I called Chuck at about 7:45 in the morning on Sunday, and he said he would come out and jump the meter so I had power, and he would refer me to somebody else to replace the panel as he was not licensed in the city. He called me back an hour later to see how I made out. So my hat is off to him. PS: he answered his own phone at 7:45 in the morning as he was getting in the shower! Some people return my phone call Wednesday morning. While he didn't get the job. He deserves a five star rating for his honesty and follow up.

Called MJM Sunday afternoon, they called back Monday morning, and we had someone on Tuesday at noon. They sent Tim out, who was awesome. Came in, gave it 2 looks, said he had to go back and get some supplies, and came back and banged it out - whole thing took maybe an hour. I didn't really care too much about cost at that point because my son was home from the hospital so the nursery was out of commission for the first day he was home but it was super reasonable to get fixed. Like to the point where i should have just called them to hang it originally. Plus there's some peace of mind from having a pro do it. Will definitely call MJM if I need electrical work in the future.

When I went back to the property 3 days later I found out the electric had been shut off! Which in turn shut off our boilers for heat, and it was 40* in the house! When I called the electric company to get it turned back on the told me Twin City hadn't had their work inspected from the town so we could not get it turned back on. I called the owner Mike Friday and Saturday with NO response, finally on Sunday when I left and irate voicemail he called back and came to the house and said it was an oversight by his office... instead of appropriately fixing the problem, he ILLEGALLY cut off the lock out tag from National Grid, and asked us to keep it quiet. We had over $5500.00 in damages that our insurance claim denied because the service had been turned off due to the negligence of Mike Murphy and his company. While we were doing repairs and working with our insurance, Mr Murphy claimed it was his error, asked our deductible so he could cover it and said if insurance denied our claim he would work it out with us. Once we let him rectify the illegal work he did and get the town inspection, we never heard from him again. Our attorney sent him a letter with the charges and he is now claiming WE were responsible for the inspection! I understand it was an oversight not to get the inspection done, but it was his responsibility and that caused major damage at our property! He is untruthful, unethical, and we will be moving forward with a lawsuit. I hope his conscious will kick in and he will rectify the situation!

The other was very cheap, yet day by day, "oh, we got busy see you tomorrow." Ummmmm. No. I work. Twin City gave me an estimate, when they said they would. Cost was more than reasonable and the crew came on time and was more than personable. Great owner and company.

While a previous reviewer thought the work was too pricey, I believe you get what you pay for and my job was not something I would have relegated to a non-electrician. Mike arranged for the digging of the trench, buried utility line location, city inspector, and stump grinding. This was a full service project and I cant be more happy with the end result

He provided us an invoice/estimate for the overhead repair on 12/5/15, total cost $1500. I gave him a deposit on 12/5/15 for $750. Despite numerous calls to initiate the job and 5 months later he has put off the job and no return on the deposit with I phoned and left him a message to say I will find some other electrician to do the job.This is not any way to do business, and very irresponsible.
