I had a pleasant experience here. My sales associate was patient and willing to listen. They do push the warranty and I always buy it. I hate paying for it but I have a pair of diamond hoops that are broken, from another store of course and I love the piece of mind. I can take it in anywhere and they will fix it. Back to this store... 2 associates work the store, so be patient. Very attentive to the customer. I have been to a few zales stores recently and this store has had a better selection from the others. Very pleased with my selection. Always stop here when I am in the area. Live in the mid west so always excited to show off NW coast style when at home. read more

We stopped here as I have had a pendant for a couple of months that didn't have a proper chain. The woman that assisted us showed us a couple of chains. In fact, she unknowingly broke one as she pulled it out of the case. When I pointed out that the end was broken off she seemed surprised. She put my pendant on a chain and had me try it on. She was already planning the sale and the extra add on "jewelry protection plan" when I was kind of eyeing my boyfriend with the "I think this might be too expensive look." She seemed undetered and proceeded toward the check out. Because after she took off 50 percent as it said on the case and another 10 percent as it stated was the sale that weekend the price with the "protection plan" was $199.00 which with today's gold prices wasn't bad for a 20 inch gold chain. He said to me later if I didn't want the "protection plan" I would have told her. I said I just didn't like the way she was trying to do that as an add on sale. (I've been in sales before and it wasn't a subtle move on her part). Overall, the store and selection were fine and I would probably go back but I don't think I would purchase the $40 protection plan that is a limited warranty kind of thing. Add it to your personal insurance at home for less money is my motto. read more

We went to this location after being to Clackamas multiple times for repairs and other issues with my engagement ring and those girls in there were AMAZING! The experience I've had with Zales has been horrible to be nice. I went into exchange my engagement ring that was less than a year old. The manager showed me every ring they had in stock and just took TIME to make sure I was sure I was picking out the right one. The two girls in this store were compassionate, caring, polite, and so much more. They didn't seem to care that they weren't making commission or any of that they were just happy that I was happy. If you have had a horrible experience with Zales in general I would recommend going to this location before just writing the company off completely. read more

I will never give them my business again. They are rude and their customer service is nonexistent. My ring is of very cheap quality and they refuse to fix it even though I bought the lifetime guarantee. Every time I go in to have it cleaned, they appall me with their rudeness. I went in with my boyfriend, who bought me the ring, and they made jokes and rude comments about how he should really remember where he put the paperwork, even though they can look it up on they system. They called him a "typical man" and made us feel stupid for even walking in there to have my ring cleaned. Take your business elsewhere. Makes me laugh that these people treat customers this way yet probably work on commission. read more

I have been to the outlet store inTroutdale, the people there were nice. What bothered me was that even though the employee wrote my name down on the "call when the sellers come in" to look at different settings than what they have in store, i never got a call. This happened in two ocassions and it seems really unprofessional to me. I will probably take my money somewhere else. read more

I went here to get a new wedding ring set for my 15 yr. anniversary and was Not pressured into bigger sale. I described what I liked in ring style since what i was seeing in the case didnt wow me the girl went over to the "clearance" case and showed me the perfect ring from my description. Both sales people listened to what I said and didnt try to find the biggest price tag but what I really wanted. Not only that but were helpful in the sizing and making sure the ring was back in short amount of time. I will definetely be going to Zales for all future jewelery purchases. read more
