I been here a few times and I have had mixed experiences... One time, I was getting my nails done and Linda was gossiping in Spanish with a client, talking about how people get pointy nails because they do not do chores... awkward! People get pointy nails because they CAN DO THAT! If you cannot rock pointy nails, just say that! Anyways- I have done my nails with Sandy and Olga in the past. Sandy is nice and pays attention to details. Olga- I am not a fan of! I feel like she gets distracted and the nails end up looking bulky and slanted.... This weekend I was rushing and needed something last minute... I was seen by Reyna... Reyna is such a sweetheart! She kept checking in with me to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. Manicure a FAIL. Gel manicure cost me $30 I believe, suppose to last atleast 2 weeks right? How about day 2 started chipping. Went back (Olga who I have to give full credit to for doing her job well, catering to me and providing great service), and she fixed it for me but apparently the brand is inferior and started chipping again. Thanks Olga but Z&Z ya'll need ONLY use top quality brand polish that is to do what your advertising. I'm a once in a blue moon mani pedi girl so dont keep up with the brands of polish as I do my 401k just not my thing my however, I should be able to get what I pay for no matter the brand. I been coming to this place for a few years now and the service is always on point. All the girls that work there know what they are doing and pay attention to details. I'm usually picky with whom I do my nails specially since I do SNS/Dip powder but in this place I would do it with any of the ladies available that work with dip powder because they all know what they are doing and do a great job. They do take the necessary measure for COVID-19 as to having dividers between the client and them, always sanitize the area after finishing with a client and dividers for the pedicure chair. They also provide mask to those who don't have any. read more

Do not go to this nail salon! They are rude! They ignore you when you speak to them unless you're one of their buddies and talk about you because they think you can't understand! One worker who claims her name is Jenny which isn't her real name cut my skin and made me bleed when she was cutting mg cuticle which didn't need to be cut. Didn't apologize at all. A sorry would've been nice! Didn't offer a discount or anything! I was in a lot of pain after that. They also cut my mother a couple of days before. Then when I asked for some of money back for the injury they got all bitchy and started talking behind my back. They don't display all their licenses so half of them are not licensed to work there. They don't sanitize their equipment properly.They ignore you! They've lost two customers now I hope they're happy! read more

Looks to be new chair and ladies......so here I am because I needed an emergency situa pre vacation and just a general maintenance run after a 1st bad experience at my regular spot. The past conditions and owners weren't that great and I am taking a chance.....again emergency circumstances. Ayana seemed pleasant and professional enough. I had both a pedicure and manicure here on different days 2 weeks ago. I wasn't sure how welcoming they would be of a man. But both times they did the job very well with no sign of discomfort. I will continue to go here for the services they provide and with a smile. The prices were within the expected range. Because the neighborhood is heavily populated with Spanish speaking folks, the clientele there was Spanish speakers. Many of the manicurists spoke Spanish to communicate with some customers. This is a sign of respect that the girls speak Manderin to each other and English and Spanish to the customers. I was impressed with their sensitivity and willingness to learn new languages to make the customers feel comfortable. I'll make this a monthly stop. This is the worst nail salon ever !!! They lack staff number one then they got one lady doing nails and wax. So this lady did three waxes while doing my mani and pedi so that cost me about 15 minutes i went in at 6:30 didn't leave till 8:35 apart from the wax she stopped to collect money from the co workers. On top of all that she did such a shitty job like my nails look like a 12 year old painted them never ever going to this salon again i don't care how close it is nor that it's the only nail salon around it could be the last nail salon on earth and i wouldn't go. Pros: - wide variety of gel nail colors - walk-ins welcome -little to no gossip Cons: -they charge a $5 fee (approximately) for using debit/credit - not compliant with enforcing COVID safety precautions (no sanitizer, no temperature taken, no gloves worn during services) - nail care tools were not sanitized. I literally had to stop services after noticing the lady was about to clip my toenails with a large toenail clipper that contained several toenails lodged inside. I have never experienced such unsanitary conditions. I was at risk of being exposed to bacterial, viral and fungal infections and she seemed annoyed that I asked her to replace the tool and sanitize all the products she was using for my pedicure. This is the law. If this is so much of a hassle for them, they should not be open for business. It's truly disgusting. - Some of the workers understand little to no English and/or Spanish. I had to repeat myself several times and relay my questions to another worker who had her own clients because the lady doing my nails did not understand that she chose the wrong color. She also did not understand when I asked to replace the toenail clippers and sanitize all tools. It's too much of a hassle, especially when they seem annoyed that I was genuinely concerned for my health and safety. That's unacceptable. Wouldn't recommend. read more

I wish i read the reviews before i went but I was desperate for a manicure and pedicure. I got a regular pedicure which was fine nothing special but then i got a gel manicure and it's absolute trash, honestly don't waste your money. Also i saw a roach and was already half polished and didn't want to walk out but omg this was awful. Also i wanted my nails round for my manicure and my thumbs nail is a hexagon. I also saw a little bug and i wish i walked out in the middle of my pedicure! read more

They didn't ask me to sanitize or wash my hands when I walked in. It was hot as crap in there. The pedicure seats aren't accommodating for anyone taller than 5"4'. The technicians weren't wearing gloves. Their aprons were dirty. There were no partitions between stations for manicures. The foot spa wasn't warm and bubbly. Their massage chair was dirty. Also pedicures are supposed to be relaxing and this was not. It was painful. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars for this place. I started going to this establishment regularly for SNS gel nail, at first everything was fine. Then last week I got my nails done, she tells me the fill in is the same price as getting them done the first time. I say fine and get them done. $60 dollars later and 1 week my nails are all broken, my nails, not tips. I entered the establishment at 7:40 to fixe my nails and they refuse to fix my nails because they close at 8pm. Now I have broken nails, I work in a corporate office and don't know what I'm going to do because most other nail salon are closed by 7pm read more

So I have been going to this nail salon off and on for years.I was excited to give it a try again after I saw it got renovated and was under new management.My first visit after renovation was pleasant.I got some tips done by the new owner and received a decent pedicure.the second time, I wanted my nails removed and asked for a soak.The owner was being impatient and pulled a piece of my nails off with a a card.I was so upset I didn't go back.After a long time again, I decided to give it another try due to convenience of where it is located and again I was very disappointed.I got tips and boy were they horrible. The person who did them made my square nails uneven,super thick, and they looked horrible.In less than a week my nail polish was chipping and looked super over grown.I would not recommend this place for anything more than just a pedicure and manicure.If you are looking for nice tips they are not trained to do that.The prices are pretty high for the quality you get. read more

I went for a half leg wax and somehow the cap was not placed tightly and HOT WAX was poured on my right leg which resulted in a BURN. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS NAIL SALON. 2 hours for a gel mani and regular pedi for $42. I was literally soaking my feet for an hour. An hour. They are understaffed and sloppy. Utensils don't come out fresh sterilized bags. Instead they "wash" their tools. I looked inside the tray where their "washed" tools were and I saw brown water. I should have left at that moment. My gel mani literally chipped the next day and so did my pedi. The polish looked crooked and sloppy. No clean edges. This place is a disaster. Seriously never coming here again and I don't recommend anyone going there. Seems like they have some returning customers while I was there that were willing to wait to be seen but I think that was mainly due bc the other salons were closed or there are none nearby. I can't stress this enough: don't come here unless you want the above service. Everyone there when I was there was getting annoyed and rolling their eyes.
