Z Painting did an excellent job on the painting of my families 20 year old cabin. Mike Zweber was quick to respond with a quote that included all the preparation, exterior painting and staining of the deck and bridge. He was friendly and informative of necessary work and anticipated start date for the project. True to his word, the final price was as originally quoted. The only exception was our bridge that needed additional boards replaced. This was a small add-on and considering the hassle for me to haul up six 2x6 10 foot boards, it was well worth the price. They left this additional add-on entirely up to me to decide and were no pressure whatsoever. In addition to Mike, all his staff were exceptionally nice to work with. From Christy in the front office that worked with me and my annoying bank (they put limits on my initial Zelle payments) to Uriel the lead painter that was helpful in letting me know about the other bridge boards that needed possible attention. I do not normally leave Yelp reviews; however I feel compelled to call out the excellent experience we had with having Z-painting paint our house in Lake Arrowhead. Mike, Fidel, and Heather, along with the whole crew did an excellent job. There was no drama. Our house was treated with the utmost respect. They were excellent with communicating with us. They used the highest quality paints, sealers, and caulking. Best of all they did an excellent job painting. One or two minor issues that they quickly resolved with zero fuss. By far the best experience we have had getting a house painted in SoCal. In the past we have received lower quotes, but actually end up paying more for lower quality and absolute horrible experience. I think Z might quote a little higher. But that number is locked in stone and the experience and quality are worth it. And at the end of the day those low ball quotes have always not reflected final cost. Bottom line is if you want no fuss and top notch house painting then I highly recommend you contact Z painting. read more

I can't recommend Z Painting more highly. The owner came out, gave me a fair estimate, answered all my questions and gave me some color ideas that would pass the AWAC committee that governs house colors in Lake Arrowhead. I had some scheduling concerns, and Christy in the office was very helpful to make the painting happen around my specific dates. She's very communicative and easy to work with. When the big day finally arrived, Luis and his crew were terrific. They arrived on time, polite, friendly and definitely skilled painters. I wasn't able to be at the house every day, so I gave them instructions on how to get in so they could access the deck, bathroom, etc. They treated the house like their own, which was a huge relief to someone like me who couldn't be there every day. The end result? The house looks STUNNING. I literally haven't found a drop of paint or even a smudge out of place. The detail work is truly impressive, even in spots 20+ feet off the ground where the ladders were carefully balanced on a hillside. This company gets it right, for a fair price. Big thanks to Mike, Christy, and Lencho for helping me stain and seal my butcher block countertops. Mike is very kind and easy to work with. Estimates are spot on and was more than happy to answer any questions I had and explained the process very clearly. Christy was great to work with. She scheduled the work to flow with other work I was having done by others and was super easy to reach. Lencho did all the stain and sealing of the countertops and was very polite, prepped very well, and cleaned up. I never even knew he was there besides the awesome difference from start to finish of the butcher block. Looking forward to having Z Painting our soon to paint the interior of my home. Nobody showed up so I called the office number around 3:35 asking is anyone was going to come. No answer so I left a message. I chose this company based on the reviews on Yelp. Well I was seriously disappointed. Although they were able to start the project quickly the overall quality of the job was sub par at best. I met with the owner 2 times before the job started to go over details. Despite his writing things down and doing a walk through with me the specs were not followed. They over ordered paint, the cut lines were atrocious, the mess they made and left behind was awful. Items went missing from my home. The owner responded to my concerns about the poor quality and assured me that he would personally see to it all was remedied. The first time he told me that I came to inspect the corrections and they were non existent. I contacted him again to express my dissatisfaction and he did show up personally. This time they ran out of the paint needed to fix the horrible cut lines. As the client I spent numerous hours trying to manage this vendor and the poor quality of their work. In an effort to "scam" me they used the wall color paint to paint the trim DESPITE them knowing and buying the trim color. It was obvious this was done to save time and money on their part. Once I discovered the trim issue it was too late to fix as all of my new flooring had been installed and there was no way I trusted them to paint the trim without getting it all over my new floors. To date the job remains an eye sore even though I paid over $8K. The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because they were able to start quickly and the owner was responsive at first but not after I started calling him out on all of the issues. I have had 2 other, professional painters, both owners of their companies and both said the job was done very unprofessionally. read more

We had the outside of our home painted and they had to get inside the house in order to paint the decks and railings. They laid down covers to protect the carpeting and cleaned up after also.
