I stopped by to Yummy Donuts & Croissants yesterday to pick up some donuts to take to my veterinarian's office as a thank you for taking such good care of my fur-children. I believe I stopped by around approximately 3pm right after finishing work and I had never been here before. The store was along my drive and I saw it on the TooGoodToGo app so I ordered one deluxe box not knowing what to expect. Upon arrival I easily found parking, the parking spots are a little tight on the row by the street and larger on the row by the stores. The storekeeper was very friendly and I showed him the app and he went to the back to prepare my box. The shop smelled beautifully of fresh donuts, and the display case had a variety to choose from, and some super cute donuts that looked like little faces. Everything was clean and bright and there were even some tables inside to sit. When my box arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the variety. By the time it was time to pick up my dog from the vet's office it was already 6pm, but the donuts still smelled nice and fresh in the box. The staff were super happy to get the donuts and said it was a good pick me up at the end of a long day. I will definitely be back to try more donut flavors soon! read more

I stopped by this donut shop this morning after I went to put gas in my wife car. I drove by this donut shop so many times because I live in the area but never took the opportunity to try them until this morning. I came in the early morning so I was able to find parking right in front of the shop. If you come later on then it will be tough to find parking in the small lot this place is in. When I walked inside, a lady working greeted me and started asking if I wanted something to drink or ordering food. I told her I was looking at their donuts on display since I didn't see any bagel. I went with the glazed donut, chocolate glazed donut and long John donut. After I ordered the donuts, I saw the bagels on the top of the counter so I ordered more stuff. I got my wife her jalapeno cheese bagel, asked for it to be toasted and the cream cheese on the side. I wanted a blueberry bagel but they didn't have any so I ended my order there. If you pay by credit card then there a fee for that. It's not too bad but something to be aware of. They had a decent amount of drinks selection with boba and food as well but I just stuck with the donut and bagel. They don't fill your coffee to the top, you have to tell them to fill it up. They won't bag your donuts in small paper bags individually, you have to tell them too. They charge you a fee to pay with debit/credit card . 50 cents for a $1.50 donut. lol They don't give you creamers for your coffee, you have to pay for them. Little tiny creamers that are free everywhere else that sells coffee lol Very difficult to exit parking lot, Osborn very congested in the morning, dangerous to exit lot. read more

I ordered two deluxe boxes from TooGoodToGo and the boxes were packed fresh from donuts in the display case. I received decorated doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, glazed, sugar, and chocolate doughnuts and plenty of donut holes! Staff was polite and assembled the boxes quickly. I didn't mean to go here but I definitely don't regret it. We went because my friend wanted the restaurant next door; But, my bf and I ended up going into the shop for croissants. Because of COVID, we waited in the car so that he could attend to the other customers. When they were ready, he brought them out to us. It was really sweet and the croissants were delicious! I was picking up a friend, to give her a ride to work one day, and found myself running a few minutes early, so I thought to myself, "Self... what you need is some coffee" I spotted Yummy donuts in the strip mall and decided what the hell, even though many little donut stands have awful coffee, anything would do at that moment. I ordered a Vanilla Cappuccino and surprisingly it was quite good... and less expensive than my beloved Starbucks. Even though there were quite a few people ahead of me, I got my coffee pretty quick and the folks were very pleasant. I will definitely stop by there again the next time I am in the neighborhood. Family run business. Small shop but don't let that fool you! The owner, a little asian lady (please forgive my ignorance) always helps me and knows me on a first name basis. They are quick and efficient in getting the items that I pick out so that I can be on my way. The parking lot is usually not that full either so it's easy to go in and out. The strip mall that they are in is not the most pleasing to the eye, but their donuts, croissants and drinks are always fresh. read more

I am a loyal customer at this donut shop faithfully for a very long time. The coffee is really good here the donuts and everything else here. They have a new lady working here who does not need to be employed here. Reason is a few weeks ago i was prepping my coffee was not done ordering my food and she was already charging me I told her hold on I'm not done. She might of gotten offended but the truth is I was not ordering. Every day I still go in there and it so happens i have not had the opportunity to ask her for anything cause there is usually someone else there. Well today I order a coffee from the guy I sat down and decided to get a donut so I stood up went to the counter and asked the lady for a donut and she ignored me I asked her again and she ignored me and stood there and when someone walked in she asked them what they wanted. My friends and I, highly excitable tourists from WI, stopped in here one morning in Dec 2010 after going to see/photograph the house from Back To The Future (filming location) nearby. This place is located in a very gritty and grungy strip mall and is run by an old asian woman (probably Chinese), in the midst of a very Mexican neighborhood. So the 6 of us traipsed in there and ordered a cornucopia of doughnuts, croissants and juice/drinks. The seating inside was very limited and spartan. I am not sure what happened, but Mookie claimed he never got his ham and cheese croissant! This led to much hemming and hawing, but luckily it did not escalate. It's entirely possible that A) he was too busy horsing around and forgot to take the croissant when she gave it to him, in which case someone else grabbed it, or B) that she, being overworked, forgot to make it and charged us for it anyway. But this woman did act in good faith: when we went back for a second round, she threw in a few free doughnut holes. Were the dougnhuts and croissants actually "yummy?" I guess they weren't bad. Nothing is as good as Paielli's in Kenosha, WI. Anyway, we all get a kick of out remembering this incident, which henceforth became known as "The Dispute" Mookie had with the doughnut lady. read more

This shop is gross. The recipe they use to make the actual donut is good. But the recipe used to make the glazes and toppings is just plain disgusting. I can taste that they melt a bunch of nasty unfavorable candies and dilute it with water or milk and use that as glaze. The chocolate glaze is literally Melted TOOTSIE ROLLS! Sometimes they dilute it enough that you can't taste it but then the color is all off and looks caramel when it's supposed to be chocolate. Sometimes they don't dilute it enough and it looks nice and dark but then it just tastes like pure tootsie rolls ugghhh. The regular white glaze is also made from melted candies though I haven't been able to pinpoint exactly which one, but when they don't dilute it enough you can taste the intense sticky processed sugars from some kind of taffy candy it's really disgusting do not come here for donuts! It's cheaper than a lot of other donut shops but for the trash quality that it is, you still feel like you're getting ripped off! Literally any other shop is better read more
