Cute little coffee spot in the area. I stopped by when showing my family around town for some coffee. There were a ton of seating but all taken up by remote workers. Each person took up two tables or entire couches which was really annoying. They also didn't have any seating outside so my boyfriend and I ended up sitting on the chair by the bar and my parents shared a couch with one of the remote workers. Overall, it's a cute place and coffee was good but it seemed like it was a coffee place mainly for remote workers rather than one of those places you can sit and have a coffee with family and friends. I don't know if the case is different on other days but this was on a Monday, so I guess that's why maybe. The coffee itself was good. I ordered the iced mocha which I liked. My parents got the hot mocha and iced vanilla latte which they enjoyed, and my boyfriend got an iced tea which he thought was okay.

Highly recommend the Yemen signature drink (has coconut flakes and roasted marshmallow at the side) and their everything bagel . Their service is great and the coffees came out fast . The ambiance is calm and informal .

Even though the shop is way smaller than what it looks on the photo, it still has nice and sweet vibes inside. It's super clean, nice, quiet and honey inside. Loved the photos from Burning Man too. I tried a BBQ panini, Yumen latte and my friend tried salmon bagel. Overall we were pretty happy with the food- both the taste and presentation. My panini was delicious- broccoli, cheese and mayo like sauce instead was yummy! I also very enjoyed the drink- it had a coconuty taste with light notes of condensed milk- super cool! My friend liked the bagel too, even though it was rather plain. It was Sunday and it was packed- lots of people there for coffee, and a lot of people studying. Easy to find parking though

Great service, setting and food & beverages. We had lox & bagel, avocado toast, honey lavender latte and a hot cocoa. We sat at the bar as it was a bit packed inside with most tables taken and a line at times (a Saturday late morning visit). Healthy and delicious options!

Love this Caje! Looks like a Bartop/plant store inside, small seating area but comfortable to sit for a while. I just love the beauty and the ambiance of this particular location. Every coffee that we ordered was amazing, great taste, not too sweet and the presentation was amazing. One of the best coffees I've tasted in a long time.

    Burnout

Came here looking at the good reviews. Barista suggested getting the burnout. The coffee was really good. It was more like a cocktail (which justified the price). Parking can be a bit difficult. We were lucky to find a spot right out front.

Panini, bagel, almond croissant, cappuccino, cortado, and the Yemen.

You know what I love in a coffee shop? A place that nails the classics while also offering creative signature drinks of their own. Bonus points when the breakfast is actually good too and this spot delivered on both. I'll admit, the signature drinks are a little pricey. Paying $11 for a coffee with a toasted marshmallow on the side definitely had me questioning my life choices for a second... but honestly coffee was good. The gals taking our order were ok...Ambiance was nice but it did feel a bit tight in there. The breakfast was well done-- the almond Croissant was amazing, and the cortado was perfectly made. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

    Regular matcha and rose matcha

I don't know what kind of magic almond milk they make, but my almond milk matcha was the best I've ever had! Not too sweet, but the perfect flavor. My husband got the rose speciality matcha and that was amazing too. Cannot wait to come back... I've had matcha at all the coffee shops around state street and I have to say that this one was my favorite.

Stumbled across this place as I walked down State Street. I popped in and was immediately impressed with the atmosphere- gorgeous water fountain with wooden tables nicely spread out. Open, airy vibe with greenery sprayed around the walls and ceiling, with lights and beautiful pink flowers too. Service is friendly and quick. They offer specialty coffee and drinks to get your day going. They also have a small but mighty menu of food options (bagels, avocado toast, and yogurt granola bowl). I had their Greek Yogurt bowl (10/10) - it was seriously the best! The granola was fresh and crunchy, and the fruit was sweet, with great color and sweet natural flavor! Every bite was incredible. (The dabs of honey really added a nice zip). I also had their caramel latte, iced. Come relax outside under a canopy of green and pink and just sip and savor the self-care time.

Is it coffee or a cocktail?! Caje has very creative and well crafted coffee drinks that looks like something you might be served at a bar , but instead it's the one of best coffee drink sans alcohol :). We oreded the " burnout " specialty drink and it was so delicious! So easy to drink . I will say it was definitely higher cost for a coffee drink but it's an experience so enjoy . We also got a toasted bagel with cream cheese, it was good but quite ordinary. Super dog friendly people here , nice service and cool little neighborhood in SB .

On our recent trip to Santa Barbara, I tried Caje Coffee Roasters. I ordered the Bella Rose and it was both beautiful and delicious. I'm not usually a big fan of matcha, but this one really surprised me--in a good way. It was smooth, well-balanced, and not overly earthy, which made it easy to enjoy. Overall, a great drink and a nice spot worth checking out when in the area.

I wish we had a caje in the bay! The space is warm and inviting and intimate. Even with the simple opinions with bagels I was taken aback by how good everything was. The coffee options they recommended were great. Wish we would've had more time to have a second visit before we left town.

We went once to pick up sandwiches, then dropped in last month for an easy Friday lunch. It's been a valuable addition to our Santa Barbara rotation. We will probably take out more than we dine in, but our sit-down lunch was quite pleasant. The shop is small and charming, and it has a lovely patio with full table service. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. We ordered two glasses of Prà Otto Soave, a nice Italian white. Such a treat to have wine on a patio with a sandwich lunch. I've tried a handful of the sandwiches, and all of them have been great. I'd highly recommend the finocchiona, with fennel salami, fresh pecorino, artichoke cream, and eggplant. The capocollo is good too, with coppa salami, spicy pecorino, arugula, and extra virgin olive oil. My husband's go-to is the caprese, a solid sandwich with cured prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, basil, and extra virgin olive oil, though it does taste much better with balsamic vinegar, which our waiter was able to provide. On the hot side, I've enjoyed the porchetta, with pork belly roulade, provola, roasted peppers, and lemon dijon. Portions are on the small side, and the focaccia was better on our first visit (I'm guessing it was fresher that day), but overall, I've really liked the sandwiches. If you want Italian sandwiches in Santa Barbara, Olio Bottega is probably the place to get them. I look forward to my next lunch, whether it's at home or on that patio.
