This store is most certainly the most unkept store at Scottsdale Fashion Square. There are clothes on the floor totally ignored by sales associates who turn a blind eye. The floor is plain dirty with dust balls under the shelves and between racks. One associate rolling a rack of clothes with one long dress reaching the floor unknowingly collected a dust bin worth of dirt behind it. The dressing rooms are not surprisingly worse with actual trash supplementing dust balls. Employee nonchalant attitude exacerbates the already negative image. "Cash or credit card" are the first things associates mutter at register. No hello or welcome to Zara, not even a smile. This store is out of place at the posh Fashion Square. This review is not about the Zara brand, but about the store that does a good job tarnishing a fine European brand. read more

I ordered jeans online. They came in and didn't fit. I returned them. They won't accept the return because they said I wore them. Which I didn't. They still had tags on them and didn't fit me. I guess a tag was cut out on the inside. (Which I didn't do) so obviously someone else bought them and returned them and then they sent them to me and I tried to return them and they wouldn't accept them. Totally screwed me. read more

Worst return policies and customer service ever. As they say, you truly do "get what you pay for." I spent $3k here on clothing for my kids 3 days ago. I came to return one sweater for $39 and they would not allow me to return it because I only had a "scan" of my receipt (including the scannable and unique receipt QR code). They told me it doesn't matter how much $ I spent. Without a physical receipt, they could not do anything except for an exchange. So what did I do? I went home, grabbed the entire $3k worth of clothing and the physical receipt... and I returned everything for a 100% refund. Never going back. Period. Well done Zara. Terrible customer service. The whole family had covid, couldn't make it in store to return by the window. Advised this to in-store employee, they said to call customer service because there is nothing they could do in store. Called customer service, they gave false hope like they could do it and said I will get an email with the decision. They also said no.. I misunderstood the return window (the receipt said 11/09/2023, instead of 09/11/2023) if they agree to sell to Americans/America then they need to be more flexible. read more

I will never shop in this store again. We waited in line for 50 minutes to return one item. The customers in front of us were returning bags of items. The line behind us was crazy long. The family in front of me was only returning one pair of shorts. The cashiers barely acknowledged my husband and I. Ahe didn't say I'm sorry for the wait or even thank you for being patient. So unhelpful! I was in the store yesterday and bought about $700 with of merchandise. When I got in my car I realized that a bracelet I was wearing was gone. I couldn't go back into the store because it was closed. It was the store in Scottsdale Arizona. There is no way to call the store. I called the general customer service number and asked if they could contact the store and see if the bracelet was turned in. He said they don't have a phone for anyone to call the store. What?!! He said I needed to go back to the store and Zara is not responsible for lost items. I realize I am the one who lost it I just want to know if anyone in the store found it. I dont live in Scottsdale. Absolutely terrible!!!! I can't even find where to begin with this store. Came in for just one item and proceeded to wait upwards of 30 minutes just to try it on. Once I was finally able to try on my shirt, I went to grab another size and the employee was very rude and said "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to not bring things in and out of the fitting rooms." She stated this after I had watched multiple others do the same. She also felt the need to say this after not having enforced the "10 items per person in the fitting rooms" rule for anyone in front of me in line. I was utterly shocked and displeased with how I was treated in this store and will not be returning. When this rude comment was emitted towards me I returned the worker with "I only have 2 items and am the only person here following the rules." She processed to walk off in a rude and unhappy manner. Well I can see why there is so many negative reviews.. customer service.. as much as we come here customer service as definitely been hit or miss. Example we went there this weekend to get a few things for our trip next month and the ladies in the kids section were very helpful and nice! But when we went down stairs to the ladies to the gentleman at the register was not polite. He's seems like he honestly didn't want to be there, zero conversation, not a hello, how are you, nothing!! The lady next to him didn't do that for her customer either! No one checks to see if your doing okay or if you need help. But I the reason I am giving 4 star is because we always find what we are looking for, for the most part it is clean. Easy layout to find things or colors. We did have an issue one time we went and my husband fell in love with this coat that he wanted for his music video, we went to pay for it and they told us we couldn't buy it something was wrong and basically the company put a flag (no legit reason behind it beside i don't know this might be it). He was pretty upset. The next day I had to make a return so I went back and they still had this coat on the shelf (even though they told us they were going to pull it) and there was a lot of them it wasn't like it was a random coat. So I went and grabbed it, just so happened to be the same one for the night before because they didn't put the sensor back on. I took it the register with hopes of a different answer and nope same thing. I asked why was thing one and ALL the other ones still there then, she pulled them then. The fitting rooms remain closed which means any purchase must be tried on at home and if it doesn't fit--returned and, again, we stand in long lines. So, if you have an extra hour to stand in lines and travel back and forth for a purchase, this is your place. This store is in dire need of a customer service training. Memorial Day weekend is one of the biggest shopping weeks of the year and they have two registers open with a line out the door. I was so happy to see a Zara FINALLY in Arizona! This Spanish-owned company can be found on every corner of many haute European cities and they're always packed full of people. I love coming in to browse their woman's selection of clothes and lucky Phoenicians get to shop at the Men's and Kids section of Zara which can also be found here! Lots of trendy clothes, shoes, handbags and colognes. The kids section has trendy clothes that are reasonably priced. The Las Vegas store doesn't even have a kids section! read more

Very slow cashiers with salty attitudes . I returned a blazer yesterday & the cashier would not give me a copy of the return on a return receipt & herself and her coworkers are extremely slow at ringing up customers . I go to this Zara location quite often and usually I don't mind waiting in lines because it's a busy location. I went to the fitting to try on couple of things and literally 6 employees were there "chatting"...while I was trying to find a worker on the floor to try to help me to find something. Whoever though self checkout was a good idea when you have to take security tags off each item needs to rethink their business plan... There is only one Zara in the state of Arizona. I hope one day that Zara will expand either store size or locations for Arizona. Especially because of the amount of customers per day they have. Their clothes are great and comfortable and the price is just right. The associates are very patient and professional. They not only take care of customers in person, but also with the customers from online purchases as well. Which makes it harder on the associates.
