Check your bills closely--this office is pocketing FALSE fees…read more I liked this place for their service, but they have repeatedly tried to overcharge us. Both my husband and I were asked to pay a $50 insurence "deposit" before standard cleanings. I have never been charged this so I contacted Delta Dental who explicitly confirmed to me that this is against their policy. Cleaning are always free - you should only pay deposits for other extra services after you get them. They also sneak in a $25 fluoride treatment without permission (which isn't covered by adult insurance). Fluoride is a treatment that legally requires patient permission. Even after explicitly declining it for my second visit and having it noted on my chart, they still billed me for it. Getting my refunds took weeks of annoying phone calls. On top of that, they never honored a promised $50 referral bonus, ghosting me whenever I brought it up. I won't be returning; a patient shouldn't have to constantly police their dentist's shady billing tactics.

Since I was 11 years old I've been uncomfortable with my smile. I always thought it was something that I had to accept as a teenager,young adult. Until that is I met Dr. Elizabeth Castaneda. I hadn't seen a dentist in over 6 years due to my lack of love for my smile. But then with the constant PUSHING from my sister and my parents I decided to go. I had a couple of cavities to get out of the way but luckily it was minor and everything else was good to go. On my last visit to get my final cavity squared away she asked me how I felt about the tetracycline stains on my front tooth. I told her I was uncomfortable with it but I was too afraid to do anything cosmetically without retaining a conservative look. So Dr. Castaneda pulled out her magic dentist wand and lightly bonded my front tooth and gently filed the bottom of my upper teeth so that they were "Even Steven." The whole process took only 25 minutes and she was done I was simply amazed at how remarkable yet conservative the improvement was. I told her thank you and stated that dentists have a bad rap. You think all they do it drill drill drill which they do, but they're also artists that have the compassion and the skills to change people lives and make them feel better about their smile. During my first visit, they used advanced technology to examine my teeth, which made the experience much more comfortable compared to past dental visits. Because I needed more extensive care due to my lack of flossing, I had to schedule a separate appointment for a deep cleaning. That experience also went really well. The dentist was warm, reassuring, talked me through the process, and truly got down and dirty with my plaque haha. Overall, I felt cared for and comfortable throughout the process. The first time I review this company, I was very pleased. I made a follow up appointment for cleaning and on three occasions I attempted to come to have my teeth cleaned. My hygienist who I liked very much was unavailable. They scheduled me for another hygienist. When I came in, they said she or he had gone for the day and the doctor was gonna do my cleaning. I don't know if any of you have ever had the actual doctor do your cleaning, but they don't have the techniques that the hygienist have and I have felt pain and my gums bled and the cleaning was not efficient. So when they told me the doctor was gonna do my cleaning. I said no way I need to reschedule. Once again they put me on the calendar. I have no idea if it's with my hygienist or with some other person and they say their office opens at 8 o'clock. Great Experience for My Mom's Dental Visit…read more I came here with my mom after she was assigned to this dental provider. The office is small but very clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Parking is street-only, so it might not be the easiest right in front--but there was plenty available just across the street. We didn't mind the short walk at all--it was actually kind of nice. My mom was checked in quickly, and they diagnosed her dental issues right away. Everything went smoothly, and so far, I've had no problems with the office or the staff. Most importantly, my mom was happy with the care she received--and that says a lot. This is now her regular dentist, and I feel confident knowing she's in good hands.
