Dr. Hamid is knowledgeable and informed about human health. The first and second time I visited Dr. Hamid, things went smoothly. Except when he said he was referring me for bariatric surgery, without knowing my medical history or medical conditions which is causing the weight issues. Since then, each visit I have been scheduled, he has not shown up to the office fr the appointment. Staff looked shocked that a patient would be offended that the doctor was late. There is only one God, and doctors are not. We, as patients, are expected to be on time or pay a fee. What if we started charging the doctors' offices for our time that we must wait. I do understand that there are times that practices will run behind, but this should not be the norm. Yes, I will be locating a new primary care doctor. I had 3 referrals from Dr. Hamid and each referral had a different health insurance written in, all of which were incorrect. The doc is a nice person but the office is a train wreck. I for one took my brother there he has a history of strokes, high blood pressure that other doctors could not control and was hospitalized for A brain aneurysm. I was referred to Dr. Hamid and decided to take a chance. I LOVE DR. HAMID !!! He really cares about his patients, NEVER rushes thru to get to the next patient, explains everything about his treatments and is open for Q&A. Worst Dr. I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. He knew I was very sick 3.5 years ago, and never bothered to tell me. He sure made a lot of money prescribing drugs I didn't need, for conditions I never had. Then, at my last appt., he mocked me, called me a drunk, told me he wasn't going to bother to treat my condition because I can't afford it, in his opinion. Then there's the waiting room. This doctor only looks out to try to get money from his patience I believe he even charges insurance companies and thinks that everyone is stupid. If you have an appointment with him expect to wait at least an hour he does not take much time with his patients but wants to chitchat as it's just a little Four room facility with one nurse that he depends on to do most of his work he just wants to make the money as it seems he really just works part time but definitely gets a triple check I would not recommend him and now I know why the reviews are so poor, this Dr. is a poor doctor and gives poor care... Hello all I have an autoimmune disease which I am already being treated for . I also have fibromyalgia and neuropathy along with a few other things . I was seen by Dr. Hamid today who was so rude I couldn't believe it . He told me that it's not possible for a 27yr old girl to have neuropathy and I don't have an autoimmune disease but he does think I have the fibromyalgia . I have had ALOT of blood work in the past year here in Vegas and also at UCLA and all has already confirmed that I do have autoimmune disease and two EMGs to show that I do have neuropathy . I'm now sure what he was looking at but who knows lol .. Then after all of that he tells me I can't help you why don't you look for another Doctor .. Are you KIDDING me ... The Dr and staff are fine, but the Waiting times are horrible. The problem is in their intake process. I have had appts ahead of others by 15 to 45 minutes, but if they arrive ahead of me, they get seen first. So appt times are just suggestions apparently. You will wait and wait if the senior citizens that don't have much else to do, get seen before you because they were dropped off early. I have to take time off from work to go to the Dr. and it would be nice to be seen within a reasonable amount of time (15 minutes or less) of my appt time. My suggestion is that they don't go by their sign in sheet for first in first out, and respect their own appointment times. read more

Wow!! Just read some very negative reviews concerning Dr. Hamid and staff. I am sorry that they had such a bad experience and hope they have found the Medical help they need. It is impossible to please everyone so if you would induldge me and read my entire review I believe you hopefully will consider seeing Dr. Hamid. A little history about me. I am a 66 year old male, moved here from Texas in May 2016 and did not have a PCP. Was in the US Army and was in combat in Vietnam, then spent 25 years in Law Enforcement with the third largest Sheriff's Department in the U.S. I have had four major spinial fusion surgeries, heart attack and found out I have prostate cancer on 2/23/17. So I hope this will give some validity to my review. Since 2011 my feet became numb and as of today the numbess has moved to just above my knees in both legs. Also I have severe nerve pain in both legs with muscle weakness. I am unable to do any cardio workout as the pain becomes so severe in my legs it is impossible. I have been to so many Doctors in Texas and now in Las Vegas to get a diagnosis I had just about given up till I saw Dr. Hamid. Dr. Hamid had several tests done on me to try and find out what was causing the numbness and severe nerve pain in both legs. Since all the Doctors before, and there were over ten, overlooked my conditions and did nothing. Dr. Hamid treated me for my pain but more importantly he referred me to Standford Medical Center in Palo Alta, CA because he said that a team of Doctors would review all my symtoms, not just one and would derive a treatment plan specific to my conditions. This was a huge game changer. I went and now I have a clear treatment plan. So all the Doctors in the past did not know what I had or how to treat it, they just told there was nothing that could be done. Dr. Hamid did what no other Doctor has done, he referred me to the best Doctors and did not let his pride or whatever you would like to call it cloud his judgement. His only concern was for me and he did everything to get me treatment. Dr. Hamid is the best PCP or Doctor I have ever dealt with. He is very compassionate, spends whatever time it takes with me, and is very friendly with a sense of humor also. As for his staff, Leti, Loreto, Zee, Charr they are great, are they perfect and make no mistakes no because they are like the rest of us, they are human beings. His staff shows compassion and really care about there patients, what they have done for me and continue to do I have never experienced with any other Doctors Office staff. I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a PCP with other skills also will see Dr. Hamid. Sure I have waited about an hour to see him at times, the reason, he spends the time needed with each of his patients instead of the normal five to ten minutes other Doctors do. read more

The front office girls are over worked since he fired the office manager (Zee). He even has the nurse (Jasmine) answering the phone. When calling the office, there are times I have been on hold for 20 minutes - just to schedule an appointment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only problem was the 3 hr time frame I was there. They allowed some woman with a couple of patients go before patients with appts. I am trying to find a Primary doctor and was referred by my Surgery Dr. I'm wondering if he knows about this problem there. This place still sucks. Dr. Hamid is ok as a doctor (he comes in everyday at 10AM, so if your appt is before that, then your wait will be loooong). The main problem is the staff! Everytime, and i mean every damn time, we call, we're placed in hold for more than 10 mins. Ond time it went all the way to 25mins! One time they said they forgot I was on hold.
