I was referred here for some dental pain, and I have to admit--I get a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist because of past experiences. But from the moment I walked in, Dr. Gabbay made me feel completely at ease. He has such a warm, reassuring presence (and a great smile!). Extremely cold and rude office staff. Had a 1:00 appointment for first time visit consult. Showed up at 12:45 and the door was locked. No sign, no posted hours, nothing. Someone walked up at about 12:55 and unlocked the door and walked in. Saw me standing in hallway waiting, but did not say a word. I waited until 1:00 on the dot before I actually went in. Front desk did not say hello, did not welcome me at all as a new patient/ client. Just asked for a form of ID and told me to have a seat and wait. Got called back for x-rays. Not a word was said to me by anyone until the doctor walked in to discuss my situation. After quoting me over $2,000.00 out of pocket for a procedure that had minimal chance of success, I left and told them "no thanks"! Very cold and unwelcoming atmosphere by staff. I'd rather pay to have tooth pulled! read more

Dr Gabbay was great! He was very personable & kind to me. I went for a root canal & it was the best root canal experience ever! Now where do they say that at?? Crazy work!!! I had a referral from my primary dentist for a root canal that was tricky due to my tooth configuration and a bridge. The office staff couldn't have been better in getting me set up quickly for the appointment. The office is very nicely set up and outfitted. I did not have to wait long when I arrived. I was also, after X-rays, was able to get the diagnosis quickly that confirmed what my primary dentist had referred me for. They were able to perform the root canal procedure right away, successfully, painlessly (after the numbing injection ) and professionally. I was in and out in a little over an hour. At 62, I needed my first ever root canal and I was panicked! You rarely hear stories of how well a root canal goes, just the horror stories, so I was really shaken. But Dr Vahora and staff were very nice and explained everything. Once I was numb, I felt no pain or discomfort at all. The best part was the use of a dental damn. It allowed me to relax and not have to worry about bits and pieces falling onto my tongue or down my throat or saliva needing to be suctioned. I was basically separated from the procedure.
