This Zara location needs self checkout to wait online for an hr every time I come here is crazy

It's unfortunate that I have to report the store. I'm originally from New York Staten Island for the last 15 years. I love going to the store but every time I go to this particular store. It's sad that the service isn't that great at all . The managers in the store are excellent, but human resources needs to do a better job. The worst zara I have been to. Stopped by to purchase a perfume. I was waiting on the line and the cashier was just talking and didn't care. I had to walk up and ask can I pay here...then this cashier looked..ignore and didn't wana answer me...then I repeat myself and she unwilling checked me out..very unwelcome here..there was couple of people behind me and the cashier was still chatting and ignoring the line..the worst customer service here.zara need to look into the management here. Came with my wife for an online pickup waited outside for approximately 15 mins while store employees kept going in and out telling us someone would help us shortly. could hear laughing behind back door knocked on door and an employee could be heard knocking back and laughing on the other side of the door. very unprofessional horrible service at this location. read more

The lines are insane. I waited an hour to return something. The cashiers are soooooo slow. One of the cashier got in an altercation with two customers while I was waiting in line too. The two girls were frustrated with the line wait time (as we all were) and he just made it even worse, started swearing at them and yelling. The manager came over but did no deescalation whatsoever. read more

What a wack Zara. What is usually a relatively delightful, high-ish end shopping experience was absolutely traaassshh at this location. I drove an hour there (after I got off of MY shitty retail job) and arrived around 8:30 to purchase pants I'd been lusting after for my birthday the following day. I took a pic to ask my mom what she thought but the store had absolutely zero service. I stepped out the door to send the text and the security guard locked me out!! At 8:40. He said it was the managers policy and wouldn't let me back in???! After I drove an hour there, it closed 20 minutes early. He said to come back the next day as if that's accesible to all people. A major tool. And he was letting other people in!! But not me? Dirty store with nasty attitudes. read more

Awful service, the guard looks askance, especially when you are with children and all the time makes a remark to the child. Excuse me, but here in this store there is a floor with children's clothes where you need to bring a child to try on clothes. That's why mothers go to the store with children. even in the future, I wanted to remind you that this is a store that exists to provide services to the population, that is, a woman, a man and children, too, if you want to provide some kind of service, then you must respect everyone equally, both women and children too. read more

This store is part disaster part great. The pros is take as many things as you want into the changing room they couldn't care. Staff will help you find things by scanning the item and letting you know if they have any other ones in stock or on the floor. Many cons but one of the worst is you never know what your walking into sometimes this store looks like a tornado other times it's organized. I like it best on a weekdays as it's crowded but not packed. The lines are SOOOO LONG and yesterday they had no more large bags and had to put peoples things into large Zara envelopes and small Zara bags, total disaster. Staff is pleasant though and always tries to accommodate. Kings plaza raised parking rates for 2 hours to $3 and 3 hours to $4 whatever. read more

Store is usually a mess, they don't have the cute selections available at other Zara's. Also fitting room is NEVER open.

Kings plaza has been doing a decent job at renovating the mall. To my understanding they are to bring back shoppers from shopping elsewhere like gateway or online so they're doing their research getting with the times and finally opened up a Zara. From what I have seen, everything is organized and clean and they have all the same cute stuff like in Soho. Plenty sizes too. When I need to get something to wear last minute, This will most definitely save me the trip to the city. read more

ive been shopping at zaras forever and a day. check my account. but have never been to this location, i usually go to the city since i work there and live in queens with no zara near. needed a dress for a last minute event and the app showed this location had one so i called to have it placed on hold. the girl said she didnt want to do it to avoid the dress "going through so many hands" & having the dressed misplaced. i was like so confused, first i ever heard this excuse lmao especially since ive put dozens of items on hold overnight at other locations so i just hung up. later i called back and spoke to the manager & she would only place it on hold till eob. not exactly what i was used to but still ran to get this emergency dress. i wasnt completely satisfied with the customer service & their ability to accommodate my request but was very surprised to find a wonderfully kind employee named rubina that searched for 3 other dresses for me as i waited on line. this lady legit went out of her way to go find an ipad to then try & locate 3 dresses my daughter was sending me at the last second smh & then went on a 10 minute search for them. unfortunately she came up empty handed but i absolutely appreciated the effort, help & kindness. stark difference to how my phone calls went earlier that day. shes definitely a keeper & should absolutely be promoted. she possesses managerial qualities unlike the others that seemed bothered by my request. read more

Zara KINGS PLAZA is the absolute worst. I went there on September 24th between 730 pm -9pm and had the worst shopping experience. I went there to exchange a pair of leather pants I bought for my daughter that came with the zipper broken. The cashier immediately called the manager after I explained to her the pants were shipped out to me like that and I just wanted to exchange the pants. After the two ( cashier and manager ) talked amongst themselves, the manager came over and said " we don't accept damaged returns and I needed to contact Zara customer service to find out how I can do a return " and he walked away , even though I showed them my full E-receipt for my purchase online . It just didn't make sense to me because clearly from my receipt you can see I purchased numerous items , and I told them the item came damaged. I'm pretty sure they have a damaged box that the send back items , most retail stores have them . So after making my purchase , I went to look for the manager so that I can get his name and the store number so that when I call Zara customer service I can let them know who I spoke with. The manager I spoke with proceeded to tell me : Manager : I don't know the store number by heart . Me : Well is there anyway that you can find out. Manager : No , you can google it online . Me: so you mean to tell me , all of the employees that work in store and no one knows the store number . Manager:Yes , you can go online and google it . Me : I said why should I have to google anything when there are a number of employees here , one of you should know it. Especially you because your the manager. That is unacceptable. Can I get your name please? Manager : We are not required to give our names. He then called over another manager, and he as well told me the same thing . I've been shopping with Zara for many years and have never experienced this horrible customer service. Both Male managers I spoke with were extremely rude, as well as the cashier who rang my purchase up. I will never shop this Zara's again. read more

I placed an order online January 15th, 2019 and had it delivered to them store in Kings Plaza. I received an email on January 17th that my order had been shipped. After 1.5 weeks I called Zara's corporate office and they told me that the items were delivered and I will receive an email when it is scanned in. On February 1st I still had not received any email and was told that they are investigating the situation. On February 7th I received a refund. Long story short if you order online do not have it shipped to this store, you are better off sending it to the city. read more

Very bad service. Managers were extremely rude and workers did not offer any kind of help. I went in there and nobody retrieved my items for me nobody on the floor had a scanner and when I asked the managers for help they gave me all attitude and told me that they had no items although one of the other girls told me that they did. The store had no air conditioning it was extremely hot and I was witnessing one of the managers very rudely speak to one of the employees.
