I can't say the food was bad though but it was very greasy. Let me give examples - The home made crazy sauce is decent but greasy. The mashed potatoes flavorful and greasy. The main course steak filet medallions, cooked correct, presented well, covered in grease. My margarita you are probably thinking how can a drink be greasy well guess what I went to pick it up -Literally a layer of grease on the glass. I really had high hopes for this experience but not only did they forget about my To-Go order but they also didnt read the ticket and prepared it on a plate then flipped it upside in the box once someone corrected the cook. Its ABSOLUTELY NOT worth the $22 that I paid nor the 20% tip that I gave. And to add insult to injury, the grilled peppers & onions are still on the entree after I requested NO Peppers or Onions. I would ask for a remake but Im afraid Id get something that I doesnt come on the menu. Good thing I tried it before I brought my hubby for a dinner date. Well, we've wanted to try this place for quite some time. Turns out... today was the day. We went for dinner on a Saturday evening. The place was busy, not overly busy. Just what you would expect for a Saturday. We were seated promptly and our order was taken promptly. Then we waited, and waited, and waited... nearly 45 minutes for our food to come out. I mean come on. It's a Mexican restaurant that bills itself as a bit upscale. I ordered the ribeye with an add on of grilled shrimp and my wife ordered the steak fajita's. I have to admit. THAT Ribeye was absolutely fantastic! The grilled shrimp were also very good. Not $10 up charge good, but good. My wife's fajitas were just kind of ho hum. Nothing special whatsoever. In the end, with tip and zero alcoholic beverages our bill was just shy of a $100. For an "upscale" Mexican dinner. There are much better Mexican Food alternatives for that kind of money in Bay City. When the place is packed on a Friday night you know it's going to be good. Chips & salsa are not free but we got the recommend flight of salsa and we're pleased. Wife got the steak. Asked for mid. rare and that's exactly what she got. I got the chipotle chicken burrito. It was excellent. Not overstuffed with onions & peppers. White sauce was delicious. What a great location for a restaurant to be. Near the Saginaw Bay River walk, in walking distance from the Court Yard Bay City Hotel and has a great store front that draws you in. Happy hour is EVERYDAY 11-5pm. We were welcomed when we came in and the space was lovely. Very well decorated and the color choices just pop! We choose to sit at the bar and have our meal. We were greeted kindly by Mariah who took our drink order promptly. She was very kind, fun to talk with, helpful and fast with our orders. We normally drink a pitcher of margaritas but decided on individual glasses of the Krazy fresh margaritas for $12.00/ea. They definitely lived up to their name and came in the cutest kisses fish faced glasses. That was a first for me drinking a margarita out of that design. Our appetizer was the chicken empanadas that came out crispy and hot. The additional sauce drizzled across them was a nice touch to the dish. We also had chips with dipping salsa, crab dip, guacamole, and a hot sauce. The chips were hearty and the guacamole was my favorite. Although the crab was a close second! We shared one Mesquite grilled black Angus ribeye steak. It came out in a cutting board with grilled cabbage, peppers and onions. After a few more cocktails and shots that ribeye was so good we had to order a 2nd one to share. Trying to pick a favorite off the menu was tough. Everything sounded amazing so we made the choice from what we liked and were not disappointed. The manager Randy was super knowledgeable on the products and gave us some great suggestions. We left full and happy. Going to have to make it back to try the rest. Definitely found a new favorite spot to be in Bay City! Let's start with the customer service, the customer service was awesome. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were greeted with friendly smiles and top notch service. The ambiance was that of a Mexican style restaurant very true to the festival feel. Now the food! I had nachos for appetizers, a margarita flight, street tacos and street corn. The nachos were very tasty, the sauce was seasoned and the steak tender. The margarita flight was delicious and went well with our meal. The street tacos were on point; I had the chipotle chicken, vegetable and steak which paired great with the sauces that were given to go with the tacos. The street corn was okay, the sauce was a little too runny for my liking and the seasoning seemed to get lost in the sauce. Overall we loved the experience and the food. Definitely will recommend and we look forward to visiting again. read more

Went here Jan. 18, we had Burritos, Grilled Pork Chop and Lamb Chops. The Burritos were Brisket, good sized and quite good. The Pork Chops were flavorful but chewy. The Lamb Chops were good.The table service was good, the Food service was a little slow. We liked the furnishings, chairs comfortable. It was a little loud at times (serving the shareable Nachos), but the view is nice and the staff friendly. read more
