Bad writing for a $49 dollar cake
    Gina K.

Horrible, horrible place to get veggie cakes. Disrespectful customer service and liars. I was told to Zelle a payment for a $49 dollar cake, I was picking it up for my sister in law's daughter's birthday. I told them to write "happy birthday Eesha" and they didn't get it written professionally by a baker and this is what the lady wrote on a chocolate cake.... They rip people off and then wanted us to drive 11 mins to another location to correct their mistake.

The Bakery at this place is the best! Super quick, super efficient, and absolutely delicious. Manmeet was really helpful and gave the best experience!

    Kulcha

Ordered food from their truck sitting directly outside the front entrance. Kulcha and Papri Chaat were delicious. We had to wait a good 15 min for our order even though nobody else was waiting. People must have ordered ahead of time and then waited in their cars or called in to order. In either case be prepared to wait. Perhaps order and then go into the grocery store. Truck Food: 4 stars Grocery store I rate as a 3. It has lots of dry goods but I expected freshly baked breads and found none. The vegetable section had good looking produce but it is small so there isnt a wide variety. Grocery Store: 3.0

Today, we specifically came here for makki di roti and sarson da saag. Let me tell you, it was truly authentic, just like you get at home--actually even better--and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely return just for this because it's a rare find in this area.

Taj Supermarket, Elk Grove's International Grocery Haven! We always stop by Taj Supermarket when we visit family in Elk Grove. They have a large inventory of international goods that may not be available in other supermarkets. Many of these items come from various corners of the world. For example, you can find Indian, Pakistani, or Afghani goods and Samoan, Tongan, or Fijian products. The supermarket is spacious and well-organized. The staff are very helpful if you're having trouble finding an item or have a question. I have been mostly interested in some candies or spices that are hard to come by elsewhere, but there is a lot more there, be it edibles or other household items like pots and pans. Their prices are very reasonable, certainly more reasonable than any place I have found in San Francisco! And they are very well stocked as mentioned before. Visit them if you are in the area. They are in the same mall as Costco.

Was at Costco and decided to check out this store. I was also wanting to make Dubai chocolate and hoping they had the shredded phyllo. Unfortunately they did not but it's such a fun store to walk through. Spices are priced very reasonable. Their refrigerated/frozen section is amazing! Bought a box of samosas to fry at home. OMG, they were awesome. I also like that their shopping bag isn't plastic.

Manmeet did a great job decorating the cake and getting it ready for our holiday celebration. Polite and quick.

I regularly stop in to pick up treats, drinks, produce like mushrooms and okra, and their poke and hot meal options. I also like their home goods sections with so many cool ramen bowls, sauce containers, and utensils. I'm always excited when I stop in when it's slower because I can take my time browsing. Whenever this happens I end up leaving with a lot more items. I appreciate that they carry a wide variety of items including some ingredients and items that are hard to find in the US and even at other Asian grocery stores. I've stopped into many different stores and I feel like Oto's has variety and quality at a great price. They do have their own parking, but be careful because it can be pretty tight and there's usually a good amount of cars coming in and out.

But none of those reasons are the real reason I truly love Oto's,let me tell you what I really love.....Late last year I decided I was going to learn how to make my favorite food in the world and that is sushi.I went ham,I got the knives I got the kits,I got the rice maker,I got all the seasonings but what I didn't have was a spot to pick up the highest level of fish that was needed to really make homemade sushi pop and that is where Oto's came in to save the day. Their daily "sushi-grade" tuna and salmon that they sell in the back of the store is so next level-even a novice like myself cannot mess up a homemade sushi meal. They have so much to offer at Oto's,all the different levels of salmon and tuna, depending on your budget but all of it is amazing. I will forever be indebted to Oto's for helping me raise my sushi game at home and making my wife think that I'm just the best sushi maker-when it was always just the high quality fish offered at Oto's that did the work-Thank You Oto's for that. In closing-if you ever find yourself in the Land Park area and want to see what all the hype is about at this incredible spot or maybe you just want to try your hand at some home sushi making,be sure to stop by Oto's Marketplace-it truly is a gem amongst gems. PS....Parking sucks here-no way around that one unless u get lucky or have a handicap placard-don't like the parking.

There was plenty of parking in the lot, and we grabbed a cart and made our way inside to start browsing. Right in the front they have prepared foods with a bakery and ducks hanging up ready to be sliced up. We quickly browsed this area before heading into the regular grocery area. The grocery store is well stocked and has a good variety of each type of item, with different brands and flavors of items available. Not only do they have a good amount of shelf stable foods, but they also have an ample refrigerated/frozen section and fresh area. They even have tanks of fresh fish and fish on ice for purchase. We also noticed they had a nice selection of dishes and homegoods, as well as cooking equipment. The whole store is clean and organized and even with the fresh fish there isn't an overwhelming fish smell. They definitely have a broad selection of items and pull from different areas of Asia. While we didn't find everything we were specifically looking for, we did discover some new items that we'll be trying out. The staff members were very nice too, at checkout we earned some store rewards and the cashier was able to utilize some right away on some prepared food we were purchasing. I thought that was really kind of her.

We dumped them out and brought them in. 2 is better than none. As it turned out 99% of our items fit in those two bags. $56 gets you a lot of food, but not too much that we couldn't cart it out. The times that didn't fit was the aloe juice, rice crackers and box of lychee. I was so excited that I forget to take a picture of the box of lychee I picked up. It was I believe $7 for 1.8lbs. Expensive still even with the $1 discount off as it was regular $8. They had another variety for $2 something a pound, you but you had to buy a to more. I love fresh lychee but rarely buy it because it's usually out of season and so expensive. I want to report back that the lychee is very good. Sweet and the pits aren't too big. I'm glad I got the box. I wish it came in a recyclable paper box so I wouldn't feel as guilty about throwing it out. It came in a cute plastic basket with a lid and a handle. I'll have to find a use for it afterwards. Our main reason for coming in today was in search for salmon and a vegetable to cook for tomorrow's dinner. Mexico s playing to Moro a for the world cup and we're hosting a watch party. They had 3 cuts of salmon. We got two of the three. Steak and a thin filet. It's going to be so delicious. My husband marinates it for hours and it's so good. We got some Choy to along with it. And egg custards for dessert. We. Each got our own so we don't' have to share. The mini egg custard tars were $2.99 each or 2 for $4.99. We only bought 3, one for each of us. They have so many choy options. He wanted one more leafy when steamy. So we got a bag of the leafy kind. They were a good deal. There produce for the most part is reasonable. With the exception of their boxed fruit, that's expensive. Or it's just too much as they all will ripen at the same time and who can eat 24 mangos? One thing we are out of at home was cheddar cheese. We didn't even look to find out if they had it. The deli was closed when we arrived around 6pm. Sadly no bao for us. I was really hoping for some to take home and east as snacks for later. I looked at the ones in the freezer section ,but you need a steamer for those and I believe they are uncooked so I passed. I just wanted some so I could nuke them. We looked at the ones in the fridge section of the deli but, my husband vetoed them. We'll have to find somewhere else to get them. They had two kinds of Aloe juice with crunchy pulp. Regular and pineapple. The pineapple sounded so good, but. I'm cutting gout drinking stuff other than water in the hopes of getting. healthier and losing weight. No more empty calories. I really do like the crunchy pulp. It reminded me of boba and so much cheaper than a boba drink. Clearance section. I didn't see any outstanding deals. I was so disappointed as my parents always find the amazing deals on those shelves. We totally scored on parking. We got the first spot. We had to drive down to the next isle, but abt was ok, it was closer to the front door. There really is plenty of parking as they have a whole shopping center they share parking with. Carts. Unlike Raley's they have plenty of carts. There is no shortage. I love it. Without shopping carts it's difficult to do all the necessary shopping. Thank you 99 Ranch. Thought we spend more money, we still are saving money compared to other stores.

The hot foods is the best you can get for the price. They have several catering options as well. Must order prior and pay prior to day of for pick up. The lady at the hot foods place is super nice! Be forewarned, if you're rude, she'll be rude right back (I witnessed it myself, though fortunately was not on the receiving end). They have quite a variety of produce, frozen items, drinks, alcohol, meat, etc as well. The ice cream section is pretty stacked! Lots of the trending ice cream and popsicles. My pick for hot foods is the Roasted Pig (they sell a whole one by preordering or they also have smaller options to buy just for lunch), Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings, and Salt & Pepper Shrimp. The fried rice needs a bit of soy sauce, but it's pretty decent on its own. I would not choose the Spare Ribs. It's a little dry in my opinion. The eggrolls was crispy, but lacked flavor. The chow mein is edible. Not bad, but nothing to brag about. Again, add soy sauce. What I really like about this place is that everything is not too salty like most other Chinese spots I've been to. I like that you can add soy sauce to enhance the flavor, but it's not already on there so I can enjoy it as well as my children and parents (who prefer more bland food). This was not our first time here and will not be our last.
