Let's start with the mojito that came with such a large piece of sugar cane. It was so good! The waiter recommended my meal and it was delicious. The meat was tender and well seasoned. It also came with beans and rice. One meal was probably enough for two people! The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the outdoor mall near some neat shops. I loved the restaurant decor and everyone was so friendly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave great menu recommendations. The staff was attentive, stopping by to refill our water and clear plates. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The server was a bit disappointing though she warmed up during the meal. Just came across as aloof and wasn't overly helpful when I shared that we wanted a variety of their best dishes. We ordered the boniato al carbon appetizer which really is a must try. The charcoal on a sweet potato just hits. Balances out the sweetness perfectly. The Ropa Vieja is good - not great. The black beans and rice however were perfect and they balanced out everything we ate. The Cuban sandwich was what you'd want/expect it to be. Very nice The Cuban Fried Rice was the favorite dish for all of us. Everything in it was authentic and well done. What I appreciate about the food here is that nothing is over seasoned. I absolutely love spice but Cuban food isn't that. The food speaks for itself and they stay true to that

Order a sandwich here and you're gonna be hungry for sure because they are great portions and they taste old school like the Milano queen you were a kid and also the Cuban sandwich with the pickle taste wow. But they have great dishes I mean from the seafood platters to the Roja pita you're my goodness they're so good. Of course they are the king and Palomilla with the tennis sandwich or whether you're eating it with rice and beans wow and good masa de de purr o desserts, lord, I think of every dessert that capacity think of from pastries that are Cuban to the Cakes like flan and tres leches this place is amazing. My favorite thing to eat here when I come are the Cortas please ask for them to be hot. They are really delicious. Of course they do have everything else you can think of. I mean their list of sandwiches and their menu is impressive great portions great service. The girls here were really hard. It's a great place legendary

Her customer service and attention to detail was awesome, ensuring she stopped by multiple times throughout to top off water and check on my experience. I went with the grilled Chicken breast and double side of tostones which tasted fantastic. Of note, I covered the tostones in the garlic like sauce while they were hot, which rendered them a fine combo of crunchy and somewhat soft- in short, awesome. Personally, no meal is finished without some form of coffee at the end. I admit this habit stems from my upbringing and a penchant for American, French and Italian fare but this was no different. I enjoyed a Cortadito which tasted amazing and had beautiful presentation. If I could rate this experience 6 stars I would. They knocked it out of the park. Note: They're FIU student, police and county friendly to boot.

The provoleta con chorizo is a must-order. The pulpo a la plancha is another standout: perfectly tender with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. I've tried several of their steaks and can honestly recommend all of them -- the quality is consistent across the board. If you're in Miami and craving good Argentine flavors in a relaxed setting, Fiorito delivers. Highly recommend.

Wonderful, old restaurant with the BEST meat!…read more The restaurant is small- more seating outside. The parking lot is non-existent, so you try to find parking on the street and not get towed, or you pay $10 for valet. We were a party of 4. We were sat immediately on a Thursday night at 7pm. It continued to get busier as the night went on. The ladies split a bottle of a white blend. It was delicious. The men each had a glass of Malbec. We ordered the Procuitto and burrata salad as an appetizer. It was huge. Perfect to split amongst the 4 of us. We also ordered the beef empanada to share. It was really good! They brought out some warm bread with butter and tomatoes. For dinner we all ordered the Vacio, except my daughter ordered the gnocchi with braised beef. We were enjoying everything so much that I didn't take pictures before we were almost finished eating. Everything was amazing! The steak was so tender! Cooked to perfection! Very tasty. We asked for some chimichurri and they brought us some small (2 tablespoons) cups of it. I had the roasted potatoes on the side. My husband had the fries. You could tell that the fries were handmade. For dessert we shared the panqueque with dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream. It was really good! The service was great. Plenty of people waiting on you, refilling your water, and checking on you. I look forward to returning again.

We always go to Chilis but it was packed so we walked down and heard the awesome live Cuban salsa music and decided to stop at La Cañita. We sat at the bar next to where the group was playing music. I ordered their signature La Cañita drink and my boyfriend ordered a margarita. We decided to share their lechón asado. The bartender was very nice and he explained the menu to us very well. The live music was awesome and had me dancing in my chair. The lechón was delicious and came with boiled yucca and fried chicharrón pieces. I definitely would like to come back and try their other menu items the next time we come to a Heat game.

We visited last week while my husband and I were in Miami for a little getaway, and I wanted to…read moretake a moment to share our experience. The food was pretty good overall. I had the conch fritters and an arugula salad. The salad was fresh and delicious--a 10/10. The conch fritters were about a 5/10 for me. My husband had the oxtail with white rice, beans, and what I believe were plantains. He practically cleaned his plate and said he really enjoyed it, so that was a 10/10 from him. We also had spirit-free drinks, which were also good. Our server, Chris, was pleasant and accommodating without being overbearing, which we appreciated. The establishment was clean, and the ambiance was cool. Unfortunately, the overall experience was affected by the energy we encountered from a couple of staff members. The host who greeted and seated us came across as particularly cold. She also made a comment to someone that my husband could not hear, but the tone and energy of the interaction made us uncomfortable. Shortly afterward, another server approached us asking if we had been helped. When I explained that we had just arrived, his expression and demeanor also struck me as somewhat dismissive. Thankfully, Chris came over shortly after, and the energy immediately shifted. I can't speak to anyone's personal beliefs or intentions, and I don't want to assume what was behind these interactions. However, as a Black woman and an educator, I am very aware of how race, perception, and social identity can influence interactions between strangers. Unfortunately, I left feeling as though we were being viewed or treated differently, and that made it difficult to enjoy the experience fully. It was clear they were the Votaré por Donald Trump, type. To speak plain, self hating LatinX people who hold prejudice over other people of color. Plain ignorant and miserable haciendo sus trabajos modestos! It's also worth noting that the host's political expression was very apparent, which I found particularly interesting given that she was the first person guests encounter. Whatever someone's political beliefs may be, I believe that anyone working in a customer-facing role should make every guest feel welcomed and respected. Overall, the food was good, Chris was wonderful, and the space itself was nice. But hospitality is about more than food and decor; it is also about how people feel when they walk through the door. I hope the owners take that part of the guest experience seriously, because no restaurant benefits when customers leave feeling unwelcome.
