I've come here a couple of times since it's close to my house. I usually get my nails done (acrylic on top of my real nail) by the woman who sits behind the main chair. I did like the way she was able to mimic the designs I wanted but after it's done she doesn't clean the around the nail especially when I get a fill in. The pedicures were a bit sub par. I like when they really get the calluses off the bottom of my foot with that grating looking tool but she just scrubs the bottom with a regular foot sponge. read more

I should've known once they were empty on a Friday at 6 pm, that they were terrible. No employees, no sense of urgency, flirting with male clients and a boss who never stops talking. They only have the shop so they can gossip and talk shit, and do no nails. read more

First time we went there we had a good manicure. But the place is very dirty. Most of their machines don't work, or they have to bang them or keep twisting the cords to get them to work. Doesn't feel very hygienic or particular sanitized. No appointments. People are left waiting in the one or two uncomfortable chairs they have in front or standing or waiting outside. They only thing they have going for them is they're not expensive. But then you get what you paid for. We had to go to another place today, less than a week after the last manicure, to get them to fix the atrocious job they did. read more

Unprofessional and rude. Homophobic and bullies. Gossiped about other artists and made the experience extremely uncomfortable. Nails lifted 3 days after having them done. Expensive for that to happen, and dangerous because you're opening the door for fungus to appear. Wanted to charge me for a new set at a "discount" to fix them read more

I'm new to Cali and was looking for a good nail shop, and I'm so glad I found Broadway Nails on Yelp! Vivian did my dip powder with tips and she was so nice and accommodating the whole time. The salon has a huge selection of colors and designs, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. My nails came out perfect. She did exactly what I wanted. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Just very mediocre, but probably the most rushed I have ever felt getting a dip powder manicure. I don't believe the woman doing my nails listened to any requests- I asked for an almond shape and received square. The dip and polish was cracking and falling off my nails within a week, which I have never experienced before (and on my honeymoon, at that). It was an okay experience, but there is lots of room for improvement, and I likely will be finding someplace else to go. Also found it incredibly odd that I had to pay a Venmo deposit to secure my appointment (they say they are appointment only), yet when I went to pay, she did not ask about the Venmo and tried to charge me the full amount before I pointed it out. read more

terrible place they lie about the price. they have a sign saying they give 15% off new clients which is a lie. thy will do your nails however they want too. there's 6 salons in a 4 block radius and that's the only one that never have any clients and always empty. makes sense! terrible experience! never again read more

I've been coming to this salon for a while because it's local to me and most of the time it's been great. But within the last couple returns the service has been mediocre at best. I had gotten a new set of acrylic nails and three of them had popped off within a week. Then two more had broken during my fill. I had to go to a different salon just to see the difference in quality and care and there's a large difference. The service is rushed most of the time and there's very little care. It really depends on the day but it's definitely hit or miss. read more

Dip powder nails by Vivian, if I remember it's number #616. Total cost: $50 + $2 card charge Got the dip powder on my actual nails hoping they hold up longer than the gel. I'm happy with the look of them. Will see if they hold up for as long as I'm hoping. The salon was clean and quick with no wait time. Usually they want an appointment but I just called that morning and they said to come in (a Tuesday morning). UPDATE: 2 weeks later -- nails have grown out but dip powder still looks great. My new neighborhood nail spot (cash only!) - Nala hooked my pedicure up and she was attentive and took care of my requests...my feet felt like a million bucks. Vivian took care of my dip set and I loved how she shaped my nails. Not a long wait here...on weekends just call prior to coming to see what kind of wait. Quick and quality service here. read more

I personally hate giving one star because i try to be fair but i just experience the most horrendous service at this place, I decided to try this place because is close to my office & the reviews are not so bad. When i got there it was pretty busy, they told me it would be an hour wait which turned into 3.5 hours. I mean who wants to leave after waiting over an hr? My turn finally comes. As the technician is doing my nails shes playing an online game on her phone. Also in the middle of doing my nails she decided to get up and go outside to smoke a cigarette. She comes back smelling like cigarettes. Then when she's done she tell me that I had to wait for the next nail technician available to paint my nails. I explained to her that i been waiting for more than 3 hours and i had to go back to work so she said okay I will paint it now. OMGG!!! My nails look like a 5 years old painted my nails. They are so thick and hideous. I am so disappointed! Absolutely not going back!!!!! read more

I was in the area and was looking for a spot to get my acrylic manicure. I checked Yelp and this spot had fairly decent reviews. It's small and a bit cluttered but I'm not one of those gals who need the glam decor and wine and cheese served when getting my nails done, lol. I'm not knocking y'all lovely ladies who want that service though, lol. However this isn't that spot. However, what you will get is a cool, comfortable spot with some great music playing in the background. My nail technician was a Latino guy in the corner who I had to wait until he finished his current customer. I was able to get a preview of his work and was pleased with what I saw. When it was my turn, he was very friendly and focused on his work. My nails came out gorgeous and I was very pleased. The prices are fair and reasonable and I loved the fact that they have a huge selection of cool and different colors for your selection. I will check this nail spot again when I'm in the area. read more

Honestly, THIS is the nail salon you want to be at. Everyone was so warm and friendly, I felt like I've been a customer for years and this was only my first visit. You'll fill out a COVID form and your temperature will be taken at the door. As far as sanitation goes they've got the works and there were new, sanitized packages of tools for each customer. I got a pedi with Lilian, she was a sweetheart and shaped my toes perfectly, with a beautiful polish finish. I couldn't decide on a color and she tested a bunch for me on my nails to see if I would love them. I appreciate that patience so much. Now to Vivian, not only did she go out of her way to pay for the meter that the meter maid was about to ticket me for (which was the MOST generous act I've encountered probably ever) but she kicked some serious ass on my dip. I'm so picky with a nice thin dip, she told me about the ANC which I love so far. She got it perfect to a T. I could go on and on about the team at this salon but trust me, they know what they're doing and in a great time frame. I will be a customer for life. read more

worst service they don't clean your nails or prep before applying gel nail polish there acrylic application is not good very thick and bumpy nails .. I literally was cut multiple times and burned lady even started putting glue over the acrylic. I do not recommend for anything disputed this because they messed up my nails so bad but couldn't even fix it they tried and it just got worse black nails is what I had before and then purple is literally a well after having them done read more

Found this place on Yelp. Gave it a try and it was well worth it. Vivian knows her shit when it come to nails and she did a great job on my ANC mani. I was skeptical at first but will be a returning customer. For those curious on pricing, I paid 40$ for ANC mani (no tips) only because I had her do three coats. It would've been 35$ for just the two coats but I wanted my color to be bold. Also with tips it's 40$ according to what I quoted on the phone by Vivian when I called first. Either way I loved the outcome! read more

This review is long overdue, just remembered to write one because I plan to make my 2nd visit! I had ANC done by Vivian and loved it. It helped to grow my nails out a lot and keep it from chipping. I removed it thinking i would go back soon but I never had the time to. Eventually my nails chipped so i had to file them all down, which is why i hope i can keep up with taking care of them my 2nd time! Overall, amazing experience and Vivian was very concentrated. She seemed to enjoy her job which is something everyone should feel with their careers. :) read more

A friend recommended ANC at Broadway Nails; I went for the first time in March and fell in love, I go back every 2-3 weeks! The staff is super nice and know what they're doing. I've gone to other places while traveling outside the state and was shocked at the quality, BN is honestly the best place to go for your nails. You can't beat their quality, hospitality, and humor. This place is great! Not for the ambiance of the place but moreso for the service. GREAT SERVICE! The girls in there sure can do nails. They cleaned my cuticles to perfection. Theyre also very skilled in doing rare designs. So many gel color options. Theyre really cool in there. I feel like Im kickin it with my homegirl when I talk to the owner. Cool, down to earth. I was totally shocked by the high ratings and good reviews. I walked in and felt like there was a mistake and the reviews were for another place. The nail color selection was close to non-existent, as there were only two small display cases and they were both behind the nail technician stations. I was instructed to walk in and have a seat. There was no order and no way to know who was waiting ahead of me. While waiting I observed three pedicures get done and only one nail technician washed her hands afterwards. Between pedicures they only lightly rinse the pedicure tubs. There was only one UV sanitizing unit and I did not see anyone approach it during the 30 minutes I waited. I had originally walked in wanting a Mani & pedi but then decided against it based on my observations. The air was thick with that dust which is produced from nail filing and the only ventilation came from the open door. Waiting longer only made me feel uneasy about exposing my body to any surface in there. After thirty minutes, I could not take it anymore. I left and wrote this off. Never again. The potential of nice nails is not worth my health; enter at your own risk. read more

ANC nail is AWESOME! Very strong, lasts for 3 weeks without any issues, also does not damage my natural nails when taken off. I got ANC nails today, with color numbers 29 & 98 to get the color I want. Plus I had regular pedicure color matched to my ANC nails. Miriam did a terrific job layering 2 colors to get exactly the color I wanted, even BEFORE she saw what the ANC nail color would end up like. Great team work! Went in to get my nails done after it was well overdue for a fill, reshaping and UV gel. I pulled a pic of what I wanted and asked for it in a matte finish as well. Once done i was super excited with the price and the look. I'm not a fan of waiting on my nails to dry, so I've only have ever gotten gel polish, well since it's been invented. Got home took a shower, and it PEELED OFF, like those nail polishes I had from those Sanrio stores when I was a kid. Decided to go back the next day to get it fix, got to the shop, realized it was closed and ended up going across the street to miracle nail! Now, not a full week later and my other nails are chipping as well. I have no desire to go back for a well deserved free fix. I'd rather go across the street to the other salon. I AM IN LOVE!!!!!! Omg where do I begin? I have been to several nail salons in Harlem and I am pretty sure I just found my fav. NOT EVEN PRETTY SURE...I WILL BE SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT FOR TWO WEEKS. I was a walk in on a Friday around 11am. They took me with no wait. I got a DELUXE PEDI which was beyond amazing. The nail technician took her time and was extremely thorough. Dead skin GONE and my feet are so smooth. My fill in was perfect. All my nails were all the same shape and size and once again very thorough work. Before I left they wrapped my feet with saran wrap to prevent me from messing up my toe nail polish which I love. I've been coming to Vivian for years and this place just keeps getting better. She recently remodeled and the it looks great in here. It is a very clean location and they use liners during your pedicures, which is always a plus. Most recently she started carrying ANC nail technology which is odorless product that damages nails even less than gel manicures. The staff is knowledgeable and I wouldn't entrust my nails to anyone else! read more

Well, nail salon is so so... Dirty and not clean at all... Everywhere is dust. I did gel mani, the UV is dirty inside I could feel it with my fingers. While Vivian made me a mani she even didn't push my cuticles!!!! Usually when nail technician have to put your nail to the water to soft lil bitt the nails, I think she doesn't know about that anything. After she cut and filled my nails she said: go wash your hand!!! Wow... I never heard that kind of service in the salon, I guess she was too lazy to do her job... Such a disappointment. While she was doing my nails she didn't put the clean napkins under hand... Instead of that my hands was on a dirty table.... Ehhhh... Disgusting!!!!! Never going back that dirty and nasty salon, I better do my nails at home!!!! Only one star is for your good job Vivian on polishing, not perfect but it's ok, for so gross salon it's amazing. P.s. After 5 days my gel mani was ruined, cuz she didn't push the cuticles, what's the point to do gel mani for 5 days?????? First of all the shop is "Matchbox" size and can hold about 20 people including workers, you would think all the millions she's made there over the years she would have upgraded her space, cause the prices surely have inflated over the years. I use to spend $125 bi-weekly for a full set, pedi, eyebrows and lashes! Now the prices aren't even posted, YOU PAY WHAT THEY SAY! The gel selection is POOR & LIMITED, the "By appt" techs are sloppy and money hungry(Randy cut me twice) Did you know you can get an infection from being cut while being rushed out the chair for the NEXT PAYING CUSTOMER!?? ...But that's the shop as a collective and for the water down gel you slinging, y'all should be a bit nicer(In your profession & manners) There's no amount of wall paper or air freshener that will cover up this scam of a business. Cindy and Alex were a staple in the community, however they are TOO comfortable with mediocrity for me! I'm gonna take my coin downtown for a RUSSIAN manicure, where they cut your cuticles because it's part of the service. Don't EVER think you getting your cuticles cut(UNLESS ITS A PEDICURE) or a massage here!! NOPE! They would NEVER!!! Walked in at 10:30 walked out at 12:30!!!??? Ridiculous. At first told the wait was 15 minutes. But then they take other clients while they do your nails. The place isn't that clean and they charge for dumb things. I paid $10 for nail removal when they did nothing but soak them and I took them off myself. So I basically walked out paying almost $50 for very basic full set acrylics. To add to it the process was so long even after I explained I'll leave with a half job so I could make it to my plane on time.

I got there at 5:45pm for a dip mani and only got someone to soak / remove my previous dip at 630pm. That already had me a bit annoyed because if they knew they'd be overbooked why have that time available ? The lady who did my nails Carmen really didn't seem to know what she was doing with the dip. She kept over applying it and it started to look gunky and uneven. She had to redo a couple nails a few times and she got the powder all over my fingertips and hands. When she finally buffed it out and finished, the color was completely uneven from how much she buffed that it looked splotchy. She also was using a very gloopy bonding agent (making the nails bumpy) and the final coat was diluted so it was not shiny at all. They don't have many options for dip colors so not really sure they're investing in that service much. To top it off she finished at almost 8pm!!! I was not expecting to be there for over 2 hours. I was really upset by the service and had to get them redone at my usual salon a few days later. I don't think I'll be back

This place is on the 2nd floor so you need to go up some steep stairs, once inside, it's a pretty simple yet spacious room. I asked for a regular mani pedi and they told me it was $40, cash only. The person who worked on my nails was very nice, I thought she did a good job at cleaning up my cuticles and scrubbing my feet. I picked 2 different colors for my hands and feet. I thought she did a good job overall but maybe the quality of the regular nail polish is pretty bad because even after I waited quite a while for my nails to dry they still smudged. The polish on my hands has bubbles and just looks very messy once you look at them up close. It seems like most people come here for gel or acrylic so they don't really put much thought into regular polish. I'm giving them 3 stars because the girl was very nice and she did a good job but clearly the polish looks bad. After spending $40, I feel like I could have done my nails myself.

I got them done for a wedding, so I wasn't doing anything strenuous that would cause them to lift. I called the salon when I came back from vacation (less than a week) and they were only offering to take off $20. When asked how does that make sense, the person on the phone indicated that people get fill ins at the one week mark so this was normal. Let's start with the positives. Pros: The inside was really cute and well decorated. The woman who did my toes did a great job and I feel like I was able to communicate well. Also, they have a wide range of colors. They stay open later than most nail shops in the area. Cons: my nails chipped after 2 days!! I got SNS dip powder nails that usually last 3 weeks (when I get them done elsewhere). But when I got them done here, they didn't have the SNS dip powder top coat. So they had to use gel top coat. I told her that that wouldn't work and that she should have told me before that she didn't have the right top coat. But there wasn't much else she could do. And just as I predicted, my nails chipped. They started chipping after about 2 or 3 days with the most basic activity involving my hands. Second con, the price. I paid almost $100 for a regular pedicure and a dip powder manicure. And two acrylic toenails. Overall, I probably wouldn't go here again. But they did do a decent job on my pedicure. ‍

I then told her because she changed the price after telling me one price I will not be tipping! She was extremely disrespectful and her coworker proceeded to disrespect me as a customer! They have prices posted but tell customer those are old prices but never post the new prices! They are extremely rude to their clientele that are people of color! I would never recommend this place and believe that it should be boycotted!
