He did it with no issues and with no additonal charge. We added a tip to the final payment to show our appreciation for the hard work he and his team did. After a popcorn ceiling removal left us with bare and damaged drywall, Erwin and Antonio fixed it up like new and matched the texture closely with our existing one. Erwin Zavala - The owner dropped by on time and explained me the entire job, effort, timelines and cost. He gave me a quote and confirmed availability of his team in 2 days. Since he had not much online reviews, I asked him for his contract/license & he not only shared that but also his Driver license to let me know that he is trustworthy. I went ahead with the contract with him due to the timing and pricing flexibility. He and his team were supposed to get the exterior done in 5 days and if I liked it, he may get the contract for the interior painting as well. He finished the exterior in 6 days and did it well. I didn't ask for a license at the time and paid them entirely too much money, they cracked my 75-inch flat-screen TV and they lied about the license, and being bonded. they refuse to replace my 75-inch Samsung TV. How come people want to get paid for everything they do, but they refuse to tell me that the screen on my TV was cracked, and they received my money like they were owed something, these people are no good and they are out to scam other people out of their money. These are liars cheaters and scammers, the work looks Ok but for everything they do they want double the money for it. I would never work with another set of folks like this. I am taking them to court for my cracking my TV screen and not replacing it. read more

I'm super happy that I went with Zavala's Painting from all the other bids. His rate was competitive, and the value is there! Erwin is very prompt in his communication, and very transparent. What I appreciate is care and attention. He came to restore our very, very old garage, and I ended up hiring him to paint the house and most the interior too. While he was at it, he addressed some rotting wood panels, replaced the simpler things to replace, and restored a few things I hadn't thought about (like the cover to my EV charge station) After he was done he came by to check on things, and ended up touching up some areas that weren't quite right. The paint we had on one wall was coming off with blue tape, so he threw on a fresh coat and no more issues! I had forgot to mention to remove some nest cams before painting, and while his team was careful to paint around them, a little bit of overspray got the backs of the camera. Not a big deal but he still came by to clean them up! Since then I've hired him to paint my mom's house and referred him to another project a friend of mine had. I am the owner of one of the homes in Zavala's portfolio. Of course, they did not ask if they could spotlight our home. Our home was painted about 90% and then the painter disappeared. No calls, no text just gone. We had asked that specific paints in color be used and Zavala substituted those. We were left to finish the rest of the house on our own that he left unpainted. We had to guess on the products they had used. As homeowners this made it especially difficult and time-consuming. We are not painters. We tried to text and call Zavala only to have our calls unanswered and ignored. This is only the second yelp review I have ever done. We want to warn all those out there to not use this company.
