I don't know what they need to do to fix that on yelp but this place is open for business and it is hopping because the food is amazing. Being a San Diegian, it's always so hard to find Carne Asada Tacos like they make it back home, but this place truly knocked it out the park. I found this place on a whim while i was on vacation from RI, and everyone was so friendly and helpful with service, i definitely will be saving this place for the future. Driving back to Detroit from northern Michigan, I decided I wanted something for dinner other than the typical I-75 exit options. I hopped on yelp and found ZacaTacos in Bay City, just a few minutes off the freeway. Best decision ever! Excellent taqueria (with tons more on the menu). I opted for tacos al pastor with pineapple, shredded chicken, and birria, all with corn soft shells. Free chips and salsa came with the meal. The birria taco was my favorite, but all were great. The meat tasted fresh, great portion sizes, fresh veggies, too, and mild salsa. I will definitely come back. read more

Five Stars. The Al Pastor tacos are my favorite. Amazing flavor and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the rice and beans with whatever you order. I've never been a huge fan of beans, but these beans are life changing. My second favorite taco is the Shrimp taco, again they were cooked perfectly, not tough or rubbery. Local owner/operator who works in the kitchen, just ask his wife who is working the front of the house. Bravo! read more

Clean little corner place with a big menu. We had a variety of things. The al pastor tacos and carnitas tacos both on corn tortillas were our favorites. Beans were good. Generous amount of roasted, shredded chicken on the nachos supreme. It had melted white cheese which was ok but would rather have melted yellow, which is really very American and not Mexican at all. We thought we found a new favorite Mexican restaurant here but on our thrid trip I ordered the steak burrito and five minutes after eating it I got violently sick. We called the restaurant to report it so others wouldn't get sick and spoke with Carlos the owner and all he was interested in was what we wanted, our money back or future free meals. Tried this spot for the first time today. Appears to be a small family owned venue. The staff was very friendly. As soon as I sat down I was given a fresh plate of chips & salsa. The salsa was almost perfectly seasoned. There was a very nice ambiance within the restaurant itself, reminding me of a movie setting. I was given a menu and immediately became delighted with the prices. Upon receiving my quesadilla and two tacos I was delighted again by the generous portions. I forget the name but I ordered a marinated pork quesadilla. It was thick and rich with an astonishing amount of meat for only $10! The two tacos were traditionally dressed with cilantro and came with limes and some kind of green salsa which was absolutely wonderful for the tacos. They were only 3.50 a piece. This place is a gem of culture in bay city. I'll be recommending this to all my friends! read more
