I stopped by Jelly Donut on a Sunday afternoon around 2 PM on Easter and I was honestly surprised they were still open. I went in craving a ham and cheese croissant and ended up finding one of the best I've had in a long time. The croissant was beautiful even though I didn't take a picture, I wish I had. After heating it up at home, it had a slightly crisp, firm exterior with a soft, flaky inside. It wasn't overly greasy or falling apart just really well made and full of flavor. I planned to eat half... but ended up finishing the whole thing. The staff was super friendly, and you can tell it's a family-run spot. I've actually seen them opening as early as 3 AM when I'm heading out for work, so the dedication is real and it shows in the quality. Definitely coming back. read more

This was my second visit to this location. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The guy who helped me was very nice and friendly. They have a variety of donuts, coffee and sandwiches. Their donuts are reasonably priced. I got it a jelly donut which was $2.25. There is seating inside, if you like to enjoy your donut or sandwich there. There is no outside dining area. Sometimes I just feel like having a good donut and I like to go to a place where it's a guarantee that the donuts are going to be good. Still giving us fresh, great tasting donuts in 2025 is The Jelly Donut! When I was growing up in Carson back in the 80's, we had this donut shop that was inside of the Boy's Market Grocery Store. You could stand outside of the walk up window and watch them being made and get them as soon as they came up out of the grease. This place gives me those nostalgic vibes and they are always so kind here, I am sure it is not just me but they always give me an extra donut or two with my order. Service with a smile and an extra good and sweet bite, you can't ask for more than that and you can't go wrong here. I got a ham croissant sandwich and it was huge ($8.50, the image only shows half of the sandwich) and delicious with lots of topping options like lettuce,tomato, avocado, etc. They also have lots of drinks options like energy drinks, milk, juice, etc and I think they're all 2.50.
