I highly recommend Jose and his team! We needed the exterior of our home painted, as well as a couple of rooms inside. We also needed some carpentry completed. They took care of all of it and did an excellent job. Their attention to detail was exceptional. One thing important to me is their knowledge of how to work on mountain homes - they know how to address the issues like the house being built on an incline etc. I also appreciated his crew - really nice guys who worked around our dogs (who were very curious of what they were doing :-D ). I hired Kenny's Painting to refinish (strip/sand the old "stain" that was really paint and then stain) my deck, outside stairs and deck railings in Big Bear City. Oh my gosh! They did a fabulous job!! I walked on the deck barefoot several days after it was dry and it felt SO smooth. Not only does it feel great; it looks great and the deck is several decades old. Kenny and his team just finished refinishing our log cabin in upper Moonridge (Big Bear, CA) and I am extremely pleased at the work they did. The old finish was blistered up and in order to preserve the chinking, they had to sand and refinish it by hand. The job also included a large deck with log railing. In choosing a painter, I relied on the recommendations of Yelp contributors and I'm glad I did. Their positive statements of their experience with Kenny was my experience too. Leaving Kenny a great review for some work he did for me recently which was to paint a 1000 SF home in Big Bear City that had been vandalized by a renter and the guy I had hired just quit as it was so overwhelming. Kenny came in and finished it in record time, broke his rear I think to get it done on time and also saved me from buying new doors as he rehabbed my own old ones that were ok but needed some work. Also he gave me referrals for other services so I would not be left in a lurch up there. I would give Kenny 6 stars due to that if I could. Quality of work was good and Kenny checked with me after to see if I was happy :) . Thanks again! And I would use Kenny again but thanks to the good job he did I should not need painting for a while! Kennys Painting is just that, a man that takes his business personal. Kenny and his crew were onsite, 6 days a week, 10 hours a day, until the job was complete. At the end of each day, my property was left spotless. He even did follow up visits to confirm the job was completed to my expectations. I have owned a house in Big Bear Lake for over 6 years now and have experienced many a contractor. Kennys Painting was a refreshing surprise after all the other knuckleheads I have used. What really amazed me was the amount of people that live in my neighborhood who stopped by after the job was done. They all said the same thing.
