I've driven by this place many times, but never thought to stop. Finally I was in a doughnut mood, so I said hey let's do a try! They have many unique flavors of donuts. And the donuts are a decent size for the price. The donuts were fine. They weren't anything out of this world for us. They were very sweet, the icing on them was a bit much for us. We tend to like a more subtle, I think with our donuts. But they weren't bad at all. We were able to go up and grab our donuts quickly. However, after us a small line formed. Located in the back of the hut is a small parking lot. I stopped by before work to pick up some donuts and was pleasantly surprised by their selection. They have all the classic donut flavors and then some Asian inspired ones. Matcha, Thai tea, coconut, and some other ones that were sold out when I arrived. They also have giant sized donuts too! WOW!!! can I just say !!!! been here ac pills times already and it hasn't disappointed. those raspberry butterflies are my achilles heel. The breakfast sandwich was filling and I even got a tiger tail to try and it was delicious! great price and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is my second time here and I will say this is my favorite donut shop. The donuts - at least every time I purchased - were fresh and so tasty. The hits for me were the blueberry fritter, the blueberry old fashioned and the butter milk bars. I can't get enough! Literally so soft and melts in your mouth. Doughnuts made fresh daily! If you go around 7pm you can watch them being made through the window and buy one fresh out of the hot delicious, I'm sure it's not so healthy oil. Tnis neighborhood doughnut shop stands on Magnolia. It specializes in hand crafted sugary treats, sandwiches and drinks. The walk up window allows full view on the goods. I went with the extra large apple fritter. Its big enough to share. Nobody has any business eating it alone. The monsterous treat is fried then glazed like any other fritter. It was very good. Stopped by for a late treat! During National Donut Day we went to quite a few donut shops but just missed this one! We wanted to see the hubbub. There's an ATM and ostensibly "cash only" but now they have Square for a $0.50 surcharge. Luckily we still carried cash. We got an apple fritter and a raised donut. The fritter was tasty and has the right spiced crunch. The raised donut was a little more bready I guess, but it wasn't stale but still good and moist. I stumbled across Doughnut Hut about seven years ago whilst waiting for a vehicle repair down the street. These days I'll ride my motorcycle over sixty miles each way to drop in. This is LA soul food of the highest order. The location is standalone in a small building with a couple of parking spaces behind, and with two picnic tables on each side so there's normally at least a bit of shade available. It's as noisy as you'd expect from an outdoor spot on a busy street, but you can still have a phone conversation there without issue. The veritable vista of classic and cakey sugary goodness on display in the front window is a proper treat for the eyes, although the inability you'll encounter if trying to 'pick just one' is maybe not the best for the waistline. Combine a couple or three donuts with their extravagantly large Thai Iced Coffee for peak Cornholio levels of sugary caffeination. Just watch the speedometer on the way home... The staff are great too. Last time I visited they charged my phone for me, and they'll give you great recommendations if your own indecision becomes too great to overcome. read more

They have the display everyone picks from but they also have the "cart" that is filled with specialty items! Their Ham & Cheese Croissant is WOW!! Their Buttermilk Bars - are super crunchy and delicious. The Twists are yummy! They change their oil quite frequently or you would taste a stale finish to your donuts. The donuts always taste fresh. Their Glazed Blueberry Donuts are also outrageous. The cinnamon rolls are huge and spicy with cinnamon. The service is always with a smile. Let's get something out of the way right now: I don't do trendy donuts or cronuts or Cheerios on donuts or whatever. I do normal donuts, the kind those of us of a certain age grew up with. K's Donuts in Sherman Oaks is the best of them, but Doughnut Hut is also great and right up there with it. Everything else in the Valley is just a disappointment, donut-wise. Doughnut Hut has great authentic donuts - you know, glazed, chocolate, apple fritters, chocolate buttermilk bars, jelly-filled, etc. Always fresh, always tasty, you can't really go wrong. Doughnut hut, my beloved. I may not be able to write an unbiased review about this place so take my words with a grain of salt. One of my favorite spots in Burbank that I hope is around forever. What's not to love about a 24hr donut shop that also has amazing Thai tea and Thai iced coffee? If you're hungry, they also have bagel sandwiches and croissants filled with ham or cheese. I love their wide selection of donuts and the occasional new flavor, although I wish they experimented a little more with new flavors more often. As for the service, I've never had an issue here. Everyone that works here is attentive and friendly. They have a few small tables if you want to sit and drink your coffee and eat your donut there. Parking is not usually an issue either, as there is ample street parking around. While their Thai iced coffee is delicious, it is very sweet so be prepared for that if you get it . Coffee is the one place that I think they can improve on, specifically their iced coffee (not their Thai iced coffee). The couple times I've gotten just a regular iced coffee, it's been really bitter and I've struggled to drink it. Now if I'm not craving a Thai tea or Thai iced coffee, I usually just grab coffee from a nearby cafe and come have a donut or a croissant here. If they fixed this, DH would be a 20/10 for me. read more

Since then I've been on the hunt for the next best spot, and Donut Hut came up a few times when I searched online. Probably one of the better decisions I've made as of late lol. DAN helped me out, there was another guy working too. Several racks on racks on racks of all different types of donuts. All freshly made and the oldest donuts are from that same afternoon, meaning they're consistently cycling through and having new ones put out. I got a variety dozen, but as you may know, a regular glazed is a great way to scope out how a donut place is. Theirs was very fresh, fluffy, light, and didn't leave any aftertaste of old oil or anything that you might get at other places (like that kind of "too much" feeling after eating it). Same with the "heavier" donuts. Some were on the almost too sweet side though. During the day Magnolia Blvd can get hectic and you might miss it. It's literally a hut/shack true to its name, right on the corner with bright yellow/red colors and sign. There's a very small parking lot in the back with maybe 4 spots. There's street parking too, but you could just keep your hazards on while you grab some. Definitely coming back to try their other options... and there are a LOT! A good place for a sweet tooth fix! My wife and I were driving by on the way to checking out a movie and stopped by. I tried the maple bacon donut and she had a green tea with black sesame donut. The donut supply was a little low at the time, with only a few available options. I guess as the night goes on, they tend to have less available. We definitely liked the flavor of both and I particularly liked the maple bacon. They're a little pricier than I expected, with the 2 donuts running us almost 10 bucks, which was unexpected. I would ask that the restaurant include pricing for their donuts in a way that's visible going forward. The service was good and there was no line at the time. First time trying Doughnut Hut and I had a really nice experience. They have a small parking lot with a few tables to eat at and there's lots of street parking in the surrounding area as well. They have a large window display where you can see all the doughnut flavors to choose from and they accept cash as well as card in terms of payment. I tried the Thai Tea with Black Sesame doughnut and it definitely tasted like Thai Tea plus the doughnut was still so soft and fresh even though I went in the afternoon.
