I had eaten at Yvette's some years ago and last year picked up lobster rolls to go. Lobster Rolls are filled with lobster meat and cost $25. Now the reason I took away a star mainly has to do with a Stone Harbor law that they are a 'no straw' town. I asked for iced tea in a to-go cup and instead was provided a heavy glass that I found difficult to sip from. If Stone Harbor doesn't allow straws then please offer an easy to sip from drinking cup. Now to the food. Frankly I feel it needs seasoning , and I generously salt and peppered a side of tasty potato salad. I found the lobster could also do with a good shake of Old Bay. Never the less it is a sweet place to eat some unique fare and there is some extra seating in the outer hallway area. Our server was efficient and friendly. The food was prepared quickly. The price point is in line with tourist local fare. Definately a place to grab a lovely bite of lunch.

What a hidden gem! This cute little French inspired restaurant is set back in an indoor walkway and it's incredible! The people were lovely and the sandwiches were fantastic to take to the beach. Don't leave without grabbing the number 12: French brie, organic spinach, tomatoes, pepperoncini peppers w/special dressing on grilled focaccia. Seriously you will not regret the focaccia! Either eat both halves and be full all day or share with a friend! :)

They added breakfast this year. Excellent. We have been ordering French toast, omelette, bagel etc. omelette is not oily, very light but yummy. I like a lot. Attached is the French toast. Lunch of courses is always fantastic.

The food is phenomenal. The strawberry shrimp salad had the most incredible cheese, light dressing with protein and fruits. The lobster roll had the right amount of dressing (i don't like too much mayo so it was absolutely perfect for me). The unsweetened raspberry iced tea was out of this world. My mom and I were walking around and stumbled upon this great spot hidden away on 97th. The atmosphere is cozy and local, not a big show. This place feels like somebody's passion project come to life. The server was very attentive and informative, this will be a great tradition for years to come.

I needed to pick up a fast lunch, and decided I would finally try out Yvette's Cafe! They were pretty busy and the restaurant was packed, but the worker still managed to direct me over to their Take-out window (which is a tiny side room). I got their Roast Beef sandwich. It was okay, but it was not worth $17 dollars. The sandwich looks like (see photo) it's absolutely packed with meat, right? It's not. Underneath that meat is literally a salad's worth of arugula. I knew there was arugula in the sandwich, but I didn't realize there would be so much I would feel like I was eating a grass sandwich for a moment. There were barely any caramelized onions, but the lemon mayo was decent. The roast beef was only okay quality, and I noticed the edge of one of the pieces had that rainbow sheen on it which means it's starting to go bad. The bread was also okay, but it was almost all crust, so it was very crunchy. Again, not worth $17 in the slightest. Maybe they have something else on their menu that's amazing, but it's not the Roast Beef sandwich.

Expectations were high because I had read all the positive reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Very sorry to say that I wish I had been coming here for years. It will now become a tradition. Kimberly was our server and simply a delight. She was attentive and knew the menu inside out. My son was torn between two sandwiches and she gave him some helpful advice. I ordered the #3 it was fresh figs, goat cheese, arugula, caramelized onions on french bread. It was so delicious. My mom ordered the Asian pear and strawberry sandwich w greens. She was very pleased w hers and I was equally pleased with mine. My sandwich was 12$ you can add chips, or coleslaw for 1$ up charge. They don't take lunch reservations but do take dinner reservations. They accept credit cards.

I am an extremely frequent Yvette's customer. I order for pickup about 1-2 times a week from May to the end of August for probably 7 years now. I've tried many of their sandwiches and love them. One of my favorites is the Reuben. However, today my Reuben looked much different than it has every other time. I'm not sure if it's different meat, or if it was cooked differently considering corned beef is usually red and not brown. I called to ask if there was anything changed recently and explained that my sandwich looked different in the past, but the owner was dismissive and said nothing has changed. I have attached side by side pictures of my sandwich from two weeks ago versus today. It still tastes good, but I was disappointed in the difference in the texture of the meat and the lack of responsiveness/care when we called.

Had a chicken salad and was super happy about it. It was super fresh and well seasoned. Highly recommend!

    The coffee in question. Awful.

This review is about the Yvette's Market Place across the hallway sharing the same name as the restaurant. We've never had such a bad coffee experience anywhere else and at an outrageous price. Ingredients, machine, and end result (taste) was awful. Price was out of this world. $12.50 USD for a latte with almond milk! The service was friendly! But the person had no idea about coffee. Never been this disappointed before. Yvette's restaurant itself has great food! But their name is smudged by the association with this marketplace next door.

#14 on French- love the checkered sandwich paper!
