I was on the fence about writing this review, but I've really had such a bad experience with my recent service that I feel the need to share. This past Sunday I received a lash perm and tint service here, my first time receiving this service ever. Upon arriving, I received no consultation or discussion at all. I was instructed to sit down, I expressed I have never received this service before, but there was still no conversation about what to expect. I wasn't told how the service would take place or how long the service would be, and it was LONG. The person performing my service was also working on someone else at the same time. Towards the end of my service, maybe the last 5-10 minutes, she adjusted my under eye pads and then immediately my eyes started BURNING horribly, both eyes, which was really painful and really scary obviously because I didn't know what just got into my eyes. I told her I was experiencing burning, she pulled everything off my eyes and rinsed them out with saline solution, which helped. She patted me dry and showed me my wet lashes in a mirror. I sat up to leave, there was zero conversation about after care instructions or protocol, and I also wasn't asked to pay. I put a card down on file when I made the appointment, so I wasn't sure how payment would take place, I had to voice the conversation with the stylist. It would've been nice to receive some instructions from the staff throughout this entire process. The dye used to tint my lashes also got all over my upper and lower eyelids, so for this last week I've had black/gray discoloration on my eyes that will not wash off despite exhaustive efforts. Aside from the burning and eye lid staining, the truly worst part is my eye lashes are SO permed and curled, that they form a full circle and curl back into themselves, touching my upper eyelid. My eyelashes curl all the way back into the crease of my eyelid, so it pretty much looks like I have super short eyelashes. I've tried to get the lashes wet with water and with oil to see if I can relax the perm, but with no luck, they still look the same. I'm hoping that this result does not last the full 4-6 weeks as advertised, because it looks really horrible and I just feel like I wasted my money. It seems like this salon does really well with eye lash extensions, so if that's what you are booking then it seems like you'll be happy with the result provided, but I definitely cannot recommend booking a lash lift and tint at this studio. read more
