There's something so peaceful about spending the morning on Olde New Jersey Avenue, and this place makes it even better. The owners and staff are incredible, they make you feel like family every single time you walk through the door. The food is consistently phenomenal, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is always top-notch. Stopped in here a couple of weekends back, there are plenty of places to choose from in that area, we chose here and we were not disappointed. My go to, roasted pork sandwich can be hit or miss, but they made my sandwich perfect, the seeded roll was just "wet" enough, the pork had no pull or stringiness to it and the broccoli rabe was diced up very nice (some places leave in long). All of this made for an easy-to-manage, very tasty sandwich. Note, I did have cherry peppers, my brother had long hots. His sandwich was the same as mine, so the consistency was there. I visited for the first time this morning - just for coffee. I got an iced coffee for my daughter and hot for myself. It was the best coffee I have had anywhere, ever. I get coffee every day, at Dunkin, Starbucks, various restaurants... you have to try this coffee. I will be back tomorrow and every day I'm in North Wildwood. read more

I really wanted to love Deangelis Culinary, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. My boyfriend and I ordered two chicken parmigiana entrées, and we were so excited to try them. Sadly, the dish did not meet our expectations at all. In fact, it's probably the worst chicken parmigiana we've ever had, and we've had a lot. The sauce was extremely acidic and lacked depth of flavor, which made it hard to enjoy. The chicken itself was rubbery in texture, not crispy around the edges as you'd expect, and instead just soggy throughout. For a dish as classic and comforting as chicken parmigiana, this was really underwhelming. I do NOT recommend this. THIS IS A RESPONSE TO STEPHANIE DEANGELIS MESSAGE: First and foremost, I want to clarify that I did not wait three hours before eating the chicken parmesan. My boyfriend and I ate it immediately after getting home. By the time we realized how disappointing the meal was, your shop was already closed. We chose NOT to call because we weren't looking to request a refund--we wanted to take accountability for our order, and simply decided we would not order this again. As for the salad, the only dressing provided was a small side of creamy Italian. You offered me a small side of balsamic and oil after responding with the fact that you had no other dressing. Having only one condiment option feels very limiting. And regarding the chicken parmesan, the photo I shared speaks for itself--the dish was soggy, rubbery, acidic, and visually unappealing. If this is considered one of your best menu items, I have genuine concerns about the quality of your other entrées. Lastly, with respect to the Yelp rating, I selected the stars based on my experience as prompted. If the platform's labels caused confusion, that is outside my control. Great experience taking out the shellyshow sandwich. Delicious sandwich one of the best I've had. Price is reasonable, has a good balance of chicken, prosciutto, arugula, balsamic glaze, tomato and mozzarella. Parking was a bit tricky due to the road being blocked off on the street of the restaurant. Overall great experience pickup time was only 15 minutes on a Saturday night. read more

Numerous times now for breakfast and dinner They just keep getting better The reason for this review comes down to what might arguably be one of the best sandwiches I've had and that is known as a new creation called the Shelly. It was loaded with thin breaded chicken cutlet on a seeded roll from White House out of Atlantic City. It had prosciutto mozzarella oven roasted tomatoes, and greens with a balsamic reduction and I opted to have them add a little garlic mayo to the sandwich. It is without a doubt, one of the most delicious things I have tasted from their menu. A close second for me is their veggie sandwich which is also tasty. My husband is a big fan of their short rib sandwich and their beef sandwich. On separate occasions, I have also had one of their specials which was a chicken pot pie. The pot pie was loaded with chicken now some of you may be thrown off by the crust on their chicken pot pie, but the flavor of the pot pie was really good. They keep giving us reasons to go back so kudos to them and the only reason I haven't given a five stars is because I would like to try more things on the menu . read more
