I have been to two other centers, and frankly, haven't had a negative experience with any of the 6…read moreyoga instructors I've been taught by. But for me, Liz is a notch above the rest. Liz and the other yoga instructors at Advanced Health Massage and Yoga have helped me find a new way of stretching and relaxing that has changed my life! I'm a 51 year old, male runner with ridiculously tight hamstrings, hips, and IT bands like every other older (male and female) runner I know. After a stress fracture side-lined me for 6 months, my physical therapist told me that if I wanted to run for years to come with minimal or no injuries, that I would need to do yoga. My PT warned me against impersonal gyms, killer to follow DVD's, and large centers. I would need specialized, hands-on training from a smaller, more patient studio. Liz, and the other instructors at Advanced, have been perfect for my needs, and the strength and flexibility I've seen in just three months has already helped me lower my 5K race times and I sleep and wake up more comfortably. They mix just the right amount of meditation and stretching in a quiet and calming atmosphere. It was also hard to beat their $20 for 20 days new member special. I went 8 times over the 20 days for only $20! Of course by then I was ready to sign up for the 10x card which makes the prices of a session only $12.00 Again, hard to beat. Prior to opening her center, Liz worked for several years as a massage therapist in a local chiropractic practice and offers shiatsu and cranio facial massage, and what I would term sports therapeutic massage. Lots of stretching out and aligning my body correctly, and solving issues with areas that are just chronically sore and bowed in from stress, like my shoulders and neck. And since Liz knows me from yoga class, she has real insight into my needs and issues. I would highly recommend you check out Advanced Heath Massage and Yoga if you are in the greater Billerica area. Also check out their Facebook page, that's actually how I decided on this yoga center. The comments there gave off a really pleasant vibe.

I have been attending classes at AHMY for over a year now and I can honestly say that it is one of…read morethe best studios I've ever attended for my own practice. My favorite classes tend to be more strength and holding of postures, not heated flow or power yoga, although they do have a class or two like that as well. They also occasionally offer kids yoga. It is a small space, never over crowded, convenient to my home, and, I always feel welcome. Namaste!!!

I have always been athletic and active, but after two…read morecesareans just two years apart and with three herniated discs, getting back into fitness required a more thoughtful approach. The Vibe offers heated Pilates classes (along with other types of classes) that have truly changed my life. I am down 80 pounds and have more mobility now than I ever did, even before having kids. When I say The Vibe is my church, I mean it. I am an avid hot Pilates and Tone Strength Cardio attendee. If I miss one of Brooke's classes, I make sure to double up the following week. Brooke pushes muscles I never even knew I had, and after 2.5 years, I am still discovering new ones every session. She is incredibly motivating and constantly reminds me that I'm here for my health and mobility. The mind-body connection from her classes is what will keep me climbing stairs well into my 80s. She incorporates different equipment to target areas I've never worked before, and I *crave* her classes as a way to level up every day! Whether you're just starting your fitness journey or looking for a challenge, Brooke is the coach for you. She will get you where you need to go--and beyond--showing you what you're truly capable of with a variety of dynamic movements. THANK YOU, BROOKE!!!!

I took Robin's Yin and Nidra class a few times and she was super funny! My only gripe is that you have to cancel your unlimited one month subscription a MONTH in advance, which was just annoying when it was $149 and for someone like me with ADHD I cannot plan/even know how I was going to feel that far in advance.

Not a place where people come to show off--not their spendy yoga swag nor their fancy yoga moves. Very down-to-earth. The style of yoga taught here is largely of the vinyasa style--steady and flowing, but not as rushed as a power yoga class. Not as heated, either. I'd guess that the room temperature is kept somewhere in the low 80s. Comfortable and warming, but you don't feel like you need IV fluids afterward. Classes here incorporate music into the flow--which I really enjoy. Helps get me out of my head and adds to the experience. The instructors are proficient and friendly and creative. I particularly like Susan--but these days she only teaches an early (for me) morning class on Sundays. I'd love to get out to this place more, but (a) it's a small (albeit scenic) trek out to Concord and (b) it's a weebit expensive, in my opinion ($17 for a drop-in; $16 if you buy a 10 class pass--the part about no expiry is nice! The unlimited 3-month package is tres, tres expensive at $525). Minor gripes, yes. In all, a great place to get a yoga workout for the body and the soul. A hidden gem . . .
