask why snacks they have but the girl was like you have to get snacks at vending machine. Ok. Got some dollars change from water purchase, go to snack machine... quarters only. Go back to snack counter ask for quarters, told to go to quarter machine way down the other way, okay... Go get quarters ($1 and $5s only just in case anyone is planning a trip and wants a snack while your there). Go back and get a snack... $1.75 for a small M&M's. And another thing... the whole entire bowling alley was being unused. They had 4-5 separate groups all bunched together at one end so you have to wait and take turns as your all squished together in the lanes with strangers. read more

There are more reasons to not go here than there are to go here. So I'll let you know the reasons to not go here first. The place smells bad, maybe because it is an old building?? The front desk ladies need to be coached on personal skills and how to talk and interact with customers. Very short with us and seem like they don't want to be there. We had two small children with us. We asked for bumpers, they put us on a lane where the bumpers didn't work. We didn't want to go ask because of how we were treated at first just buying a game. Then we had to give them our shoe to keep while we wore their shoes?? Half way through bowling, I was giving my two year old a snack. The lady came up to us and said no outside food. Like this is for my baby and your menu of fast and fried food does not work for his diet. He has allergies to things and I don't know how they cook or store their foods. Also for the kids to bowl they have the ramps for the kids to push the ball down. All of them were broken and didn't work properly, especially when you have a lane that doesn't have bumpers. Needless to say, I don't recommend this place. The only reason to go here for bowling is because there is no where else in town. read more

The bar here was one of the only good spots to get a great drink at a good price in a friendly, local atmosphere. Something changed with their staffing and now it's a negative filled experience with a bartender interrupting conversations with complaints and griping. Super uncomfortable. The bowling alley is nice. Generally great employees aside from the younger girl at the snack bar. She literally makes ordering food impossible while trying to enjoy our experience. Not once, but more than 10 times. She closes it early and gets upset if you still open and try to order before 9pm. Unsure why she always has an attitude. If you hate your job so much, find a new one? Or at least learn not to be rude to paying customers who also tip. Some of us are just trying to have a good time. read more

Okay so me and my friends were in jtree for our friends 30th bday. The pool wasn't heated and we were not gonna play pool for the 18364th time. We googled bowling and found. YUCCA BOWL At first we were like idk might not be our ~vibe~ But then we walk in and Jim totally crushed our expectations. Fun heavy pour drinks and good bowling. I was in a group of guys -only chick- and was losing. Suddenly my score turned from 0 to X. I won the game!!! Please go to this bowling alley. Kellie at the front desk has a very bad attitude towards customers and employees. I would like to see somebody who cares about the people who come to spend their money managing this place. Bad face for the business if you ask me and several others. My job now hosts our parties with 29 bowl or the Jt saloon. Very unpleasant experience anytime I have come in to spend my money here. I enjoy bowling while Sally or Renee are present if not I prefer to take my business to 29 palms bowl friendly staff and owners are around much more paying attention to their business and how their customers are treated by employees. 29 bowl is worth the drive and every penny. Pretty unfortunate though when you live 10 mins away and it could be a nice place to hangout and spend money if you weren't made to feel uncomfortable by bad attitudes. read more

If i could give this place a zero i would. It was way better before the "improvement" who designed this place really did not know what they were doing. The environment is inhospitable. Literally unbearable. The lights that they have hurt your eyes and were not pleasing but the ear damaging "music crap" that they were forcing on their customers and fellow employees was the worse. I had a anxiety attack and my ears began to pound. The "music crap" no harmony no melody . i had to flee and began to have a headache and ringing in my ears. Brought the kid and his friend here while we went out for a couple of hours so they could have some time to themselves. I wasn't impressed and as shabby as Bowladium in 29 is, I found Yucca Bowl to be far worse. It's a pretty dated alley, with a bar - of course - but no cafe when we were there. Instead there's a Dominoes next door. No fun in that. The place needs a cleaning, and the staff seemed to be pretty cool and nice. Otherwise, very empty... a ghost town. Rates are cheap, so no complaints there. read more
