Nobody loves this brand as much as I do but going into this store really makes you question your loyalty. The staff has the personality of an amoeba. It's a very popular store by the size of the crowds in there and the long lines for the fitting rooms and check out but other than someone at the door (sometimes) who would say hello/welcome the staff there is terrible! Don't even think about asking someone where something is! First you have to find the staff and if you do they will act as if they don't want to be there, they have no idea (or claim they don't) where things are and smiling must be forbidden because I never saw anyone have even a remotely friendly look on their face. One ONE person tried to help me find a size of some jeans and led me to another staff member who did not stop chewing out another employee about her work hours to just point the locator thing that finds sizes at the jeans. Gee! Sorry I interrupted your bitching out someone session - whatever was I thinking asking you to assist a customer. If I want something from Zara I will try online ordering. The prices in the store are pretty reasonable but I found a lot of the material to be heavy on the polyester side or very thin. I wanted to grab a quick jacket since it was cooler than expected later in the evening. This place is a mess: overcrowded, narrow aisles, clothes in disarray, long lines, understaffed. Customer service is lack there of. I never was greeted or asked if I was finding everything ok. I shopped and waited at the register. Many employees seen me and never spoke or informed me of anything. I have asked for a manager, however it took over 5 mins to even get them to come out. The manager came out and I asked for his name. This Zara is brand new just opened up less than a month ago. After reading the first review I was had to jump in and give this store more stars. I have been here twice already thanks to my wife shopping online and choosing the pick up at store options. Hey if it saves me time and the against of going shopping, I'm all for it!! Though the store is impeccable and I have shopped here countless times I was extremely mortified at what I just witnessed. A staff member by the name of Joana was at the cash register assisting a customer on her purchase when she fell due to misplaced hangers that had been left unattended. 2 managers Angel/Susie came up to her, helped her up and walked away never once asking Joana if she was hurt. CLEARLY Joana was hurts as she kept cradling her wrist in pain. Neither manager relieved Joana from her post so that she could tend to her injuries. The store was Not even busy. Luckily I was next to be assisted by Joana and I spoke up for her to her Male manager by the name of Angel and told him that Joana was hurt and should be treated. He then approached her and told her that as soon as she was done with me she should come to the back to file a report rather than to have Joana tend to her injuries. The customer service is TERRIBLE! All of the employees are focused on getting the store cleaned (putting back items from the fitting room, new merchandise, etc) rather than providing customer focus. The girls in the fitting room are extremely rude and once again not focused on the customer. I am not the only one saying this based on the existing reviews, I don't understand why management hasn't cleaned house and done a new hiring and training on better customer service driven employees. Now that I see the Lincoln Road location has two starts I completely understand. Just experienced the worst customer service. As a SOBE resident I usually only run into Macy's for local shopping if I'm trying to avoid a mall. Today as a favor to someone I ran into Zara with a screen shot of an item to purchase. Hoping to be in and out I showed the associate for help. She seemed irritated because I interrupted her "chisme" with another associate. She quickly rushed me to a counter and told me those are the pants I'm looking for. When I went to the register (no one was waiting) the man behind the counter rang the pants up for 10$ more then the online price. When I asked if I grabbed the wrong pair and showed him the screenshot he told me he could not help unless I provided the item number. This seemed like poor shitty customer service because he was not busy and all I was looking for was a basic black trouser. Regardless I did the online search myself and found the reference number In a minute. I Showed him the number and magically he knew the location of the pants without even using the number to look it up. This is irritating, basically he wanted to be no help and just make me jump thought a hoop to get him a reference number he did nothing with. I spent 30 minutes shopping in the store and had a pile of clothes to try on but when I went to the dressing room I was turned away because it was 2 minutes after closing time! And shoppers were given no warning that the dressing rooms were closing. There were still at least 50 people in the store and I would've spent hundreds of dollars. I don't shop much at ZARA but the brand always put a great image in the back of my mind because of this co. based out of Spain constantly putting out newest & fashionable designs about 5 months ahead of their competitors w/ acceptable prices. This review applies to ZARA in general and not to any particular store location. Today I wanted to contact the ZARA online office in regards to their return policy that I purchased online a month ago. Under their website Contact, I clicked CHAT hoping to get a faster response and to keep a record of the conversation. The CHAT kept on go into an error after my 3 attempts. It then gave me an email address "contact.us@zara.com" which had being returned w/ a message said "not deliverable". I then called the 1-855-635-9272 online customer service, she did answered my questions about the return policy. But it just seem extremely odd to me that she didn't have the access to find my order, and she couldn't give me the correct email address for contact nor to tell me where her office is located because according to her, those information are confidential even though I can easily find their main office that's located in New York from the internet. I never came in contact w/ any companies and especially big company such as ZARA that couldn't be open up to the public. It seems as they have so much to hide. If the contact information in their website is inaccurate not sure if anything else stated in their website is legit. I got curious and read about the history of ZARA and their reviews. I found they are a proud company focus strongly in their fashion designs and speedy put out on the floors. What they look for in their employees are how they look and their taste in fashion. They don't spend money on any advertisements, training or customer service. Most of the employees are getting paid at minimum wage for the reason why they all give out BAD customer service w/ mad faces. read more

I have been there more than 4 times and always the same situation, a complete lack of interest from the Men's department staff, they see you entering the area and don't greet you , not even smile or something. if you need some assistance you need to follow them , Today an associate was literally next to me when I was looking for something and he doesn't even make eye contact or say hello, I mean is Basic education. it seems they think they are making you a favor to letting you shopping around there. today I was interested in a couple things but because of the lack of customer service and attention I walked out. seriously need to change that soon. read more
