Just the best in Los Angeles and Orange County Dentist!!! Very Professional and Organized. I highly recommend this Dentist.

The employees are so rude, I went to take my kids and they was calling them on the front desk with a bell that they have, a employee come out really rude trying to take the bell out and being Rude with my kids, I was there so if it's any problem I was expecting them to talk to me, especially when two of the employees come out on a really bad.

I have been going to him for years now and have always been happy with his service. The place is very clean always and staff is great! !He is professional yet kind and takes care of your teeth with care. I recently fell down the stairs and had to get a flipper tooth. It is my front tooth so I have been very insecure about it and have been walking around for the last few months with my mask on everywhere. Dr. Ha made sure he sent my tooth (partial) to be fixed the way I wanted it to look because hey, it is my front tooth! I now feel confident to walk around smiling without having to be embarrassed. Thanks Dr. Ha! Your the best Dentist!

I've been looking for a good dentist that was gentle because I get mildly anxious when it's time for dental work. I polled lots of people on the next door app and asked around; and I was pointed in the direction of Dr Troy Ha. When I called to schedule the appointment I was not surprised When the office assistant said the dentist was booked out 4 weeks. She gave options for walk in but I decided to make and appointment. Before my appointment day came my 10 year old son was tripped at school and chipped his front tooth. I proceeded to Dr Troy Has office for a walk in. The front office manager was friendly and told us to fill out some forms. She said there was only one patient ahead of us. Could this be my lucky day? Indeed it was. 30-45 minutes later we were walking into the back for the work to begin. I was so nervous and I wasnt even getting the work done. Dr Ha was so gentle with my son. He gave him a couple of shots to numb the pain and to my surprise he wasn't complaining too much. :) My appointment is coming up this Saturday and I don't feel as nervous. More to come.

I had chipped a few teeth and Dr. Ha fixed it to perfection!

The front office and all the staff are personable and professional, and Dr. Lee is very good at his job and explains everything very well. When I've had a lot of work done at once, they checked on me over the following days, making sure everything was healing as it should. I wish I could afford to switch to them for everything!

But in this case, I feel it's important to share. I came to this office years ago after moving to Cerritos, right before my wedding, simply looking for a new dentist and a routine cleaning. They had great reviews, which is why I trusted them. From the start, I was told I had extensive issues--multiple cavities needed to be redone and several crowns were recommended. This was surprising to me, as I've consistently gone to the dentist and had never been told I needed such drastic work. Still, I trusted their assessment. The procedures that followed were some of the most painful dental experiences I've ever had. They took hours, felt extremely aggressive, and left me in severe pain afterward--far beyond what I've ever experienced with dental work. I have a high pain tolerance, and this felt very wrong. What was most frustrating was what happened next. I returned multiple times explaining that I couldn't sleep, eat, or function due to the pain. Each time, my concerns were dismissed and attributed to things like not flossing (umm I couldn't floss because of the extreme pain), which didn't make sense given the level of pain I was in. After pushing back repeatedly--especially with my wedding just days away--I insisted something was seriously wrong and requested further evaluation. It turned out I needed three root canals as a result of their prior work. Separately, the crowns that were placed caused ongoing issues. Eating anything with texture would cause gum pain, and I noticed unusual gaps that trapped food. When I brought this up, I was told the only solution was to redo the crowns at additional cost. My crowns also came off. Later, I happened to see a different dentist at the same office (a female provider who may have been temporary), and she immediately noted that the crowns had been placed at an awkward angle. She corrected them, and since then, I've had no pain and no further issues such as crowns falling off. I ultimately switched dentists and have not needed any major dental work since--just routine cleanings every six months, with no recurring problems. Based on what I went through--particularly the aggressive treatment, the outcome, and the dismissal of my concerns--I feel it's important for others to have full context before making a decision.

One of my first experiences after the transition was when I scheduled an appointment with my longtime dentist, Dr. Aguilar. Instead, I was seen by another provider without any notice. She immediately began aggressively working under my gums without explaining what she was doing. It was so painful that I finally stopped her and asked, "What are you doing? You haven't explained anything to me?" That experience was upsetting enough that I requested never to be scheduled with her again. Another frustrating experience occurred when I scheduled an appointment online for a teeth cleaning, an exam, and impressions for a night guard. After my cleaning, which was performed by a male fill-in dentist, the receptionist told me that neither Dr. Aguilar nor the fill-in dentist had time to perform my exam because they needed to go to lunch. I explained that I had taken time off work specifically for this appointment, but it made no difference. Her exact response was, "You can't expect them not to eat lunch." While I certainly don't expect anyone to skip lunch, I do expect my appointment to be scheduled appropriately so that the services I booked are actually provided. Since then, I have repeatedly come in for cleanings, including an earlier-than-normal cleaning that I requested and my regular six-month cleaning. In both cases, no exam was performed. At my last cleaning, around 5:30 p.m., I asked why I hadn't been examined. The assistant casually said, "Did you want me to get the dentist?" By that point, it was clear the office was wrapping up for the day, so I declined. Regular exams should not depend on whether a patient remembers to ask for one. To make matters worse, the night guard I received cracked completely after only about three weeks of use. I called at the end of June to report it and was told someone would follow up. Three weeks passed with no response. I called again and was apologized to and promised a call back by the end of the day. Again, nothing. When I called a third time, instead of apologizing and working toward a solution, the office manager, Bianca, argued with me and insisted their notes showed that I had refused my exams. It would've been very simple for the manager to apologize for all of the issues and try to accommodate me in some way, but instead, she chose to challenge me. While I've had positive experiences with Dr. Aguilar and with an occasional fill-in dentist from another office, the quality of care has become hit or miss depending on who you happen to see. The inconsistency, combined with the poor communication and lack of follow-through, has been extremely disappointing. After more than 20 years as a loyal patient, I expected much better. It's sad to see a practice I once trusted decline to the point where I no longer feel confident recommending it.

Instead, from the moment I walked in, the front office staff had poor attitudes and made the experience uncomfortable. Almost immediately, they began pushing a 3-D imaging service and asked me to sign a consent form. Be cautious you do not have to agree to additional imaging if you are not comfortable. I was told I had multiple cavities. That alone shocked me.. After spending nearly four hours there, they claimed I needed a $500 deep cleaning and an additional $2,000 worth of dental work. What made things worse, I brought my daughter with me. Her teeth are in great condition, yet they attempted to charge for a routine cleaning even with my PPO. She only had X-rays and the 3-D imaging. I had to specifically request a routine cleaning for her, for a routine visit. They were taking so long. We didn't even get it. Some of the staff was outside drinking a coffee while we were waiting. Feeling uneasy, I sought a second opinion with another dentist using the same Delta PPO insurance. The second office found ZEROcavities, and my co-pay was only $100 for deep cleaning . They confirmed I did not need the extensive work that was recommended. That was extremely concerning. Even after spending hours there, nothing was actually done besides imaging, and I left feeling misled and pressured. They definitely overbuild. I agree with all the reviews that state that. They ended up charging me $60 for this visit and literally only did imaging. I do not recommend booking an appointment here. Please consider getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major treatment plans. Also be prepared to wait, and poor customer service. Unacceptable.
