I don't know how I've always missed this place. It looks so cozy and welcoming. I wish I was hungry. But I was only needing my morning double latte. So I was directed across the hall to the marketplace where I got the coffee. The guy making the coffee was super friendly, and very patient since it was my first time there. I'm putting this in the permanent rotation for every time I come back to Stone Harbor.

    My "French omelette"

Three stars because we drove over to Stone Harbor from Wildwood because this restaurant's menu specifically says "French Omelette", and I was so looking forward to it! My husband found it online and was super excited to take me there for my birthday because I LOVE French omelettes and they are so hard to find. It's a cute little place in a strip mall. So we get there and I was a little concerned that we were the only people there. I thought at first we just got there really early and surely there would be more people coming as we sat there, especially since it seems to have good ratings. We were allowed to sit where we wanted (note, not a lot of tables, it's a small place) and we were given menus and our drink orders were taken. Our coffees came out and we placed our orders. The coffee was very bitter and I tried to doctor it but it couldn't be fixed, so I gave it to my husband since he enjoys very bitter coffee. When the server asked me what I wanted in my omelette and I said just chives, she had to go ask if they had any, and then told me they didn't have any. That's a big flag... a classic French omelette is usually just eggs and chives, and maybe some other herbs. But ok, I said just some cheese. My husband ordered the stuffed French toast with strawberries. Our meals came out and his looked great, and he really enjoyed it. I wish I'd ordered the same thing. My omelette was decent for an American style omelette. But as far as a French omelette? Big failure. I don't think the cook even knows what a French omelette is. A French omelette is cooked quickly while stirring the entire time, and right when you think it's almost done, you fold it onto the plate so it's creamy inside with no need for cheese or anything else. It should have very little to no brown. Its simplicity is what makes it shine. My toast barely met the toaster and was cool enough to the touch that the butter didn't melt on it. I ate most of the omelette (like I said, it was decent for an American style omelette) and most of the toast, because although it wasn't really toasted, it was a good whole grain wheat bread and was tasty. Also, the pineapple on both of our plates was not ripe. It was still hard. I would go back for lunch because the lunch menu on the wall looked promising. Maybe they do a better lunch? I was thinking that maybe they do a better job at lunch and that's when the crowds show up...because no one else showed up while we were there. My other concern...the staff were so busy chatting in the kitchen that we had to stand up to get the attention of our server so we could pay and leave. The morning crew did not impress us. Maybe next time we'll have a better experience.

We were walking through town looking for a good lunch not pub not fried. We happened on Yvette's. Judging by the crowd this was a happening spot for a Sunday stroll . The menu had a lot of French influences serving sandwiches on crispy baguettes. I opted for the roast beef sandwich, came with caramelized onions , mayonnaise, arugula on a baguettes . We also opted for a salad that came chock full of fruits and nuts with a poppy seed dressing. Both items were good and fresh. It's a small restaurant that is in a strip mall with tables in hall outside. The restaurant is simple but good. A nice spot to add to your beach rotation. All the food coming from the kitchen looked so good. Try and see for yourself !

Five stars every time! Yesterday we enjoyed the salad with the most perfectly cooked tender shrimp (4) large on leaf lettuce with a gorgeous drizzle of homemade dressing and the number 15 which is the Brie, strawberry, pear and poppyseed dressing on the freshest french bread, fresh brewed apricot iced tea. I crave Yvette's, don't ever leave our little town.

I had eaten at Yvette's some years ago and last year picked up lobster rolls to go. Lobster Rolls are filled with lobster meat and cost $25. Now the reason I took away a star mainly has to do with a Stone Harbor law that they are a 'no straw' town. I asked for iced tea in a to-go cup and instead was provided a heavy glass that I found difficult to sip from. If Stone Harbor doesn't allow straws then please offer an easy to sip from drinking cup. Now to the food. Frankly I feel it needs seasoning , and I generously salt and peppered a side of tasty potato salad. I found the lobster could also do with a good shake of Old Bay. Never the less it is a sweet place to eat some unique fare and there is some extra seating in the outer hallway area. Our server was efficient and friendly. The food was prepared quickly. The price point is in line with tourist local fare. Definately a place to grab a lovely bite of lunch.

What a hidden gem! This cute little French inspired restaurant is set back in an indoor walkway and it's incredible! The people were lovely and the sandwiches were fantastic to take to the beach. Don't leave without grabbing the number 12: French brie, organic spinach, tomatoes, pepperoncini peppers w/special dressing on grilled focaccia. Seriously you will not regret the focaccia! Either eat both halves and be full all day or share with a friend! :)

They added breakfast this year. Excellent. We have been ordering French toast, omelette, bagel etc. omelette is not oily, very light but yummy. I like a lot. Attached is the French toast. Lunch of courses is always fantastic.

The food is phenomenal. The strawberry shrimp salad had the most incredible cheese, light dressing with protein and fruits. The lobster roll had the right amount of dressing (i don't like too much mayo so it was absolutely perfect for me). The unsweetened raspberry iced tea was out of this world. My mom and I were walking around and stumbled upon this great spot hidden away on 97th. The atmosphere is cozy and local, not a big show. This place feels like somebody's passion project come to life. The server was very attentive and informative, this will be a great tradition for years to come.

I needed to pick up a fast lunch, and decided I would finally try out Yvette's Cafe! They were pretty busy and the restaurant was packed, but the worker still managed to direct me over to their Take-out window (which is a tiny side room). I got their Roast Beef sandwich. It was okay, but it was not worth $17 dollars. The sandwich looks like (see photo) it's absolutely packed with meat, right? It's not. Underneath that meat is literally a salad's worth of arugula. I knew there was arugula in the sandwich, but I didn't realize there would be so much I would feel like I was eating a grass sandwich for a moment. There were barely any caramelized onions, but the lemon mayo was decent. The roast beef was only okay quality, and I noticed the edge of one of the pieces had that rainbow sheen on it which means it's starting to go bad. The bread was also okay, but it was almost all crust, so it was very crunchy. Again, not worth $17 in the slightest. Maybe they have something else on their menu that's amazing, but it's not the Roast Beef sandwich.

Expectations were high because I had read all the positive reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Very sorry to say that I wish I had been coming here for years. It will now become a tradition. Kimberly was our server and simply a delight. She was attentive and knew the menu inside out. My son was torn between two sandwiches and she gave him some helpful advice. I ordered the #3 it was fresh figs, goat cheese, arugula, caramelized onions on french bread. It was so delicious. My mom ordered the Asian pear and strawberry sandwich w greens. She was very pleased w hers and I was equally pleased with mine. My sandwich was 12$ you can add chips, or coleslaw for 1$ up charge. They don't take lunch reservations but do take dinner reservations. They accept credit cards.

Had a chicken salad and was super happy about it. It was super fresh and well seasoned. Highly recommend!
