I ordered wings, pork fried rice, and chicken on a stick. The wings were decent, but I noticed they were being kept under the fryer without a lid, which made me a little uneasy. The rice didn't have much flavor either. The worst part was when I found a piece of paper stuck to the chicken on a stick. That completely turned me off. I won't be coming back here. We were staying a hotel in the area and this place delivered. We got the large ribs and some wontons. The ribs were tasty and had a lot of meat and sauce. The wontons were interesting. I've been ordering on and off from Panda Garden for many years. Overall, they are a very solid choice for Chinese food in Nyack for pick up or delivery. They rarely disappoint, and run a tight ship there with very hands-on ownership. Their website for ordering is excellent, and while they charge $2 delivery fee, they will deliver relatively small orders and don't charge for credit card use...both pluses. The delivery service is very timely and reliable, the food is tasty and reasonably priced, and they are pretty good at following special requests. An excellent choice in Nyack. read more

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. Very solid takeout Chinese, and the steamed pork dumplings are superb, one of the best I've had. Very nice staff too. One time (of the many times I've been there) they messed one thing up and they gave me appropriate credit for the next time I ordered from them which it's always nice to see good customer service. I got the shrimp in garlic sauce lunch special with pork fried rice. They were stingy with the shrimp, only 4 pieces in the dish. I didn't like the garlic sauce, it was red color, usually garlic sauces are brown. The pork fried rice was ok, no scrambled egg in it. read more

Ordered lunch from here and it was delivered on time but they forgot one order and had to go back. They still got the order wrong. Besides the mixed up, food was good. Not sure if it was because I had not had Chinese in a while or not. Vacuumed the entire bowl. I'm sorry to report that I just had an experience that let me very unhappy with this establishment. I was there during lunch so my plan was to order a lunch special. I said "Can I have pork lo mein instead of pork fried rice?" I was told "You need to order the dinner combination." Okay no problem. So I order the dinner combination and I discover that I'm being charged an additional $3.25. I obviously questioned it and was told "I thought you knew since you said "it was only a couple dollars more." I was referring to the difference in price between the lunch and dinner special. As nice as she was she did not remove the $3.25 charge so it left me with a sour taste in my mouth. There is less than a dollar difference between a small order of fried rice vs lo mein so I'm having trouble justifying how an additional $3.25 charge makes any sense. Recently moved to Nyack. We were looking for a good Chinese place and I think we found it! Last night we door dashed and it was delivered piping hot within a half hour. I ordered the tofu with vegetables and my bf ordered the General Tso's chicken. The tofu with veggies was loaded with a ton of different veggies including baby corn, broccoli, celery, & carrots. The tofu was thinly sliced and full of flavor. The dish itself was the perfect amt of spicyness. The general tso's chicken had great flavor. My bf also had the pork fried rice. He said it was good but could use a little more flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed the vegetable lo mein. It was delicious! Prices were fair as well, would definitely order from here again. read more

While the staff is still super friendly, the food quality took a massive dive. I've ordered a couple of times recently and while in the beginning I blamed the bland taste on the chef having a bad day, it became obvious,that this is the new standard for their dishes. Food is bland, almost tasteless. The dishes I ordered (sweet&sour chicken, general tso's chicken) contained mostly breading and barely any meat, plus the meat had a weird grey color to it. Best damn chicken with cashew nuts I have EVER tasted. Hot & Sour soup to die for. I know people love to find things to bitch about, but I just can't find anything negative to say. While I know I can be picky(!), the guy on the phone really seemed to have trouble with my order. The food arrived on time and we began to enjoy our meal. I definitely like this location as the service is prompt, friendly, and always with a smile, I even ate here more than once a week! Always accommodating to our requests...like authentic chinese stir fry-chinatown styles. The owners are genuinely appreciative of your business, and the food is not overly salty or MSG loaded, and not oily. First time orderer here's my experience : Online ordering was a breeze! Loved the convenience this provided. Received order confirmation by email and a call from the delivery driver about 20 minutes later. He arrived about 5 minutes later. He walked in friendly, greeting me and giving me the total. But when I went on to tell him I didn't have cash (hence the reason I ordered online) he went on to tell me that I could add the tip on card. Confused I explained to him that I wasn't given the option to do so online. He told me I could write it in on the receipt. (Once ago I did this with another restaurant and ended up being double charged!) I explained my situation and my concerns with doing so. Adding that I would double tip next time! HE THEN THREW MY RECEIPT IN THE BAG MUMBLED SOMETHING IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE AND WALKED OUT!! The food : Egg roll : I've had better Roast pork egg foo young : quite tasty. I've ordered from this place for a while and even with little misorders and missing beverages here and there, I was a continued customer, not anymore. Tonight I experienced one of the worst delivery service ever. The delivery guy with a mole on his face is a rude employee and he shouldn't even be working in a service industry. (I, too, have experience in the service industry so I do understand all the bs) I ordered chicken and broccoli with Sprite. The delivery time was ok but they forgot the Sprite. I call back and since they forgot the soda, I just decided to order soup to come along with it. I have seen the soup made plenty of times, they put precooked chicken and rice then just add the broth. Simple. However, they told me it will take 20-30mins to deliver the soda they already misplaced plus the simple soup. Now, I understand they have to manage their delivery time for other customers but, I called as soon as the guy left so shouldn't it be the business' priority to bring back the soda as soon as possible? So, when I ordered the soup, I said, if it is going to take too long, just forget about the soup. The person on the phone said it'll be here right away after I said I don't want it if it takes too long. I live a two-minute drive from the place, just a long hill up. That is not all. The delivery guy with the mole on his face: when he delivers food, he expects good tip every time. I usually order around $10-12 worth of food and give him $1-$1.50 in tip and every time I give him that amount, he just stands there and stares at me and says, "that's it?", like... Who does that? Especially for the tremendous load of work he's done to drive up a two-minute hill. This time was no different. He does this and forgets the Sprite then when he comes back, he says, "I put the Sprite in the bag. I know I did so you did something". What? What kind of service is this?
