She thoroughly explained every step of the appointment and genuinely cared about maintaining the integrity of my hair and keeping my blonde healthy. Erica advertises Japanese straightening, but it is actually a keratin product and not a permanent straightening. Therefore, after 5 weeks, my hair is back to where it was. $500, including tip, is too much for one month of straight hair. Erica's super nice, but wasn't up front with the brevity of how long this would last. Brazilian blowouts last in my hair for at least 5 to 6 months. Japanese straightening is a perm The hair doesn't go back to being curly, only the new growth does. This Australian treatment was a waste of money. Original Post: I have New Jersey curly hair and was tired of it being out of control, frizzy, and unmanageable. I like to get up in the morning and go! Or at least, take care of the rest of my beauty routine and not have to worry about my hair. I found THE place in Ocala for amazing hair relaxing that is actually good for the hair, no gas mask as there are NO fumes, and the sweetest lady EVER taking care of you during the six hour process. Price was half what I would have paid in Los Angeles! To be fair, in the picture I had a deep conditioning treatment prior to the before picture. Erika actually had a tougher job than what appears. Two weeks later and my hair is still steel straight and no frizz! Call her today!
