They were also so kind to give me a complimentary glass of prosecco to celebrate my birthday. Wednesdays are $2 off all cider and wines so my friends enjoyed that deal as well. The Wedge changes their menu on a weekly basis so I was excited to see what was on this weeks menu so naturally we had to get multiple dishes to share in order to try as much as possible. We ordered two pasta dishes, truffle fries for the table, and brussel sprouts to share family style and we didn't leave a crumb behind! All the dishes were more unique than a typical pasta dish you may find elsewhere which was extra fun and soo delicious! The brussels were so soft and topped with so much flavor. I would love to come again to try their brunch menu and continue coming throughout the year to try many new items as their menu rotates. I really wanted to try their mac and cheese so I am determined to come back at the right time for that one!

Drinks and food was being prepared and served in the core lounge instead and it was a mess to say the least. It took 30-40 minutes for our food to come out and when the Brie board first came out of the kitchen it was sat on the counter for another 10 minutes, leaving the Brie to have a film over the top and was no longer soft. The flatbread was a disappointment, there was no sauce on the pizza and it was just way too bland for the price.... The service was extremely slow with 3 people working and all the customers in the lounge seemed to be sitting around in the same situation that I was in. Won't be coming back...

The atmosphere was relaxing with each level and their own vibes. We checked out the coffee lounge first and got espresso martini and chatted. The decor was a homey feel and I can see myself coming back meeting up with friends for coffee and catching up. Then we headed to the speakeasy and had the seasonal cocktails and just ordered salads and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The salads and fries were simple and I like my "girl dinner" lol. I was told to come back for their brunch so that's on the list. The atmosphere and vibes were cozy, a great place to unwind and catch up or like us celebrate a special occasion. Both service in the coffee lounge and speakeasy were welcoming. I see that they host tons of events so I'll definitely have to check those out. Also can't wait to check out the rooftop lounge once they warmer weather returns. They are utilizing the space with bubble tents with reservations, so that's a fun idea. A cute and fun spot on Tipp hill to definitely check out.

I had the pleasure of returning to Touché for a second visit on Saturday evening, and once again,…read morethe experience was exceptional. It's not uncommon for a new restaurant to impress the first time, only to fall short on subsequent visits. Touché, however, proves to be a welcome exception. Their continued commitment to quality, creativity, and classic French influences remains evident in every aspect of the dining experience. Several days before our reservation, I received a courteous text from the charming and attentive hostess, Bridgette, requesting details about the members of my dining party, including names and dietary restrictions. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by name and seated at a table adorned with a personalized name card--an unnecessary but thoughtful and memorable gesture that set the tone for the evening. I selected the very reasonably priced three‑course prix fixe menu ($70), while the rest of my party opted for the Steak Frites. My starter, a colossal scallop, was beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. While the nettle purée could have used a touch more vibrancy, it still complemented the bright yuzu dressing well. The main course--a perfectly cooked half duck breast accompanied by roasted celeriac purée and a currant‑cassis jus--was a standout. The deep berry notes paired beautifully with the richly rendered duck fat. Although I typically gravitate toward savory dishes, the dessert was an impressive finale: a Sablé Breton with blood orange cream, thyme Chantilly, thyme jam, and a rocher of coffee ice cream. The combination of sweet, salty, and herbaceous elements was wonderfully balanced and thoroughly enjoyable. I was fortunate enough to try a few bites of the Steak Frites, which did not disappoint--nor did it for the other members of my party. Our meals were complemented by excellent cocktails from the well‑stocked bar. The bartender was knowledgeable, skilled, and engaging. The open‑concept kitchen is also a delight to observe, and I look forward to reserving a seat at the chef's table on my next visit. One of the ongoing challenges in the Syracuse dining scene, in my opinion, is a general lack of restraint. Touché distinguishes itself with its thoughtful menu design, technical precision, and appropriate portion sizes. We left feeling thoroughly attended to and perfectly satiated. I sincerely hope Touché continues its pursuit of excellence both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Syracuse needs restaurants of this caliber, and I eagerly anticipate their spring and summer menus.

The steak and eggs, finished with a rich hollandaise, were perfectly executed--the steak was tender and cooked just right, while the sauce added a smooth, buttery depth without overpowering the dish. The shrimp and grits in chorizo sauce were equally impressive, with a savory, slightly smoky kick that elevated the creamy grits and complemented the shrimp beautifully. To round it out, the brioche with vanilla custard was the perfect finish--soft, lightly sweet, and indulgent without being too heavy. Overall, the flavors were layered, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. This is the kind of brunch that keeps you thinking about it long after you've left.

TPOH nailed it: "Speaking of hearing, I can't take too much loud music I mean I like to play it, but I sure don't like the racket" I'm starting here, with the vibe, which sets the scene, dig? Decor-wise, it's luxe lounge, and is a welcome surprise in the Salt City. We use Resy, and...either the hostess misheard our party size, didn't really care, didn't really doublecheck to read our actual reservation, or whatever man, that's just your opinion. So, the backroom might have been a bit better suited for us olds, we were ushered into the front room. Not the window, but pretty darn close. Again, fun for people watching, inside and out. But damn it kids, if you have a DJ, I want to talk to Sir Vibes A Lot and ask them how they think thumping house music actually aids in digestion? Maybe I unconsciously started chewing to the unrelenting 4/4 beat, anything's possible. Now onto the menu, and back to the identity crisis. Like a lot of places, the York has a broad spectrum of offerings. Burger. Nashville Hot. Multiple pasta options. Sure, sure, sure. The porkchop with kimchi fried rice was the clear winner, hands down. The chicken, mashed and greens took second place (but I'll give ya a pro tip chef: the longer you cook your greens, the better they are). The salmon was a distant third because everything bagel seasoning is a lot after a while, and the veg was uninspired. Our TL:DR recommendation is come for cocktails and poutine. The poutine satisfied by itself. Our server was great- thanks, Destiny!

For drinks they have a good selection of beers on tap, usually 10-20, from local and national breweries. The server offered me a sample before I fully committed on a beer I had a question about and I appreciated being able to try it before committing to a full glass. The Evergreen's menu itself is accessed through a QR code where their full list of options and specials are listed. My group opted to share the beer fries and they were taaaasty, pillowy soft, crunchy, and amazingly well seasoned. The vegetarian options are a regular part of the restaurant and the fried tofu I had was genuinely satisfying and well done. My cajun pasta was maybe a touch over but I was okay with it since it had my condiment obsession of chili crisp in it. The menu is well marked for dietary needs. A great thing of note is that they have women's, men's, AND an all-gender bathroom. I appreciate the inclusion in the food and restaurant itself. Car parking is street parking, it's accessible via the Centro bus system, and there is an artistic broken-chain shaoed bike rack just across the street from the restaurant. My partner and I chose to split the herb fries, burnt end chicharrones, and the brussels. I thought the herb fries were delightfully crisp with great flavor. The sweet & spicy smokey sauce that was provided with it was a bit tangy. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me! You'll definitely have to taste it for yourself. The burnt end chicharrones left more to be desired. Both my partner and I thought they were dry and not tender. Also, there was something about the flavor that we did not care for. I absolutely love burnt ends from BBQ joints, and this was the first time we've ordered chicharrones so I don't have something to compare them to, but I'd suggest trying them elsewhere. As for the brussels, when we first got to the restaurant our friends were sharing them. We tried one bite and knew we had order a whole plate for ourselves! They were literally the best brussel sprouts we've ever had. The roasted garlic aioli and grana cheese were topped on perfectly cooked brussels which I would go back for. I highly suggest checking out The Evergreen, go through their beer menu, and find a new favorite plate.
