Great customer service. There were 2 ladies helping out customers in which most of the customers there were regulars since the ladies knew them. They also knew what they would normally order. Growing up eating Winchell's donuts, this location just brought back many memories. Located in a small shopping center on the corner of Brand Blvd and Laurel Canyon Blvd. Small parking lot but was able to find a spot quickly in the morning. Even though the place was half full, the service was quick. The donuts are now $2.50 / each. To my surprise, they now serve breakfast burritos, bagels, and sandwiches. They have combos available. They also have hot sandwiches, hot tortas, and melts. They have cold sandwiches, cold tortas, and wraps. As for drinks, its no longer just hot coffee, juice, and sodas. Now they have chillas (blended ice), iced coffee, raspados, sodas, cold drinks, fresh juice, and liquados. WOW! Even though half of the tables were occupied, the ambiance was relax and quiet. I just had the most delicious turkey sandwich on a croissant. With plenty of mayo, a bit of mustard , a good amount of what seemed to me as freshly carved turkey breast, cheese, lettuce tomato and onion... but wheat really put that sandwich over the top was the crisp cucumber and delicious avocado. What do you mean you don't know what a maple long john is, and you were ready to say, "we don't have that" until I said the long bar doughnut. Why do you get upset asking what flavor after I had already said maple. And why do you exasperate and sigh after asking how many when i had literally said, "One maple long john" in the beginning and why do you roll your eyes and shake your head getting it.
