Updated Review, After some emails, I was connected with the sales manager who was both professional and understanding of the situation. I also saw their side where it is my responsibility to find the best price beforehand but they also saw my side where the exhaust was priced higher than any out there in the market. They helped to fix the situation with store credit which is fine, the main thing is they saw my side and kept me as a customer. Order# 1567126 I asked Z1 to find me the HKS Super Turbo exhaust and I made it clear that I reached out to them because I purchased a Tomei exhaust before from them and liked their overall service. The online representee told me he found one and the invoice was ready. The invoice was for $1392.47. So, I paid it, come to find out your guys marked it. Everyone else is selling it for 1000 or less. You can find it online all over the place for 1/3 or half the price. They took my trust and took advantage of it by marking it about 50%. How are you going to do that to your customers? Added photos for evidence of the true market price.

I was supposed to receive my replacement bumpers over a year ago, as they came heavily damaged. They must've never contacted priority one freight. And I never heard back. Now still after a year I contact them to try to resolve this and they say there's nothing they can do.

    Z1 Supercharger kit

Ordered the Z1 Supercharger kit July 2023. Since then, I've put about 5k miles on the car. I've had a few issues that the staff at Z1 was able to resolve quickly. The car is easily drivable even at over 600whp an it made me fall back in love with it. If you have a VQ, I would highly recommend you check out this kit in its entirety.

Ordered OEM parts from their website. 1 of 3 parts came in an unmarked bag...shipment was also missing the promotional air freshener. In the first phone call, customer service confirmed that they incorrectly shipped a 3rd party item by mistake. Second phone call, they changed their stance and said the part we received was the OEM part ordered. Tried to get customer service (name: Austin) at Z1 Motorsports to verify that this was the OEM part I ordered using a manufacturer's spec sheet or invoice to match the inscribed number on the part I received. He claimed their invoice had this information on there, but he couldn't send it because that information was proprietary. I asked for a refund. They gave me $58 (the cost of the 3rd party equivalent) when I had paid $94 (cost of the OEM part)...still working on the refund process for this item. I would not shop here again.

Missing collar E, they sent me three collar C...

Don't shop from this place. They don't respond to emails. I had to file a paypal claim in order to get a response. They were blowing up my cell when I strictly asked for email replies to keep track of anything I would need to fall back on. They also forgot to send out my order for almost two weeks! I had to give em a call because they're website said my order wasn't paid for when money left my account and paypal. If this place is the only shop that carries what you need, make sure it's correct because they will tax you on return *Update* Tried my luck a THIRD time with them! Still screwed up as I ordered rear subframe collars for my g37. They sent me 3 C collars and 1 E collar. Supposed to be 2 of each. Now my cars at the shop longer till I receive the correct one. How do you even screw that up?!

    Defective oil cooler

BEWARE OF THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!!!! They sold me a defective oil cooler that split open while I was sitting in traffic and it nearly blew my motor. After sending multiple emails and pictures of the incident, they were very uncooperative and very unprofessional. They later dismissed it as a "installation error" and then they had the audacity to tell me that the only thing they could offer is "free shipping" on my next order. SMFH. I also tried to explain to them that I didn't hit anything, that I was literally just sitting in traffic and they kept insisting that something had pierced the cooler and that they could've replaced it if I had sent them pictures of the cooler on how I received it but how was I suppose to know this was going to happen with the poor quality product they sent me. For Anyone that is looking to build a case against these people or have any other questions about my experience feel free to email me at rodriguezmarcus009@gmail.com

Update! Kevin contacted me, via text after reading the…read morereview, asking that I take the review down and allow him an opportunity to come back out and look at the vehicle, free of charge. Kevin shared that he was at risk of losing his job and was a lead tech, although listed as the owner. 'Management' also contacted and asked that I take the review down and offered to refund the labor. At this point (2 days later) I had already taken the vehicle to the Toyota dealer, as his 'management' advised the vehicle was complex and initially declined looking at the vehicle without another charge. Toyota Diagnosis: improper fitting and installed spark plugs. Cost: 98$ inspection- which was deducted from repair cost. Repair cost total, including one day vehicle rental, 468.79$. I reached back out to Kevin and 'Management', via text and email, three consecutive days- excluding Sunday, explaining the outcome and requesting a partial refund (spark plugs, diagnosis, and labor). I have not received a response and am now seeking civil action. Receipts attached. Again, the purpose of this review is to bring awareness.

2011 BMW 335i e93…read more Paid $1,300+ for a repair just for him to break my clip to the fuel rail, pop off the tips/tops to my brand new $1200 coil packs, left the ignition coils unplugged and said it wouldn't start. Kevin was supposed to replace my valve cover, MAF sensor, coolant hose, Fuel Sensor B, Air intake temp sensor, and Fuel regulator. This was all supposed to fix my minor misfire problem. I wasn't able to be there for the main repair bc i had work but he had called me and told me that he couldn't start the car but everything was good, and that it was bc the battery was dead/dying. Naturally i believed him bc my car had been sitting for a while, when i had went to check on the car the day after ready to jump it the car wouldn't turn over like it would before, i told him about this initially and he said that he would come back and check on his work. He never did. But upon further inspection i found several things wrong: The bottom 2 coil packs weren't in or seated properly (when taking them out the tips/tops weren't even connected) and the connector that goes to my fuel rail had been broken. These are just the things that I had noticed off rip, so only God knows how extensive the damage really is. After I noticed all of this I brought it to his attention by calling/texting him but he wouldn't respond- when usually he would answer almost right away. Today I tried contacting him again only to find out that my number had been blocked. This has ultimately been a waste of time and a huge waste of money whereas now i have to spend even more on a wiring harness or figure out how to or even IF i can solder a new connector on, buy new coil packs, etc. on top of already spending a good amount of money on a failed and botched repair. If you want my advice, the best choice is usually the hardest one.. don't look for mobile mechanics, or mechanics who don't own an actual shop or any "do-it-yourself"ers. Just take your car to an actual shop where you can get it properly and professionally looked at. You're gonna have to spend a lot of money anyways, so you might as we do it right the first time around rather than hop scotching to different mechanics and ppl. I just wish i would've known this sooner, don't be stubborn or a penny pincher, bc pennie's pinch back and when they do it's gonna hurt like ab.

After I paid him upfront for the parts (didn't have an issue with that) on August 22, I was told he would have the parts by Tuesday the 9th of September (18 days after supposedly ordering them, but okay)... I texted him on Wednesday the 10th asking when I should expect him. He texted back said he had been sick and asked if Friday the 12th would work. Told him sure. Friday comes and he doesn't show. I text him back and no response. This continues through the ENTIRE following week with no response from him. He finally shows up on the 19th (nearly an entire month after we first agreed he would do the job). I paid him via CashApp for the labor and figured that was the end of the situation. When he left, I was happy, finally had some air conditioning in the truck. My happiness was short-lived, because by Monday it was back to blowing hot air (no freon). So of course, I texted him and finally Wednesday the 24th he said he would try to get to me by the weekend (26-27 September), of course that didn't happen. He texted me again on the 29th saying he would "try and make it today".... Finally on the 30th of September he made it back over to redo his work. Everything since then was fine until last Sunday, May the 17th. The AC started blowing hot air again (obviously the system has sprung another leak). I've attempted to contact him via text every day since then with absolutely no response. Oh, and for those of you wondering why I'm texting him instead of calling, he doesn't answer the phone and hasn't even bothered to set up a voicemail. If you have an AC issue, find someone else. I'm fed up with this nonsense. Thinking about small claims court, but at this point I just need some AC.
