It's the service thats really lacking at those locations. That's why I opted to visit The Cellular Connection when it came time to renew my Verizon contract. Chris, the assistant manager, is a no-BS kind of guy. I got straight answers on why I should or shouldn't buy a particular phone, for example. Although I had my eye set on the top-of-the-line Galaxy Nexus, he encouraged me to check out a Droid RAZR, saying it probably fit my needs better than the current "flagship" device I was so antsy to buy. And after seeing them side-by-side, he was absolutely correct. There was no upsell to something I didn't want, no glossing over the phone's flaws -- just honest advice. He even allowed me to make test calls and play with it for as long as I liked; there was no Verizon demo software or tether, so I could try every last feature, feel how it slid into my pocket, and so on. Unlike the corporate VZW stores, Chris knew what he was talking about and I appreciated that. Even the discussion of rate plans and features was to-the-point and Chris was honest about what the best choice for me was. I wasn't forced into a 1500 minute plan or something with 5GB of tethering. Although my contract isn't up for a while, I'll definitely go back and buy yet another device from Chris and his staff.

He will not sell you a phone that he thinks is garbage just to make a sale. This store is also a service center. When I broke my phone he was able to fix it in a matter of minutes. He has a great rapport with his customers and many are willing to travel a distance just to have Michael take care of them. I will definitely be visiting this store again as the need arrises.

I upgraded our phones to smartphones and updated my service plan for my wife and I. My bill came out to be over $1100!! I experienced problems with my new Nextel 8350i and another phone was ordered as a replacement by World Wide Wireless at my request. I was charged over $500 for it on top of the original charges. I also incurred erroneous other charges that I should not have been charged since I've been a customer of Nextel for over 8 years according to the current owner. A credit was issued on my next months statement, but not for even half of the incorrect charges. I have upgraded phones multiple times over the years and have never had a problem or seen a bill this extreme. I personally delivered and reviewed my bills with the current owner weeks ago and there is still no resolution. I would certainly think twice before visiting this location.

I explained how I was looking for an iPad with cellular service and an Apple Watch. He helped me set everything up and explained all the new features to me. I asked him lots of questions and he took his time explaining everything to me. He even got me a deal with the IPad if you need a sales rep for your Verizon needs go see him. The area was cleaned, sales rep friendly, and a fast process.

Being the technotard that I am and not really caring much about TVs (as long as I have something to watch my Greys Anatomy on I'm happy) I let my hubby handle the mounting the TV on the wall details. My husband quickly discovered that Tech Connectors had deals with Costco (his home away from home) and started chatting with a sales associate, Michael, there. Michael gave him very good advice on installing the TV, as well as his new stereo system that may just cost more than my entire purse collection (and I spend a lot of $ on purses!). Michael also helped him figure out the best way to build shelves for the dvd player and tivo since we didn't have any need for an entertainment system on the wall. After a few weeks of emails over these very important matters 2 guys from tech connectors showed up and put together our brand new entertainment system! My husband was thrilled with the results (i haven't been able to move him from the couch ever since) and I have to admit the TV/stereo system looks very pretty mounted over the fire place. Michael Hornickel was great, answered all my questions clearly and concisely and pushed back when I was probably suggesting the wrong things. They also allowed me to buy my own materials including HDMI cables. In the end, Tech did the following: 1.) Adjusted mount on fireplace 2.) Installed mount for Yamaha soundbar 3.) Installed TV and Soundbar 4.) Took off existing component mount 5.) Installed two new mounts 6.) Installed IR repeater which allowed components to be rotated around corner 7.) Installed in wall HDMI cabling Michael was great, and so were the 2 people that came to do the work (sorry I forgot their names) They called to let me know they were running a bit behind (but they arrived well within their time window) and came in, did a great job and cleaned up all the dust and packaging. The problem got even worse after that and he then told me that he would not be attempting anymore repairs or paying for the damages. Fast forward 4 years to today, I bring a tablet by because I had no other option as I was visiting my mother in the area and needed it for work. I took another chance, and this is how it worked out: I have to purchase a new iPad out of pocket and the same guy from before told me that he is not responsible for repairs failing once the device leaves the store. You may be able to find a cheap deal or two here but I would stay far away from the repair counter if I were you. Twice this has happened to me alone. Don't believe the good reviews, they are not genuine and I have the transaction history to prove it. Beware.
