The owner hired my daughter to help serve and work in the kitchen. My daughter is organized, neat, hardworking and respectful. She worked 2 weekends. Five minutes before leaving for her 3rd weekend, the owner called and said 'I don't need you this weekend~ call me this week about next weekend's hours.' My daughter left 3 polite voicemails~ I heard her leave them~ and the owner never called back. My daughter was crushed. Apparently the owner is very nice to customers, but she needs to learn how to treat her staff well. Per your reply: I absolutely have the right restaurant. It appears you don't even remember having my daughter work for you for 4 days, canceling her next shifts, asking her to call you, then never returning her calls. I will come in, as we live right around the corner. I will bring a photo of her, which might twig your memory. You are welcome to write an explanation or apology to her. read more

On a whim decided to take my wife and kids to this restaurant for late dinner on a Saturday night. Small in size compared to a multitude of other Thai restaurants I have gone to over the last 35 years, I was blown away by the quality of the food coming out of its diminutive kitchen. For dinner I decided to order the Tom Yum creamy noodle soup. I could not get over how balanced this soup was, with the array of ingredients including the seafood which could have just been caught minutes prior to cooking. Pad Thai, drunken noodle, soups and curries they slay with one hand tied behind their back. It brings back so many memories of my years in Thailand and mind you I worked as a chef in Thailand. Favorite Thai place in the area, really heads and shoulders above the places I used to go in Nyack. Drunken noodle, crab Rangoon, chicken satay, all the curries are very flavorful. My friends and I find ourselves "craving Zabb" lol. The woman who always works there is very nice, gave me a free bubble tea since I was going there a bunch lately. Very simple but appreciated gesture, am not big on writing reviews but I'll go out of my way to support a small business doing quality work and who values their customers. One of the best meals I've had in a while! The food was so fresh and very tasty. On the pricier side, but worth every penny in my option for the quality and amount of food you're getting. The papaya salad was delicious and made fresh when I arrived for pick up. Tried a few appetizers (especially loved the chicken dumplings!) and entrees (Thai basil spicy chicken, drunken noodles, chicken in brown sauce) between 3 people. I went to pick up the food and the owner was lovely - very pleasant and clearly cares about her customers and the food she puts out. Already looking forward to coming back! read more

The food is too salty, portions are tiny, and way too greasy. It's. Or worth it, simply bad Thai food, or worth the money.

WOW. I am so lucky this place is open on Mondays otherwise I never would have tried it as there are other local Thai places that I love. I came here for the first time this week and was super impressed. I ordered my favorite Thai dish (pad see ew) and it was SO fresh and tasty. I don't usually finish the whole dish, but I just couldn't stop eating. In addition to tasting amazing, the presentation was beautiful. The owner was super friendly and helpful - making for a really wonderful dining experience. We wanted to try this place out so we ordered take out. We asked for a level 2 spice and they put a lot red pepper flakes and it was extremely spicy to the point where it was not edible. We tried many Thai places and level 2 spice is not too spicy for us in other places. So this place threw me off because we could not taste the flavor. Will not order from here again. Just saw this place one day coming home from work, where Grub used to be. Looked it up online and decided to order tonight with the family. We ordered the Pad Zee Yew, Thai Fried Rice with Duck, Chicken with Garlic Sauce, the Chive Dumplings and the Larb Gai and was extremely happy with the food. Everything was extremely tasty and no dish was like another. Not only that, but the portion size was quite larger than many of the other thai places around. The Chef and owner even gave me a free Thai Iced Tea. We now have our favorite local Thai restaurant within minutes of our home! read more

From the outside, It doesn't look like a place you'd be leaving feeling pleased, because it next to other businesses that look a bit run down, but once you enter you are met with fresh flowers on each table, which adds a very nice touch of elegance. The waitress is very nice, and the food is something out of this world. I had a soup and salad, I wish I remembered the names (lol). And both were AMAZING!!! and I mean, truly amazing! We loved our experience at Zabb Thai! So much so that we came back... two days later! The family who runs this kitchen was so friendly. The first time we came we were so impressed by the personal attention we received from the wife who waited on us. We were also amazed by the beauty of each dish, prepared so lovingly. I ordered the High School spicy for Green Curry... and it was spicy!!! It was great! My husband ordered College level and he loved it! Everything was delicious! When we came back two days later, we tried new dishes and loved it all. This time, the wife who was waiting on us before, came out and explained that she would be cooking that night instead. So her husband was our waiter. His service was great! But her cooking was INCREDIBLE!!! Not only that, but they gave us complimentary egg rolls while we waited for our meal.
