I have tried to get a live agent on the phone but that's impossible. Just on hold for over one hour

I would give 4-5 stars from my first experience with Zagg products because I purchased a glass screen protector from Best Buy and when I needed to replace it, they sent the replacement in a timely manner and it was a simple warranty claim. However, after purchasing another Zagg glass screen protector for my new iPhone 8 Plus on July 3rd, I had to replace the screen in August because of my clumsy dropping of the phone. They sent a replacement for my old iPhone 7, I called and they were to ship out the replacement. It took 6 weeks and I had to pay another $5 for shipping for some dumb reason they could not explain. Ok, $5 is insignificant I thought. Well 6 weeks later the screen finally arrived. I sent back the broken screen after they initially sent the wrong warranty replacement screen as I had taken it off before I knew the warranty replacement was for the wrong phone. Then 2 months later I get a charge on my debit card for $43. I called to inquire and they claim they did not get the screen back. Well, they would not get the iPhone 8 screen back on the second warranty screen sent out because I returned it when they initially sent the iPhone 7 replacement in error. They do not understand this by chat or phone. Now I have paid $5 shipping twice for a warranty replacement. Waited 6 weeks in between the initial warranty claim for the correct glass screen protector and now I paid another $43 for the warranty replacement. Product is GARBAGE! Cracked several times over a span of a few months. I sent in for the "free" replacement that I had to pay $5.99 to ship. Then the fraudulent company is trying to charge me $43.99 for a replacement I sent back to them. After talking to customer service they are claiming they did not remove money from my bank account. STEER CLEAR! UPDATE: This company has charged me $43.99 FOUR times for a replacement screen that I sent back. This entire company is a scam. Protection we all need it! Especially on our iPhones and this other cell phones. I first purchased a Zagg phone protector a couple of years ago. WOW, they are totally amazing the phone gets beat up from daily use but the screen is always intact! I must say they have "WORLD CLASS" customer service. I had a glass cover that started breaking around the edges and thought to myself... Self it will be fine then it kept progressing. I sent an email to Zagg, he next morning I received an email from one of the executives saying hey would have someone contact me immediately... Minutes later I get an email and they say the execs told her to make sure in taken care up and to upgrade my product to the GLASS ultra luxe incisors shield their new product. Worse customer service ever! Was on hold for over 1.5 hours (with that annoying music and recording that kept telling me I could order a screen saver replacement on-line! However, when I tried (repeatedly) to place a request online, I got a message that said "request denied" with no reason. Last time I'll EVER purchase one of their screensavers with "lifetime warranty". It's a LOT less hassle to just got to a store any buy a new screensaver than to deal with Zagg! read more

I purchased a Folio keyboard for my iPAD Air on Aug 6 2015. The hinge broke in 2 over the weekend and the company said sorry, its 13 months and warranty is 12 months. I'll be getting a replacement but not from Zagg. Update: Zagg contacted me the day after my initial post and said they would send a no charge replacement. Terrible customer service. I was originally very excited upon discovering the Zagg product line at a Washington Square Mall kiosk adjacent to the Apple Store. The employee at the kiosk was awesome & had him install an InvisibleShield for my iPad Pro. I saw the cases/keyboard combo kit but they didn't have the 10.2" in stock so he directed me to the website & I ordered it right there on the spot. I was so stoked about it that I paid the extra shipping fee of $24.99 for "Next Day" and did indeed notice that their version of "Next Day" was 1-2 days + processing. I figured they were creating a buffer for the expectations of a promptly delivered product the next day when in reality it was probably more like 2. I mean, it literally defines "Next Day" as 1-2 days! Buuuuut - That's not the problem - here's the problem: This order was placed on Monday, late morning. Funds were immediately debited from my account & order confirmation sent to my email. Here we are on Friday now & inputting the order # on Zagg.com reflects on my account that my order is still "processing," whatever the hell that means. I've talked to customer service twice and they are simply indifferent, failing to even acknowledge that at the very least my dissatisfaction with paying the maximum amount for expedited shipping doesn't even get my order to me as fast as standard delivery (ground) at USPS! I will never order or buy from this company again. Both interactions with their customer service agents could be a training model on what NOT TO DO as a customer service representative. I can only it reflects a deeper flaw in the company itself, whether it be their culture, training, treatment of their employees - doesn't matter. Love the product and the people on the phone, but not customer sevice by email because everyone is out to please me, but everyone gives me a different answer. I got 2 for my iPhone 6 pluses. My partners broke in about a year after buying. We took it into the store and it was replaced ASAP with no charge his second time I took it in and they said I need to order it online and pay shipping. Then bring it into the store and they will put it in. This is the first time the item I bought, that had a lifetime guarantee(what sold me on it). Broke I have to pay for replacement. If I knew this would happen I would have bought something else.....This was fixed over night. Guess it helps to complain here and social media. The battery on my new Zagg keyboard for mini-iPad stopped holding a charge about 6 weeks after I bought one at Best Buy. The store said to go to Zagg for a replacement and I got one in just a few days, after giving them a credit card number. I returned the bad keyboard the next day via USPS Priority mail. A month later I got an email saying they never received the returned keyboard and that I was about to be billed for the replacement they had provided. I called their customer service and she said they NEVER received the keyboard I sent. I gave the rep the tracking number and she finally said they were not going to bill me. My advice is to watch Zagg carefully--how does a customer service center "lose" a returned item when they log everything that comes in when it comes in. They just might be sending everyone such notices, and those who can't prove they returned the item get charged for the replacement. Its one way to keep warranty costs down. Zagg is definitely the best in terms of screen protectors. I read a couple of the reviews and have to say, i think their service is great. I just left the Fashion Place location; the one closest to the Apple Store. My experience was great! The rep was very knowledgeable, showed me the now four options and told me about the pros and cons of each. I went with the glass; it is pretty awesome. The most expensive, but it is like there is nothing there... In 5 min, I had a screen protector on my new 6 Plus. Why would anyone put one on their self when you can have a pro who does them all day long do it for you. Great product and service; your phone will be happy it has protection. read more

Zagg always treats me good. I have been going to this location since 2009, when they were still on the north side of the building. I like to switch phones and I always go here to get shields. They have their HD shield which is my favorite because the price is the most reasonable and it feels like there is nothing on, they also have an awesome lifetime warranty on their shields. Their product is waaaaay overpriced and customer servirce sucks. I bought one of these tempered glasses for my note 8 and it has been a total nightmare. I have installed tempered glasses in all my phones and never had any issues. The note 8 invisible shield glass just sucks and does not stick properly. I always get two Giant ugly bubbles on the side of the screen. I even went to the Zagg site and followed their instalation video and I always get the same unsightly bubbles on the sides. I went to a authorized zagg center in the mall. I had to pay 10 bucks for the warranty and the professional still got the two giant bubbles on the side of the screen. They said it was the best they could do. They did try several times and were getting frustrated while trying to install the glass. A few days later the entire zagg glass popped off the screen without me dropping it or anything. I did not want to hassle the poor dudes at the instalation center again and decide to use my registration to simply get another glass and do it myself. I never got a replacement despite having all my information and original packaging. I have sent several messages to corporate but they simply say they cannot help. While waitimg for my replacement, my phone fell one day and now I have a hairline crack in my lens. It is going to cost me 300 bucks to fix. Thanks a lot Zagg. We purchased 3 ZAGG GLASS shields for our new iPhone 6 and 2 iPhone 6plus in January 2015 at the Best Buy in St. Louis. Mine shattered on a drop. Fine. I contacted warranty service. They sent me a PLASTIC cover. Well, I needed a cover, so I attempted to put it on. It kept bubbling all over. I sent the glass shield back with a letter stating they had sent me the wrong shield. Mine had been GLASS. That is what I ordered as the replacement. After a day of still trying to put the plastic shield on my iPhone, I sent it back to ZAGG customer service in a white envelope with the original packaging and plastic shield. Now, over a month later, they send me an email saying they have not received my broken shield and will charge me for the replacement shield. This company does NOT deserve the hype it gets in the stores. The screen cracked easily, the replacement screen wasn't even the correct screen type and now they haven't received it? Please. I ordered a ZAGG Skin for my iPhone. One of the options was to upload your own photograph - which I did. Was I surprised when I opened my package to find a plain white skin! They shipped it to me blank. When I emailed them to find out why they stated that the image I uploaded didn't come out well on their site. I asked why I wasn't notified of this problem and they had no answer. My beef with them is that if they cannot ship your order to the specifications you requested then they should contact the customer and ask what they would like to do. Now I'm out over $30. I like to think I'm a fairly bright guy. This product may be a wonder. Can they make installation any more painful? First, find the shield? Ok, that's somewhat intuitive. Then, coat the sticky side and smear it over the face. But don't get any in the open ports! And, try to center it while one side is sticky and the other is sliding. And, if you're lucky enough to get the borders relatively close (and centered), then squeegee the solution all over. But, avoid the ports! And, make sure to wipe the overage before it creeps into the sides. And, don't get any on your hands. But, use your fingers to apply. But don't get any in your eyes. Then, turn off your device for 24 hours?? Really?? (What's the risk? Then, the consumer can make the cost-benefit analysis.) When I finally got it on my device, it was a wet and sticky/murky mess. I literally had to tear the thing off and toss it. Bye-bye $20. I found (much later) that Zagg provides installation videos, online! If they actually help, I'd suggest simply putting the URL in your paper directions. Because, the paper directions aren't helping. Waxing nostalgic.... I once had a simple "stick-on" shield, that took 10 seconds to apply. And did an admirable job for 2 years. I'm sure it's just me. read more

Worst company to deal with. They don't respond to emails. When they do, they don't know what they are doing. Just tried to order a cover for Galaxy Tab 10.1. Their site said they have it in stock. Ordered it. the site said 3-5 business day shipping. Waited till the 6th business day and called them. Their phone tree was annoying, kept trying to direct me to website to do things when their website doesn't do much and they don't respond to emails. Finally reached someone and they didn't seem to care what goes on. She tried to find out why the order was not shipped and told me that it was on back order and they didn't know when it would ship. I told them to cancel my order. She said they cancelled my order and asked me if I was interested in ordering anything else. Good products, but I will never order from their online store again. I ordered a ZAGGfolio case for my iPad 2 on March 17th, 2012. I got an e-mail that day saying that my order would ship March 19th. By March 21st I got an e-mail saying basically "Oh just kidding, we're pretty backed up so your order will ship between April 6th and 8th. We will e-mail you when it ships." So I think ok, fine, they are just busy now I can wait. Well Sunday April 8th rolls around and I haven't heard a thing from them. I called customer service today to see what was up and was told that ACTUALLY my product wouldn't ship until April 27th now. Over 5 weeks after the original order date. I WAS told that I would get a 50% discount, but 5 weeks is just too long, especially since not once did they initiate contact with me to let me know what was going on, I had to e-mail them four times and call to get any legitimate information. Going to cancel my order tomorrow and head to Best Buy to look for what I want. I will never order from their website again. read more

I purchased a Zagg Invisible Shield Protector for my new IPhone at the same time I purchased the phone and immediately registered the warranty (price, codes, everything that Zagg website required) the same day. Within a short time the shield cracked. Went on their web, ordered the replacement under the warranty, paid the $5. Sent the defective shield back as instructed, in the envelope and labeling they sent. Got notice close to four weeks later they had not received the defective shield. This is where the issue starts. Customer Service stated it should have been sent back with tracking. Not in their instructions. They were going to charge $35 me for the replacement shield and wanted me to provide the receipt from the original purchase. Which, by the way, was already registered on their website to activate the warranty. Took two days and many back and forth emails. FINALLY, as a COURTESY TO ME, they released my credit card. Long and short, keep all receipts forever if you want a replacement for $5, and send Registered mail. Keep an eye on your credit card statement, We will never deal with Zagg again. I just bought Invisible Shield for my new Ipad still in its sealed package. I followed the instructions and let it cure over night. I noticed scratches on the center of the screen. I can only imagine that this came from the squeegee process. I had plenty of solution on there an follow instructions from Zagg on YouTube. I found it odd that visible scratches already were on the "Lifetime Guarantee" product from the start. I looked online for the return or refund process. Its a bit complicated and confusing. To be honest, I want a refund. With the reviews and my personal experience I want my money back but according to Zagg I need to take this up with the retailer directly. One star implies that I am in some way at least a little bit satisfied with Zagg and their customer service...I would give "0" stars if I could. Zagg is tricky and manipulative. After a year and 2 replacements of my screen guard--suddenly my account showed that I was no longer able to request a replacement on the screen guard that had a "lifetime replacement warranty." I had to contact customer service to request a replacement. Once I did and I sent back my broken screen guard, Zagg claimed it was lost in the mail. With no proof of shipment or tracking, I was stuck with a fee for the replacement cost. I feel like this is what they were trying to do all along when the rendered my purchase unable to request a replacement. Zagg is a completely dishonest and manipulative company. They are totally shady and try to find ways to circumvent their so called "lifetime warranty replacement". If you decide to purchase from Zagg, do so with extreme caution. read more

I was sold a Zagg glass screen protector for my iPhone 7 by the phone store. Original one was great but ended up cracked after a phone drop shortly after purchasing it. Requested a replacement through the lifetime warranty program and was a little put off that I had to pay $5.99 for shipping but went ahead and ordered the "free" replacement anyway. Just got it in the mail today and installed it on my phone and the new one is horrible! Not at all like the original high quality glass screen protector. This new one is cheap, flimsy bendable plastic that was a huge pain to install and, despite following the directions to the letter, is now bubbled and useless. I have purchased two Ipad keyboards Folio's. The first one...the hinge broke after about 7 months. The second one the hinge broke after about 6 months. When I contacted Zagg they told me that it is a year from when I got the first one for the warranty and that they don't repair their products. So it leave me with nothing but a broken keyboard. I have had to replace 2 Zagg Folio Keyboard Cases in less than 1 year. After reading reviews, I see that this product has an ongoing problem with its hinge that attaches the keyboard to the screen. Same problem I had with both of these keyboards. In order to return the product, Zagg requires customer to pay for return of the product. Total ripoff. I will now trash this item and buy another product that stands behind their product. Zagg needs to stop selling an inferior product. read more

I have had to replace two screen protectors and both times the customer service was great! They were having trouble with their website so I ended up having to call to resolve the problem and because of that they waved the shipping costs both times. I received the replacement screen only a few days later. The first time I called I am not sure who I spoke with but the second time I spoke with LeeRoy T. in customer service and not only was he extremely helpful he was also a complete delight to speak with. I would recommend this company to everyone! Customer service is such a huge part of a successful business and so many companies seem to not put enough focus on customer satisfaction, however Zagg Inc has excelled in this area.
