It is one of my favorite pieces of furniture. I was devastated and wanted it restored to its original condition. Having no experience getting a piece refinished, I turned to the web combing over sites and reviews. I came upon Artisan's site and it seemed to be someone who cherished this type of work. My intuition proved true. The owner, Guy, was easy to work with and I am more than pleased with the finished restoration. He was accommodating of my timing (he's super busy!) and how I wanted it restored ( leaving some of the character like where my dog chewed on the leg and matching the current or original stain color). Since I didn't shop around, I can't speak to the pricing but it seemed fair to me. I would not hesitate at recommending Guy for any treasured piece needing refinishing. Before and after pics below. They were very communicative during the pre-build process when we tried to map out where the fence would go. A couple days before construction was to begin, I noticed that they had called 811 and had had the area flagged for underground wires (again, they are on the ball). The fence looks amazing! My neighbors across the street, seeing how speedy and nice the fence went in, walked over and got Axis's card for to build their deck.
