The other was a floor model. It was reasonably priced and ready to take home the day I bought it. My experiences with the service department were always satisfactory. The staff seem to be bike nerds who are not particularly friendly or engaging with the customers -- but they get the job done -- and all of my bike needs can be taken care of here in Minocqua so I don't have to trek off to Madison or Milwaukee.

I inspect the bike and other then some scratches the only damage is the front rim is tweaked and the tire is flat. I call Bikes & Boards and talk to Ivan who says bring it in. We drive over and he trues the rim on the spot and changes the tube for $15. Really $15. In Chicago where we are from it would have been $50. This is an old school bike shop were they know bikes. No super snobby people just good old down home bike knowledge. If you ever get the chance stop in and say hello. These guys are the real deal.

We are 6 adults, and four little girls ages 5-7 We range from beginner to experienced with kayaking. Just before we went out, the weather changed so we came back in after half an hour. We ate in the restaurant while it poured, and then went back out for another 90 minutes. We got out on sand bars to visit and play. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. When we…read morearrived the morning of our rental, they helped us get our cooler & fishing gear on the boat and checking in was easy. A staff member provides a comprehensive review of the boat and it's features, and then you are free to cruise the blue-green waters of the Chain O' Lakes all day. The pontoon (20' Hydrotherapy) was clean and comfortable, the canopy kept us shaded when the sun was hot, you have swim stairs in case you want to stop at a sandbar and cool off, and there were no issues at all with the motor. Plus they give you a map showing the lakes in the chain, detailing which ones are no-wake so the day was relaxing and trouble-free from start to finish.
