I was referred to Dr. Sadek and wasn't excited about having a root canal, but I was pleasantly, so surprisingly thrilled with the process and the outcome. I was very impressed by the immediate care I received after making an appointment. Mary was in touch with me and said I could call anytime, 24/7, before my appointment if I was experiencing any issues. She was so sweet and comforting. Dr. Sadek explained the process in detail and answered all my questions. I think I fell asleep a couple of times because my leg would twitch and wake me up. Lol. Where should I begin. The overall experience with Dr. Ahmed Sadek was great. He explained in details the source of what was causing my bone loss. A root canal procedure was done which helped to cease the spread of the bone loss being caused due to a traumatic crack my molar had that led to an infection. After 3 months, I went for a follow up appointment and received great news when Dr Ahmed did another X-ray and showed almost 90% of bone growth that was not expected until 6 months possibly. I couldn't be more satisfied with my whole experience at Marina Endodontics! From start to finish I received top notch care from everyone there. Mary helped me book the appointment and explained everything to expect during the first visit. She knew the urgency I had in getting an appointment soon because I had a family gathering approaching and the tooth in question was a front tooth! I had such anxiety that I would lose this tooth and Mary was so kind and comforted me through it all. She even came back during my procedure to hold my hand during the numbing process. She made sure to update me through out and let me know an estimate for how much time I had left during the treatment. Dr.Sadek seemed confident from our initial meeting that he could save my tooth and explained to me what that procedure would look like. Dr. Sadek is a MASTER. This is the person you want to see if you need a root canal...especially if it's a second one on the same tooth. My daughter had a root canal that failed so we were referred to Dr. Sadek. He has the most high tech equipment, and his skill at using these items to rectify a situation is unmatched. When my daughter's tooth was hurting for a third time, I was thinking, let's just pull this thing. We can't go through this again...but our oral surgeon was hesitant and said we needed to go back to Dr. Sadek. I didn't want to do that because I was sure the root canal had failed again, but I listened. I called the office, explained the situation, and they had me come over right away even though they were closing! (They stayed open an extra hour for us!) The lovely and kind technician did the 3D x-ray, and then Dr. Sadek showed us the before x-rays from two years ago compared to now. Her inner tooth was perfect! The bone growth far exceeded what was expected. Can you believe I almost had them pull a perfectly healed tooth? Ugh, bad mom moment. Turns out she was grinding her teeth and since that tooth sat higher than the rest, it was taking the brunt. Dr. Sadek figured all this out for us so we got a temporary mouth guard and it's already better! I can't thank them enough. Dr. Sadek saved my tooth when he performed a much needed root canal where most of the bone was lost surrounding the tooth. I had been dealing with pain for months, and had multiple fillings and adjustments with two other dentists. I even starting feeling sick and feverish with the severity of the infection. After so many issues, I searched for the best endodontist I could find in my network. I called and spoke with the receptionist about the severity of the situation and she was able to have me come in for a scan the same day at the end of their day since they were going to be off for the weekend. After the scan, Dr. Sadek reviewed it and the performed a detailed microscopic exam, and then he discussed the full extent of the infection and how I could possibly lose the tooth if the bone didn't grow back. Only being 29, it was hard to hear since I regularly go in for cleanings every 6 months and had the tooth accessed and redone multiple times but Dr. Sadek talked me through everything and listened to my concerns about past treatment got me on a different antibiotic to prepare for the procedure the next week. 6 months later, the bone around my tooth regrew and even Dr. Sadek himself was so extremely pleased with the result. Now I don't have to worry about missing a tooth! Another thing that I thought was so cool that he offered was the use of a disinfection machine that helps remove the infection and cleanse the area after he finished cleaning out the tooth. When I came in for my recheck scan, I had been experiencing pain in another tooth that I had a root canal done a year and half ago that was done by another endodontist. Unfortunately, I had a small infection that we had hoped would heal on it own but now the infection was worse and was close to my nerve (scary!). Dr. Sadek explained to me how I unfortunately did have more complicated canals (extra accessory canals) and it was likely the reason for the failure. He redid the root canal performed by the other endodonist (a speciality of his) and I'm finally out of pain almost two years later! It is really an amazing thing to read so many reviews about clients having such great experiences with root canals. It made me so confident in coming here so naturally I had to write my own. I had to have a root canal redone because I had developed an infection causing a abscess. I had come here a year ago for xrays and it literally took me a year to get the nerve up to have the procedure. In this case, procrastination was to my benefit because there is since this new non-invasive technology to treat the infection without surgery which will greatly cut down on healing time. At no point did Dr. Sadek scold me for putting off this procedure for a year. He will put the time aside for you and discuss every aspect of the work he will be performing. Though I know he is busy, he never seems to rush his conversations or his work. At my request as a nervous client he prescribed me a Valium to help keep me relaxed during a 2hr procedure. Though I really don't know that I needed it. I felt calm and in trusted hands. I didn't feel the Novocain going in AT ALL. How is this even possible. He only numbed the areas he was working so I was able to speak & even eat (soft foods) afterwards because my entire side of my face was not numb. This kind of specificity tells me a lot about a doctor's work. I had to pay out of pocket because my insurance didn't cover this but to be honest , I'd rather go with someone outside my network who works in this fashion & is this reputable than choose someone simply because it's covered. It's definitely worth picking up some extra hours at work! And he still said he'd submit a claim to make sure that it's not covered. I was referred to Dr. Sadek for a redo of an old root canal that had a long standing infection. Dr. Sadek did a excellent job but unfortunately my body healed the gum in such a way that the infection could not fully drain. Positively the best experience I have had in a dentist's office, and I have been to MANY over the years. I had tooth that was damaged from grinding, and it had been giving me problems for quite some time. One day the pain had become too much to ignore, and I was referred to Dr. Sadek. I had a lot of anxiety going into my appointment because I was told by another dentist this area was 'impossible to numb', so I expected to be in the worst pain of my life. Dr. Sadek explained the nerve anatomy of that area, as well as some physiological things that take place that could make numbing less effective. Not only did I learn a lot from this experience, but when it came time for my appointment, I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort. Ok, so I heard the words no one wants to hear us that I would need a root canal and to get a consult here. I arrived not excited at all because honestly who would be? Although I was a bit cranky that it took quite a while after my appointment to be seen, they don't have a large staff here, the doctor looked at my x rays and examined my mouth and thankfully I did not really need a root canal at all. A weight had been lifted and I was glad, because I would have otherwise gotten dental care I didn't need had I not come for a consult. So yeah a good place to go for a referral or a consult. Dr. Sadek is one of the best doctors I have ever met in my life. I was referred to his office after months of tooth pain and having had various dental procedures. At this point, I was not getting any answers or insights regarding the origins of my pain. Luckily, I was referred to his office. A lovely office, very quiet and peaceful and the root canal itself was a repair for a previous crown that left a piece of a tool in my tooth. My wife went to her regular DDS Monday morning for tooth pain. He saw nothing strange on the x-ray, so he suggested she visit Dr. Sadek. Luckily, he had an appointment available in the morning and after another look with a high-tech imaging device, he determined she needed a root canal ASAP. He was able to get her in later that afternoon and worked until after 6pm to finish the procedure. Couldn't ask for a nicer staff or a nicer doctor. He was very professional and extremely thorough. I wanted a second opinion on a root canal that had be done by another dentist, which I explained over the phone to this office and was told to come in the next day so i did, I explained I had an ex-ray of the tooth, she said by all means bring it in. I was directed by the receptionist to fill out all the paperwork, Insurance etc. on the computer which I did, and they take a photo of you for their records, she asked for the ex-ray and said she'd be right back. I have great insurance so and payment has never been a problem. Waiting in the lobby, I could see around a wall the back of "Sadek 's" head doing something on a computer, 15 or 20 min. went by and I'm wondering... what's going I just need consultation, a second opinion, and this guy hasn't gotten out of his chair. The door then opens up and the receptionist comes to me and say's "Sadek" can't see you now, there's nothing he can do... I said to her I would like to ask a couple of questions, some concerns I have about the possibilities, and If he would consider doing the rest of the work because I had lost faith in the dentist that I started with... Her answer was "Sadek" just can't see you to answer questions, she went on saying, " if you want I can do a 3-D scan of the problem tooth, I said Ok how long does that take, she said a few minuets, and it will be a cash payment we don't take insurance on 3-D scans so it'll be $350... I said and you don't take insurance? The receptionist was very matter of fact and a little on the snobbish side with an air of you're really not welcome here attitude. "Sadek" never even pepped his head around the corner... As you can see I won't even give him the title (Dentist or Doctor) he doesn't deserve it as far as I know of him and his office. When I was told the day before I left on vacation that I needed an emergency root canal, I panicked. Feeling relieved when they had me in his chair 20 minutes later. ...I am very accustomed to dental work. I was brought to tears when an abscess was discovered at the root of tooth #7, which anchored my bridge. Every other dentist wanted to charge me 8k to remove my bridge give me two implants and 2 crowns. Listen to me... Dr. Sadek he is the best. First: No one could drill through my bridge, Dr. Sadek could. Every dentist w/o exception could never administer novocain without that proverbial "pinch" even with that gel that numbs the area... but Dr. Sadek could I never tensed up not once (and I always did in the past w/o exception). His offices are tranquil and pleasing & the seats are leather (plush). Dr. Sadek is a perfectionist, he answers his own calls, provides follow up and his wife is very congenial. I love this Dentist... I wanted to tip him after he completed my treatment. Oh ~ and they refunded the overage I paid (when the Insurance covered a lil more than expect....no dental office has ever done that ~ I could name another that tried to cheat me; but I stay in communication with my provider so they never could). Long short... I do need a new bridge (but not for a year or so and the abscess is gone, GONE)! read more

My teeth are calsifying at a fast rate and though my dentist is fully capable she felt that seeing a specialist would be more beneficial to me. She was right. Dr Sadek is a wonderful endodontist. He is thorough, an expert in his field, and a kind and gentle man. He also has all of the latest, cutting edge technology. He does what is necessary to get the job done correctly, the first time.
