Since this is now my mortgage money that is held up with the mortgage company, last week I spoke to a specialist who said he put in another "task" to apply the payment to this month's payment remainder I did over the phone with him. I called today the 7th of October and was told it was not done and another task was created and a callback requested from a supervisor. No supervisor has ever called me yet, I do not believe that they will call me back or fix the issue as everyone there seems incompetent and has no customer service skills or follow through. I was told also they had until the 15th now to get this task completed to apply the over payment they failed to send back to me in September to my current October payment I made over the phone with the agent. This is unacceptable l!!!!!!!!!!!! I received a comment from the company on my prior review and.... guess what ..... they did absolutely nothing. BTW I've had agents hang up on me, no warm transfers, Mrs walker answered and acted like she could not hear me and hung up at 4:17pm central. I thought I would never end up buying a house...so when I found my dream home just randomly driving…read moreby one day, I realized I didn't have any knowledge of how the process work. While my parents introduced me to a family friend who was a real estate agent, I had no idea how to go about finding a loan officer! After digging through Yelp/Google, I stumbled upon Meridox Mortgage that had stellar reviews and took a chance. I called Meridox and was put in touch with Trung Tran. I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer. He even kept a close eye on the market and advised me when I should lock in the rate. I thought home buying would be more stressful, but it wasn't as bad as I thought because Trung made every step clear and was very on top of deadlines. From pre-approval to loan closing, it took just one month! Thank you Trung for being so diligent and patient in helping me secure my dream home!
