Last year we needed an electrician and we were fortunate enough to find Joe Morgan, with Electrical Consultants of Central Florida. We had a small job that needed attention. Joe came out and worked with us to identify the problem and worked up a solution. He quoted us a reasonable fee and cost estimate and we gave him the go ahead. He came on schedule made the repair. Problem was solved. He cleaned up after the work. About two weeks ago, we contacted Joe again to discuss a bigger project. Once again, he exemplified professionalism. Today he completed our task. We want to commend Joe Morgan for his politeness, professionalism and the quality of his work. He is our electrician for as long as he is willing to work with us. Our home is 2 story ( this is the reason I didn't do it myself) His team were very professional and CLEAN. His bid was fantastic. PLUS HE DIDNT UP SELL ON THE PAINT. Spoke to him on Thursday, AUG 5, and he volunteered to come give me an estimate at 8am the next morning. 8 am comes around and he doesn't show, not even a phone call from him. I waited until 8:30 and called him, no answer, then called back at 9:15 and left a message. He calls me back and gives me some excuse as to why he couldn't be here then apologized and said he'd be here at 10:30. Again, he was a no show but called me at 10:39 to confirm my address and said he was "almost there". Still waiting for him to show at 10:54 I called and told him not to come. Super unprofessional and unreliable. I can't imagine hiring this guy then worrying about if he's going to actually come do the job or not. His repair was prompt and exceeded what I though would be acceptable if I had tried it myself. As we spoke while he was working, he mentioned that the existing plumbing was outdated and no longer per code. Any future leak might have problems with insurance coverage. I asked if his business included replumbing homes - yes it did. He performed a through walkdown and gave me an estimate which included bringing the home up to code plus the services of a team which would repair all drywall openings PLUS texturing. The repainting of the wall was on me (common sense). His offer was fair to me, we scheduled the work for about two weeks out and the replumbing (thru the attic) was completed in one day. The drywall repair and texturing followed the next day. He walked down the entire home with me afterwards. After repainting the rooms affected, I am unable to tell where the openings were made to bring the new plumbing down between the walls. I am very pleased with the work performed. Note: at the same time I was negotiating a new homeowners insurance policy and the first question asked was if the house had been replumbed due to its age. Big peace of mind!!!

10/10 stars for Palmer electric which I do not own. Our house power failed last night after weeks…read moreof flickering. We called another company who claimed to have emergency service at midnight and stayed up for hours awaiting a call back. Finally we went to sleep to awake at 7 am and call Palmer. A qualified technician called us in 30 minutes (at no charge) and told us to call Duke to confirm it wasn't their issue. Duke said within an hour it was house not them. Palmer was out within an hour thereafter with ample communication during that time. Come to find out the main line connected to our main service box had fried and could have actually caused a fire. Thankfully it didn't. Around the time (10 am) we had a prognosis from Palmer at a reasonable non-emergency rate the other company called us back but we already had a resolution. They would have charged us $250 for a service charge far above what Palmer charged. We found out from Duke that Palmer is one out of three preferred vendors and we were in good hands and many other companies would have charged a service call without ruling out them first. All this to say we are Palmer customers for life. I will also talk to Palmer about making their yelp say they have 24 hour service which deterred us from calling them first as yelp said they were closed versus the other company who obviously didn't really have emergency afterhours service.
