Ended up trying new coffee places both from carts/trailers! Zaca Coffee Trailer is a cute little trailer that's tucked in a parking lot in the Santa Barbara arts district. When we went, there was no actual parking in the lot itself as I think they leave it open for seating and other businesses which is smart since it's not a huge lot anyway. So you can park in the paid lots or just find street parking. I got a vanilla latte for my husband which I think was the llama latte and I got the honeysuckle iced coffee since I read that was good. At 10 am on a Tuesday, it wasn't crowded at all. The woman making my coffee was really nice and I enjoyed my coffee a lot! Will be back when I'm in the area.

Lucky I tried this coffee as I was waiting for Mony's to open. Wish I lived near so I could have tried the pistachio latte macchiato!

Another amazing coffee experience at Zaca. Great music, shade, and sun. This is a little hidden gem in the fun zone. What a treat. Their little pastries are delicious and they make their chocolate syrup in house at their main location in the valley. I'm really happy that the alternative non-dairy milk is $.50 This is reasonable and probably one of the better offers in town. Amy serves up a great latte and mocha with a smile thank you everyone

When in Santa Barbara, it's always coffee first at Dart Coffee Co. till I stumble upon Zaca Coffee Trailer from signs leading to this really cool vintage trailer in the the Funk Zone. Zaca Coffee Trailer was founded in 2021 in the Santa Ynez Valley by a huband and wife team, there is another located in the city of Buellton "Central Coast" parking can be a bit of a challenge. There are about five table and chairs under a cover top and two picnic tables with umbrellas, there is a area that you can order merchandise from like shirts, caps, mugs and coffee. It was so nostalgic to order my flat white from here, it did not take long and it was really good, and yes I will return back here when in the 805

Yum! Love the seasonal flavors and appreciate how they adjusted the amount for me so the peppermint wasn't too overwhelming. There was a constant line of people ordering but they were quick to make drinks. Great little place!

Great dirty chai, delicious ham and cheese croissant. Nice outside seating and perfect morning vibes

Stumbled on this coffee trailer by accident since my usual café was closed, and I'm glad I did. My go-to order, a macchiato, hit the spot smooth, bold, and balanced just right. I also tried the pistachio latte, which looked great but fell a little flat in flavor compared to what I was expecting.

This trailer is right across from Mony's and has a good amount of outdoor seating. Two picnic tables have umbrellas for those wanting shade. You walk up to order and then the staff will call your name when your order is ready. The staff were super friendly when I came and educated me on their empanadas (which are baked by a local couple). The empanadas were delicious! I had the egg and sausage, quinoa, apple, and guava with cream cheese. Yes i had four, don't judge me. All were delicious but the guava with cream cheese was ::chefs kiss:: The iced coffees were very smooth and enjoyable. I wish there was a tad more vanilla syrup in it but hey! Better than too much! I'd definitely come back again. Fair warning, because this is located in the funk zone, you may have difficulty finding parking.

Llama Latte, Guava-Cheese Pastry and Veggie Empanada

The latte was good. The empanada wasn't great (the cheese was clumpy). It was flavorful but could be so much better (the barista did warm it up slightly for me, but would have tasted great when hot). The guava-cheese pastry was decent but the guava jam was too sweet. Love the location and the picnic tables. Great service. Expected a lot more but was a good experience nevertheless. Parking: there is a public parking lot within a couple of minutes walking distance but it can get full really quickly on the weekends.

Hot vanilla latte & iced honey matcha latte!

This was my first time trying Zaca's and it did not disappoint!!!!! I wanted to try something different from my usual go-to and this place might just take the spot. I ordered a hot vanilla latte and my girlfriend ordered an iced honey matcha latte, both were 10/10! The service was excellent, both the barista and cashier were super friendly. I'm ready for my next visit here

Cute little coffee trailer with some outdoor seating! I ordered an iced honeysuckle matcha. It was a little wait because only one person was doing everything. It was sweet, but once all mixed together the matcha overpowered the honeysuckle syrup flavor. I love that they have outdoor picnic tables to enjoy your coffee and the space is decorated very cute. They are also dog friendly.

5/5 -- Great vibes, amazing coffee, perfect pit stop Zaca Coffee is such a hidden gem in Santa Barbara. I stumbled upon it while staying nearby and was immediately drawn in by the chill outdoor seating and friendly setup. The coffee trailer is tucked along a quiet street, but don't let the low-key vibe fool you -- the coffee here is legit. I ordered both an iced coffee and a hot latte -- both were incredibly smooth, rich, and well-balanced. The baristas clearly know what they're doing. They even served it with a little flair in the latte art What made it even better was the outdoor setup -- shaded tables, good music, and games like giant Connect Four if you're in the mood to hang out for a bit. It's the kind of place where you can sit and soak in the Central Coast sunshine without any rush. Also, big shoutout for having space to sit and a nice mix of people just enjoying the day. If you're heading through SB, especially the downtown area, I highly recommend stopping by Zaca Coffee for a quality cup and good energy.

The latter was the best in the area. Tried them all and enjoyed the latte here the most.

Ho. lee. Sheeeee…read more... The tacos came out naked, on paper plates, which was actually the taqueria experience I'd been looking for (it's Milpas, so, options...). Still, there's clearly a post-millennial, new generation vibe to the place, digital screen menus, slightly limited menu (no conventional chicken filling), 20-something brothers running the place, so I'd changed my expectations. For a second I was disappointed, before I remembered my original expectations. Then I got a good look at the house-made tortillas (pics posted). When I got to the salsa bar, I did another double take. Is that...? PEANUT salsa, bro. Spicy. Done, I'm done. I've got nothing else.

Standout was the rajas con queso -- genuinely one of the best versions I've had, and somehow even better from the truck than the diner. Also tried pastor, cabeza, carnitas, and shrimp, and every single one delivered. No weak link on the menu. What I appreciate about Pipeye is that it's not a tourist-line spot -- it's the kind of place locals actually recommend when you ask. I posed that exact question to a Mexican family, and after a beat of consideration, their answer was Tacos Pipeye. That tracked with everything I'd already experienced. If you're comparing SB taco spots -- La Super-Rica gets the tourist attention, but ask around and you'll hear El Bajío and Lilly's come up just as often among people who eat here regularly. Pipeye belongs in that conversation too, and for me, it's currently at the top. Diner and food truck both worth seeking out. Will be back next visit.

Back to table service! Yay!!!…read more Attractive and very clean restaurant with great service. Truly delicious Mexican food. I love pozole - Cc's rendition is top notch and comes with all the extras to put in the soup including avocado, chopped onion, a whole fried tortilla to break up into the broth and Mexican oregano (the small is more than enough for one hungry person or to share with two).Homemade chips come with a four salsa selection ranging substantially hot to a delicate tomatillo green. I tried my tablemate's tacos, all three varieties were very very good. I've had takeout from here, but it's really worth going in person because the food is nuanced and best when piping hot as it's made.

It was featured on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list but started off as a pop-up. You get in line and order your food. Then you get a buzzer that rings when your food is ready. They have some dedicated seating for customers but you can sit anywhere in the public market. We got the al pastor ($6.95) and coliflor ($7.95) tacos. The sizes were bigger than normal but I thought they could've used a little salt and the al pastor was a little tough. The sal de mar ceviche ($23.95) could've used more salt and lime but it was still refreshing with the watermelon. For drinks both the passionfruit margarita ($21) and hibiscus margarita ($24) were good. You can ask for their three salsas of varying spice levels. The food and drinks were on the pricier side too but we didn't think the quality matched the price.
