I was on a hunt for matcha since I never had it and after my volleyball game I decided to go find it. Ran into this place and it was so cute inside. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte just in case the matcha was nasty itself. I liked it, but I was a little disappointed I thought the strawberries would have been more fresh and crushed not strawberry syrup. I didn't really taste any strawberries but the matcha part was good. One other thing I didn't like is we ordered before a big group of people came in and it seemed like our order was pushed back some to serve some of those. I've been to Yumi a few times and always enjoy the drinks. My favorite is their strawberry Lemonade with the boba pearls. Sweet, refreshing, tasty, and I love chewing on the pearls in between sips. However, the last time I went, the pearls had a more crunchy texture compared to the usual chewy, gummy texture. I don't know how to describe it other than hard peas. It was crumbly. I informed the cashier and she said it's probably like that because of the way it was made that morning. I asked her to remove them because it felt a bit odd. The other lady removed the pearls and they were very nice during the interaction. Hopefully this is only a one time thing. Other than that, the drink was good. Price scam. Differences in price between what you paid and on the menu. There's no way a milk tea will cost 8.5 dollars.

My daughter and I wanted to try a new boba tea place so we looked it up and found this one. We were very pleasantly surprised by the different variations of drinks and food. I highly recommend the classic milk tea. I'm not a fan of boba but the brown sugar boba wasn't bad at all. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be back again. Would definitely recommend! Been there a couple times their recently and I'm pleased with the experience! Had a very unique and cute aesthetic about the place. The service was great as well. I'm usually a bit nervous about sounding foolish trying to order from places like this but the ladies behind the counter were very helpful in deciding what the go with. As a frequent customer of the first Yumi Boba location, I was excited to try out this location after dinner. Unfortunately they didn't live up to my expectations. The boba was way too soft and would stick together so I couldn't get any through the straw. I did come about an hour before closing so I'll give them some lenience as far as good customer service goes. It seemed that our arrival was an inconvenience to the employees. Good boba is hard to find out here in Ohio so keep walking if that's what you're looking for. I also never got my egg pudding that was an extra charge. read more

The drinks are consistently good, and I have yet to see them run out of boba like some other shops. Their food items are good but not always in stock. I'm bad with time so I sometimes show up after closing or on days they are closed. So don't be like me and check their hours. A big fan of the original on Woodman! Yumi 2 is absolutely adorable. Clean, great service, and delicious drinks. I have tried the Thai milk tea and black milk tea, as well as the cream buns but there is an extensive menu of drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful with questions.
